TLDR - LOVE it here!! They worked on my brakes and aligned my car. the place is so clean and cute for a car shop, and the people were nice and helpful :) other bonus is they have a shop puppy with them most of the time (photo attached!!!)! AND comparably the price was great for the value. I went in first thing the next morning and was greeted warmly. They immediately took my truck in and performed the alignment. I was out of there in 25 minutes. This is going to be a lengthy review so I will provide a summary first and then provide the full description below. Summary: great work, reasonable prices, amazing customer service. Could not reccomend further. The details: I will start off this review by mentioning that they do offer a marginal coupon if you write them a great review. That being said, I did not receive the coupon because I did not promise them a great review. I have been burned by so many shops in my past that I only trust a very select few shops. I wanted to see how the vehicle drove first and make sure everything was solid for a few days before I wrote my review. That being said, I believe both great and bad reviews are earned, and great reviews cannot be purchased. Furthermore, my satisfaction with the customer service and work done here go far beyond what words can describe. I brought in my 1990 Chevrolet C3500 originally to get an alignment. It was very difficult for me to find a shop that could do an alignment on a dually since most places do not have a large enough machine/rack. Before doing the alignment, I asked them to check everything else out because it is a 35 year old vehicle and I sensed there were some problems going on because of its age and that the truck had a death wobble (rapid steering wheel movement when driving) which is not a great feeling when you are towing over 10,000 pounds. They let me look with them underneath the vehicle and pointed out everything that needed replacement. While it was pricy to get the work done (bulk cost was parts), the vehicle desperately needed the repair to be done and to be done correctly. The work did take a little bit longer than estimated (original estimate was one day I think but it ended up being 3) to be fixed but I was not surprised given the amount of items they replaced (upper and lower control arms, steering gear box, inner and outter tie rods, center link, idler arm, and pivot arm). I would also like to highlight that they paid for a Lyft to take me to and from home which most shops will not do and I live decently far from this shop (~30 minutes). This is a BIG deal for me because it has always been a challenge for me to get to and from shops and I normally end up having to buy the Lyft myself. When my truck was done, they washed it for me. Very FEW shops will even bother with that. They even pointed out how I could easily remove the rust building up on my steel wheels. This is a family owned shop and everyone here is on the younger side (early 20s) but I do not think that is a problem at all since the customer service and the work done is 12/10. Often times, younger people have fresh eyes so this is a plus for me. They pay attention to the small details that everyone misses. I wish I found this shop sooner than later. Next time I need an alignment or other work done suspension wise, I will most definitely be back. Needless to say, I am very very impressed with the quality of the work, the friendliness of the team, and their pricing is on par with quality standards. P.S. they have a super cute dog that hangs out at the shop with them! read more

I Stopped by this place on a Saturday before noon, and was greeted by a gentleman who I believe is the owner/Operator. The place is spotless, very clean, and seems to have very modern equipment. As They did an alignment on my 2008 Silverado pick up, I was Showen on the computer screen the before and after diagrams as to the status of my alignment. I was referred to Top Alignment by America's Tire in Montclair on Central Ave across from Target. I called this business first because it was later in the day. I spoke with the owner, Marco Lopez. I asked him if he had time to do a front end alignment and told him that I could be there in about 15 minutes. He said yes. I also asked for a cost estimate. The cost was super reasonable. It was approximately half of what the dealer charged ... I arrived, filled out the paperwork. Marco did the inspection. He showed me and explained what was going on with the front end [too much detail for this review] and why I needed the front tires replaced before doing the alignment. I went to America's Tire the following day for the tire replacement because they were still under warranty. I returned to Top Alignment after having the tires replaced. I'm very fortunate to have been referred to Top Alignment!! It was so refreshing to do business with an honest, very professional and pleasant business owner. Marco didn't talk down to me because I'm a female. Marco's daughter Bea [as in Aunt Bea on the Andy Griffith show] was working at the front desk. She was just as honest, professional and pleasant as her father. Bea was super knowledgeable as well. She shared that her brother also worked with their father. I believe she said that this was the 4th generation of her family being in the auto repair business. The Top Alignment business family is stellar!!! Their work ethic is outstanding. Went here today to get my Moms car aligned after getting her new tires - 2018 CX-9. They hooked everything up on the lift - he came out and said let me show you something- looked at his computer screen and he said everything is fine ( showed me the numbers that I didn't need an alignment ) and said you're good. I had the absolute worst experience here! At first the two gentlemen were pretty pleasant during my visit here. I paid the $350 for the services that they said they performed, assuming they did the job. After I left I noticed pretty quickly that my alignment in fact had not been fixed! My car was still veering severely to the right. I called back to let them know. The guy said that was pretty weird but to come back and he would make things right. I was not able to bring my car back that same day so a few days later, I brought my car back and the guy was very short with me. He took my car for a short ride and said there was nothing wrong with it and told me that he would like to show me. I told him that I can drive my car and he said it would be better if he did it so that we wouldn't have to drive my car twice. I thought that was a bit off because I don't know why we would have to test drive my car twice. So, I get in the car and while we were driving down the side road he touched my steering wheel at least five to six times before we even got to the first stop sign because my car was veering to the right. He told me, "that's because it's the road." I knew darn well it was not the road. At the stop sign he made a quick U-turn and then accelerated at a quick speed, probably going at least 70 mph, and then proceeds to tell , " see there's nothing wrong with your alignment." if you know anything about physics, you would know why that would happen. As we started to approach his building, the man started getting pretty snippy with me and said, " fine, I'll give you your money and take place to get it fixed and let me know what they have to say." I agreed. When we got back to his facility, he went inside and came back out, gave me a cash refund, which I appreciated, and then he grabbed the receipt off of the trunk of my car for the work he "had done" the week before. The documentation he had given me from the previous week did not seem legit and I had notes written all over it. (I originally got to his building at 8:09 AM and at 8:20 AM on the documentation. It was printed what my new alignment was when in reality I didn't leave until about 9:30. Not sure how those numbers would make any sort of sense considering he still working on my car at 9 AM. It seems like false documentation to me, and the stats that if your car is veering off one way or another was never filled out.) So, I asked for my documentation back and he refused! Long story short Police actually ended up having to get involved and finally the man decided to cooperate. I can't believe I ever experienced this! Especially this being a new business and wanting to build a good rapport with the community. I would highly recommend NOT coming here!!!! I don't believe he is trained with working with Teslas even though he says that he is. read more
