The food was absolutely amazing! I order their seafood combo, which included breaded tilapia fish, bread shrimp, coleslaw, fried rice, and a lemon wedge. The food was perfectly crispy not too crunchy and not too soft. The food comes with tartar sauce, although I dnt believe it's home made, nor is it mentioned to be. Next time I'll have to ask. The dining area is a bit outdated and could use an update, however, that's not the main reason we're here. Overall, I'd rate the food a 5 and the dining area a 2, service was a 5 ( owner, was extremely nice). Good lil hole in the wall (just a saying, not literally).

Fish boat with Tatar sauce and Thai ice coffee

The coworkers & myself order some food to enjoy together. I myself ordered the fish boat along side with it a Thai ice coffee while my co workers ordered another boat, and a plate! The service is fast if you call in your order or if you go in person. The place is small and inside a small plaza across the hospital, so if you're looking for some decent good fried seafood, I would recommend this place!

The Shrimp with Hot Garlic Sauce from Fish Only is absolutely delicious. Highly recommended!

The Shrimp with Hot Garlic Sauce from Fish Only is fire! Shrimp were fresh, perfectly cooked, and the sauce had the right balance of heat and garlic without being overpowering. Packed with flavor and not greasy--definitely one of my go-to orders. Highly recommend if you're into bold, spicy seafood.

    New menu and prices!

Fish Only now has a new menu with new prices. I come here often for lunch and to take dinner home for my family. I've tried most plates and they never disappoint. All plates are made to order and are fresh!

been coming here since around 1998. the food remains consistent, now that's impressive! Super tasty rice, Great crunch and taste on the batter. I love that they butterfly the shrimp and remove the little dark line. The fish, no matter which one you decide is always cooked right, I've never had a dry piece. I remember the man with the short hair when we were both kids. My dad used to buy food from him, and now I buy food from his son. The price is right and the portions are generous. Thank you for being so consistent over the years, I truly have great memories of my parents and I coming here, as well as picking up food for my crew back in the day when I used to work for George Rice & Sons up on Soto & Valley. The crew loved this food, and so do I.

The space is very small, and since we weren't familiar with the area, we almost missed the entrance--but we're so glad we didn't. We asked Edgar for his recommendations, and he guided us beautifully. Little did we know, he's the genius behind the menu. We ordered everything to go and started with the mushroom taco and the mahi mahi taco. Both were simple yet incredibly flavorful, and the tortillas were outstanding. Next up were the fried shrimp tacos--perfectly crunchy, with avocados and salsas that truly elevate each bite. Once we got home (and after a much-needed nap), we dug into the aguachile, fish ceviche, and shrimp cocktail. At first, the aguachile seemed a bit peppery, but once we discovered the perfect bite--shrimp, onion, avocado, and habanero salsa--it quickly became our second favorite. The fish ceviche was fresh and well-balanced, but the real star of the night was the shrimp cocktail. We're already looking forward to our next visit to LA so we can bring some of these dishes home for the rest of our family to try. Correas is absolutely worth the stop.

The food was delicious! I tried a shrimp taco and a tostada de aguachile. The only issue I had with this place was that it took what felt like about 20-25mins to receive my food. (In their defense the tortillas were hechas a mano *by hand* - could be I caught them at a bad time?) I'll have to come back another time to try more of their items and see if the service is any more prompt.

We were…read moreable to call ahead earlier in the morning and ask if we could be on the wait list or reserve a table. They told us they could reserve a table for us at 6pm. We originally were hoping for 7 or 7:30, but based on how busy and popular this place is I can see why they said no. Come early and get seated right away and there's still ample parking in their parking lot. By the time we left at 7:30p, the lot was packed and people circling around hoping to snag a spot from folks leaving. The restaurant is pretty large and has about 3 rooms with different size tables and booths. No matter the size of your party, there's a table that will accommodate. The staff were very nice and attentive and FAST! We had our food out probably 15 min after we put in our order! Now...on to the food. We ordered one of the set menus for our party of 7 and it was spot on! As you can see in the pictures we had all the "classics". Our set meal could easily be enjoyed by at least 10 people. We had so many leftovers! The food was all well prepared and sufficiently seasoned. Portions of each dish was plentiful and everyone will be able to get enough to satisfy. My favorite items: lobster (duh!), kung pao chicken, pork chops, and shaking beef. The seafood soup is a great starter, and don't forget to add a little vinegar and pepper! Great restaurant in the SGV. This location is much bigger than their Rowland Heights restaurant, but the food is exactly the same. This is a great alternative to the popular Newport Seafood, so don't sleep on this place!

Came at 530 pm on a tuesday, and there wasen't anyone here yet. Afterwards it filled up quickly!! The main thing I dont like about this place is they dont have the prices on what your ordering. Which I'll get too at the end. Like any other Chinese restaurant, their menu is super extensive. I love how they have a little bit of everything. And its very well organized too. We ordered the following: 1. Crab and fish maw soup- this soup was amazing. It was just the right temp. Got me sweating. Can easily feed 12 people. Great amount of maw. The consistency is just right. Tasted so good!! 2. Small lobster special- on a bed of noodles. It was about 5 lbs. Cooked well. Could do without. Basically flavors. And it was expensive!! About $30 a lb. So this one dish cost basically the same amount as all the other dishes. Which was just too much. If I knew it was that much I would definitely not have ordered it. 3. Walnut shrimp- not the best walnut shrimp I've had. But it was ok. 4. Garlic shrimp- this shrimp dish was ok. Too many bell peppers and onions. It was just ok. 5. Mongolian beef- flavors were not that great. Very tender though. Could've been better. 6. Sea trout- this was amazing!! I love the sauce. Fish was so soft and tender. The heat, the spice, the sweetness. Some of that sauce in white rice was just perfection. It was really really good. Best dish of what we ordered. 7. Kung pao chicken- this was a really good dish. Crispy bits of chicken. But so soft and tender inside. I love the sauce that it was in. It was by far one of the highlights of the meal. It was good food. Price for everything (except the lobster) was pretty good. Food tasted amazing for the most part. Typical Chinese customer service. Pay at the front. Massively large portions. Solid authentic Chinese food.

Dried bread and dipping sauces were brought while we perused the menu. Our food came quick. First was the chicken soup we ordered as an appetizer. It was delicious! Warning - the red salsa side dish is super hot. We tested it first, added a small splash, and loved it. Next was a sliced beef and marinated onion sandwich. It was well filled and really tasty, our favorite of the night. The green salsa that comes with it is a perfect compliment - savory and spicy like a molé, but not too hot. We will order this again. Then came the beef heart, not a dish for everyone, but a personal favorite. Seasoned with a great dry rub and cooked on wood skewers, it was on par with the best yakitori I have ever had. What made it even better, however, were the sides. The hominy was perfectly chewy and seasoned. Mixed with the green salad, the potato chunks, and some of the green and white dipping sauces, well, it was an excellent compliment to the dense beefiness of the roasted heart chunks. OTOH, the salsa that comes with the beef heart, while full of chopped scallions and such, was far too sour for my taste. It was like pure lime juice. I tasted it and set it aside, only adding a few bits into my mix of sides. The final nice touch was the price. Total for three dishes was $40 before tax and tip. We will be back. The closest public parking lot is a couple blocks to the north, but we found a metered spot right out front. I didn't like that the meter needed a credit card or app, but that's the way things are going.
