Orange chicken fried rice and rice noodles
Andreanna N.

Came here on a Friday evening about 5. Lady that greeted us was super nice. My partner wanted egg fu yong unfortunately they only had a frozen pattie but he still said ok he will try it. I wanted to try the jalapeño chicken but it had been sitting there for so long it was so dark brown and looked soggy. She offered to make more orange chicken and said it would be roughly 5 minutes. Took maybe 15 because we waited for rice noodles as well. I love rice noodles and usual have them with a bit of seasoning kind of taste to it. These did not have it but still was pretty good I would have liked to see more vegetables in it. Orange chicken was amazing I would go back just for some orange chicken. We got 2 can sodas and I appreciated the variety of drinks that they had. We got 2 combinations egg fu yong a chicken egg roll 2 veggie egg rolls and 2 can sodas for $26. It was worth it and will return just won't order the egg fu tong again it was not that good due to being frozen and we usually get it when it's made fresh with shrimp.

Delicious freshly made food!!! Especially their orange chicken and beef broccoli! The sweet and sour soup is also delicious!! Surprisingly my stomach didn't hurt after we ate this food as usually it does!! That just tells me that it's clean and freshly made!!! Thank you kindly!!!

I come to this place when I have a doctor's appointment since it's nearby. The food here is delicious and the Thai tea is good too. Food is fresh. Would totally recommend.

Wonderful guys! Hardworking, fast service, and delicious food. Pros: -Cheap -Fast -Delicious -Vietnamese rice noodles instead of fried rice or regular noodles -Fantastic service -Variety -Accepts credit cards Cons: -Charge for using card -Parking lot is busy -Shrimp fried rice and menu items not great, go for what they already have

The reason why I decided to come here because I go to White Memorial often for my family and one day my kids were hungry so I decided to try this place since there's nothing really near by. The food was delicious!! It was very fresh and tasty. I wasn't really a fan of Chinese fast food until I found this place. I been to alot of Chinese fast food in East Los and this place is by far the best you can get in this area

This place is clean and lovely staff. The Chinese rice is always fresh with lots of flavor... but my favorite is the fried chicken..

We had two orders of slippery shrimp, kung pao chicken, eggplants with hot and spicy garlic sauce, juicy steamed dumplings, and pork fried rice. Overall, both restaurants in Chinatown and Pasadena provide great food quality. The ambience was cozy with dim lighting. Our round table had a wooden rotating tray. They have pictures of celebrities and politicians who've visited their restaurant. Service was relatively quick, but there was a 20-minute wait for the dumplings. Valet parking can get difficult when the lot gets full. A few cars entering the narrow driveway had to reverse out of the way to let others leave. The kung pao chicken was very tasty with a good amount of spice. I noticed that the slippery shrimp didn't taste as spicy as the portion from Pasadena. Reviews say that the spice is adjustable. Regardless. it tasted great as it came right off the pan. The pork fried rice was delicious with a savory flavor that didn't seem overpowering. I thought the juicy steamed dumplings were the weakest dish out of our whole order. There wasn't enough flavor and heat from the broth. I didn't try much of the eggplants, but they tasted adequate for me.

Anything you can eat you any night you don't have to cook is usually a great night out. This evening was no exception. Our waitress was kind and accommodating. Positive energy, drinks filled and smile that felt genuine. The ambiance of the restaurant was bar like, but with adequate seating for dining in. Everything was prepared wonderfully and had tremendous flavor. I recommend trying their Hui Tou, stuffed with pork or beef, pork and leek pancakes, they also have vegetarian options. Their pork shumai was delicious, xiao long bao's soup dumplings were flavorful. Delicious. I definitely need a second trip here to try their soups and more of their variety of dumplings.

Our go-to dishes are the cucumber salad (refreshing and perfectly crunchy), green scallion pancakes (especially good with the chili sauce), pork shumai (better than Din Tai Fung imo), and the spicy pork wontons. On our most recent visit, we tried the sesame noodles, and I've been daydreaming about them ever since. The staff is always friendly and attentive, the vibes inside are great, and there's a solid drink selection with cocktails, draft beer, and bottled options. And the price point? Outrageously reasonable, especially in this economy. Consistently delicious food, great service, and incredible value. Highly recommend!

The cumin lamb was flavorful and spicy. The Mao Cai was spicy, full of meat and the broth was tasty. The boiled fish was my second favorite - spicy and fish was not overcooked. It also appeared to me that the food tasted slightly better at the Alhambra location, but that may very well have been my bias. The restaurant workers looked more organized vs this location that has more of a traditional Chinese vibe, slightly tired building, not particularly clean, service feels a bit rushed and sloppy. We went there for Thanksgiving Dinner and it wasn't packed but we went at the opening time and the people kept coming. 90% looked Chinese which also speaks for the authenticity.

The highlights of the night were the celery root blini with crème fraîche and Ossetra caviar, the trout tartare, the duck sausage, and the grilled short ribs. And a special shoutout to the fried boneless chicken leg -- it was goddamn delicious! The wine list is exciting. It has some hard-to-find aged bottles. We scored a bottle of 2007 François Cotat Sancerre. Cotat is one of the most iconic Sancerre producers, and because his wines are built to age, finding a 2007 vintage on the menu here was a massive treat. While we didn't dive into the proper cocktail menu, my partner ordered the non-alcoholic Hojicha Orange Milk Punch, which was phenomenal, and judging by how beautiful the drinks at neighboring tables looked, I'd assume their cocktail program is strong. Service was stellar. Lisa, who helped us navigate the wine list, was lovely! She was incredibly generous, offering us a few complimentary pours of other wines to taste. Will definitely revisit to try other menu items and their cocktails!
