First time here. Really friendly service and even at 4pm it started to get busy. We ordered 1lb of garlic & butter shrimp and 1lb of Cajun shrimp. And signed up for their membership for $10 and got a free cluster of snow crab today and we get 1lb of shrimp next visit. Really good deal! Food was good. Will be back!

HOW FREAKING CUTE. Seafood boil, without breaking the bank. You pick and choose what you would like. This is so fun for friends and family. I loved the fun behind eating here. The service was quick and easygoing. The servers were really attentive and really did their best to make sure we were well cared for. They explained how the process worked and it was a great time! Definitely a must visit! I can't wait to come back!

Adrian and his team rocks! Good service! Even better food! And all the stuff they provided to make sure we had a clean eating experience is top tier! Can't wait to eat here again! Also, get the Cajun chowder!

Food: 4/5 Great boil, the mussels are so good. The regular French fries are my go to. Also the fire on the tounge is insanely spicy! That sauce is a good option as a side sauce! Clams, crayfish, potatoes and corn are all a must try! Service: 5/5 The staff is great, very fast, very accommodating. Great staff! Ambiance: 5/5 Very clean, nice restrooms, plenty of space.

The first time I heard about Grab A Crab was at a Yelp event. I didn't get a chance to drop by their booth, but it was lively and crab plushie was cute. I was at Atlantic Times Square in Monterey Park. I saw them there so here I am trying them out. Free parking with no time limits at the square. Arrived here for late dinner. Not too many people at the time. Ambiance was nice with good inside space. Staff was welcoming, cordial, and helpful. Menu offers Combos for 2 or 4, Seafood Lovers' Combo, Build Your Own (BYO) Seafood Boil, appetizers, sides, and drinks. They even have a kid's menu. I love seafood so I opted for Combo for 2 for $49.99. I picked 1 lb of head on shrimp and 1 cluster of snow crab legs (extra cost) for my seafood choices and 3 appetizers (seafood chowder, garlic bread, sweet potato fries). Combo also came with 4 sausages, 2 potatoes, and 1 corn. I got one complimentary bib. Gloves and napkins were in a dispenser at my disposable. I got 1 coin to try for a free plushie that could be traded for a pound of seafood. I kept the coin as a souvenir. Here's my take on the combo... Some head on shrimps with shell were mushy which was a disappointment because shrimp is my favorite seafood. They also varied in size... some smaller than others. I understand it goes by pound, but I would have preferred all my shrimps to be similar sizes. Snow crab legs had empty gaps inside the shell in other words not much meat. I also didn't get a full set of cluster which was a bummer because I paid an extra $4 for it. They gave me other parts to compensate for the last leg. Size of cluster was a bit small. Won't get this upgrade again. Delicious seafood chowder was creamy with perfect seasoning. Amazing garlic bread was toasted and buttered nicely. Sweet potato fries tasted sweet and not oily. As for the sausages, potatoes, and corn, they were fresh and great adds. Seafood boil sauce was rich and buttery, but just a tad salty. I appreciate the robust blend of spices along with garlic and onion were emphasized at every bite though. All in all, combo was okay and experience was fun, but not sure if it was worth the price. I also got one peach lemonade... unfortunately, it had a weird taste to it... won't get again. Will I be back? Maybe... only if their seafood are more meatier.

Terrible take‑out experience at Grab a Crab, would NOT RECOMMENDED. When I opened my order at home, I was immediately disappointed. The shrimp were clearly not fresh. Many had dark discoloration, rubbery texture and did not taste right. The lime wedges included were old, yellowed and dried‑out, looked like they had been cut ages ago. The fried oysters came with an extremely thick batter, it turned soggy and unpleasant to eat. No dipping sauce was provided at all. On top of the food quality issues, multiple items from my order were missing. I paid for a coke that never showed up. They also forgot basic necessities: no gloves and no napkins were included with the seafood meal. For a seafood restaurant, these are basic expectations. Very frustrated with both the poor food freshness and careless order preparation. Waste of money.

Very cool spot within walking distance of our hotel. When we sat down our waitress gave us two coins for the game machine in the corner. If you pull a stuffed animal you can get free food. I thought this was very cool. We ordered the dinner for two which was 49.99 for this. It was good but needed more sausage and sides. The flavor needed a little something. It was missing something. Very spacious inside the restaurant and very clean. I also liked how if you take a picture and tag them you get a free keychain. Food was good overall! Definitely give them a try.

