#8 Korean BBQ Beef & Thai BBQ Chicken
    Katie C.

Hole in a wall, more of a grab and go spot. I can see why it gets busy during lunch rushes. Definitely need to stop by more for lunch. #25 Pad Se Ew -so flavorful and a bang for your buck! You can really taste the wok heat. Noodles were bouncy. Saucy but not too wet. We ordered with shrimp. Shrimp was fresh, crisp with a snap. What more can you ask for. #8 Korean BBQ Beef & Thai BBQ Chicken -beef was a little chewier than I prefer but still really flavorful and tender enough. Chicken was juicy and well marinated. Chicken curry was good but not the best. I would stick to their other dishes.

Good food, great prices, pickup only, cash only. Start with the # 1, go double mac if you don't like burger toppings as salad (I don't mind it). Interior leaves a little too be desired, but I'm there to pickup my lunch & go, so....‍ Parking in the lot can be chaotic, best if you have a pal to circle the block while you go in to get the food. Staff is very focused & do their best to be friendly while very busy. I usually call in about 15 min ahead, but it can take longer when real busy.

Tasty food with large portions at a great price $ I ordered the Thai bbq chicken plate. It comes with fried rice and a salad, paired with the sweet sauce they use chef's kiss! I placed a large order for 8 ppl and the service was incredible. The gentleman that answered the phone was so helpful. The inside is small and parking can get tough so i recommend order for take out/pick up

Crispy , Golden Egg Rolls (Get the 3 piece..1 is not enough)

Located in a small plaza with a tricky one way parking lot lies a diamond in the rough. As you enter , your eyes get lost in the big pictured, outdated menu. The sound & smell of grill marks becomes intoxicating. A cop walks in, your body tenses up. "NEXT! How may I help you?"Breaks you away from your trance. I love this place! CASH ONLY. No dine in. Very busy due to deliciousness. pager provided so you can chill in your car until your order is ready. I advise calling in your order if you are in a rush. Egg rolls are a must try, you will find yourself willing to sit in rush hour traffic for the crunch itself ‍

Chow mein bbq short rib hawain chicken

Chow mein is 10/10z it has so much flavor that you don't need soy sauce. I called to order and it was ready on time. The short ribs are so good. Mac salad is different than ono Hawaiian bbq but still good. Place is tiny and no where to sit.

Is it Thai? Is it Deli? It's neither and both all at once. It speaks for itself when you roll into the parking lot of a shopping plaza and they have a security guiding cars in and out. Hawaiian style Mac salad short ribs with healthy amounts of meat and perfectly seasoned and cooked chicken. Too much food for one sitting I killed the Mac salad and some of the protein in the most popular #8, and made a meal out of the Leftover by adding some broccoli. Also had the beef pad see ew and was also delicious. A new favorite, Call ahead and go with a partner to jump out and take your food to go to a nearby park and enjoy some of that LA sunshine. CASH ONLY and a great value.

As always, delicious food. Even better... Now they offer a matcha green tea, which is an absolute favorite of mine! They also offer party trays but you have to ask them about it and how much. We called in ahead and got a half order of short ribs, some pad see ew and macaroni on the side and we had a feast. Only downside is cash only if they would only take zelle, this place would be perfect.

Decided to try a new spot while running errands in DTLA , here's what to know about this place. - Bad parking, it's located in a small shopping center thats get full quick and can be difficult finding a spot. - They take a while make the food since they have a lot of orders of carry out as well. So order ahead if you don't like waiting. -Great prices for what u get, my plate is only $10. Chicken was delicious however the pork felt kinda tough but was still edible. Mac was really good as well! -Canned soda was only $1 (cheapest iv come across any restaurant lol) -No sitting it's pretty much just order to go, it's fairly small inside Overall a really solid spot if you're looking for good portions without overspending, I will definitely come back to try other items!

Thai Deli's food is delicious and reasonably priced. They are fast. Cash only. You order your food, pay, and take it to go. They do not have seating to eat there. It is a very small place.

What is the Thai bbq chicken?

It's chicken in Thai style marinade sauce. I'd like to call it yellow chicken because I use curry powder as one of the main ingredient.

Yes..almost if the pan-friend menu, you can order vegetarians

The broth is flavorful, light, and non greasy. Comes with a lot of noodles that are delicious similar to the Lipton soup noodles. The matzo ball itself is pure perfection. It's the perfect soup that you can eat everyday, year round and you never get bored of it. Having recent stomach issues and suffering from acid reflux in the recent months this soup has been a lifesaver in helping me to reduce the number of flare ups. Helpful tip: If you have an upcoming colonoscopy/ endoscopy, I highly recommend purchasing just the broth itself in the mason jar. Trust me it will make the clear liquid diet much more easier because of how great the broth by itself tastes. I typically order a loaf of rye bread and it is the absolute best. The depth of flavor is incredible. It's perfect for sandwiches or even avocado toast and pairs perfectly with Langer's pastrami. Make sure to refrigerate it so it lasts longer. Thank you again Langer's for the delicious food and amazing service! Will definitely be back!

Unfortunately since I didn't see what the #19 looked like before I ordered; I believe it definitely jaded me. First off, the location is terrible. Look it's probably me, but it felt dangerous. I guess I am not used to places like that. Just everything made me feel uneasy while walking to Langer's. I read that the owner is talking to the mayor to address things.... In any case, I got in, got out and took my #19 to another location. I opened it up and it didn't look like any NYC pastrami sandwich I have ever seen. I guess this is the way it used to be before the NYC sandwiches started getting ridiculously huge? I took a bite and I did like the crusty rye bread. Unlike a lot of NYC places where the bread is just to hold the meat, this one was toasty and tasty. However when I ate this sandwich, the coleslaw and Russian dressing dominated the taste. Was it good? Yes. Was it the "one" sandwich to eat if you are in Los Angeles? I don't think so. I guess we are so jaded with huge pastrami or fancy new sandwiches that this just seems so underwhelming. Add to the hyperbole about it being THE ONE to get and it just falls flat in the comparison. It's a good sandwich and if I ate for the last 30 years, I'd probably feel the hype was justified.

Sandwich was massive, however, it was mostly lettuce. Didn't notice from the pictures that the sandwiches aren't very balanced between meats and veggies. It's my personal preference for some more balance or flavor in a sandwich, peppers/onions/seasonings. Honestly, Jersey Mike's seasons their veggies better. I will say the bread at this deli was a notch above Jersey Mike's which is definitely a plus as good bread can make or break a sandwich. Mozzarella sticks were great, although they were normal sticks nothing out of the ordinary but I've definitely had worse sticks (looking at you Prince St Pizza...) so I'd recommend them if fried cheese is your jam! Service counter young lady was nice, she was quick and helpful with her suggestions. Small store, kind of looks like a convenience store and then the deli counter is on the right of the entrance and cashier is in the back. Easy ordering process. Parking is in the back, limited spaces. No inside seating available from what I saw, just counter to order and that's it. Grab and go type of spot for sure. Place was OK - if I lived closer, I would think it's an ok spot to come more often but I would not go out of my way to come.