Probably my best restaurant find this year! I was really blown away by Grab a Crab when it came to flavor, quality and portions. We'd been to Boiling Crab multiple times, but the sauce tends to be overwhelmingly loaded with sodium. After trying Grab a Crab, we loved how it wasn't as salty and the seafood quality was also so much better. We got the Combo for 2, and we thought this was perfect for us when it came to value. For the sides we got Cajun fries, chicharron and garlic bread. Overall, we enjoyed everything we got - I don't think there was a single thing I don't dislike. But I was especially really impressed by the chicharron. Based on a lot of recent reviews they did not serve alcohol for a while, but when we went they had it!

First time time coming to Grab a Crab and it was delicious! My friend and I shared a pound of deveined shrimp and added 2 corns and 1/2 sausages. We did the house sauce, medium and really enjoyed it. We also got sweet potatoes fries with ranch. Our other friend got a pound of regular shrimp and with the same sauce on the side and rice. We all really enjoyed it! The service was fast and good. The prices were decent compared to other places we've tried because usually a seafood boil is pricey. The ambience is nice, plenty of seating. It's a plaza and there's street parking.

Grab A Crab made celebrating my sister-in-law's birthday truly special. I really appreciated that they offered both reservations and a waitlist, making planning easy. The service was attentive, friendly, and welcoming from start to finish. The seafood was packed with excellent flavor, and everything tasted fresh. The only minor drawback was the garlic noodles, which were a little overcooked. In addition, Elva was awesome! Overall, we had an excellent dining experience and will gladly return. Highly recommend this spot for delicious seafood, celebrations, outstanding hospitality, and memorable meals with family and friends. Five stars without hesitation because everyone left happy, satisfied, smiling, and eager back.

It has been a while since I've been to a Cajun shop. The service was phenomenal. I would give a 5 stars for that. Parking is easy to find, since you have plethora of parking downstairs. This place have plenty of seating, and you are given a coin per person to try out their claw machine. It is pretty cool. The food was pretty good overall, I didn't have any issues, the seasoning was pretty good and standard. The only thing is that I wasn't sure why the rice took forever to come out, it is not like they didn't plan on cooking rice that day? I was hoping to try out some of the rice and sauce towards the beginning, but it is OK, the staff was really accommodating about that, there's not much that they could do about It. The ambience of the restaurant is chill, expected to be a casual spot amenities included gloves at the table and a bib.

For the price of food and the amount you get, I can't complain! The flavor of their own seafood boil sauce (boom sauce?) is a standard seafood boil flavor, it's legit. The flavors don't overwhelm you and make you wanna go to the toilet right away, you know what I mean? The family pack comes with 3 corn on the cob, 3 sausage pieces and 3 potatoes (like a medium sized potato!) it was good but I wish the seafood had time to sit in the sauce, you can tell the food was dumped on the sauce. We had to fight to scoop some sauce onto our mussels cause the bag was so full of food- what a good problem to have. Maybe the sauce is a bit thin? Maybe that's why it didn't stick to the food? Service was good, the ladies were attentive and professional. The decor looked like this place was known to be a bar- I mean there's a huge bar to the side. There's even a second floor but no one was seated there so it doesn't look used. Cute decor with the sea theme. Not happy about their toilet in the women's restroom. There's a a sign saying to please not dispose the toilet seat covers in the toilet cause it could clog it up. I was being a nice person and went to the trouble of respecting their wishes. It was gross as I was being careful not to touch the peed parts of the toilet seat cover. Don't judge me, only God can judge me! Come here to feed your family and friends at a very reasonable price! And if you're a lady you're gonna have to hover while you pee if you don't want to deal with the toilet seat cover disposal issue...

Very disappointing experience after coming here for years…read more We've been coming here for years, which is why it was especially disappointing to see such a decline in both the food quality and the service. The food simply did not taste the way it has in the past. The quality and flavor were noticeably different, and unfortunately, it wasn't the experience we've come to expect from this restaurant. The service was even more disappointing. My mother-in-law has an accent and asked for a fork approximately four times. One of the servers literally shook her head "no" at her rather than simply helping her or explaining. That was incredibly disrespectful and uncomfortable to witness. There were also several interactions that left us feeling uncomfortable. One server came to our table speaking Spanish and making jokes, which felt inappropriate and made us wonder whether our diverse table was being treated differently. The busser also placed our drinks inside the lazy Susan while refilling our water, even though the drinks had already been used. He then had to reach in and move the glasses around so we could get our own drinks back. It was just another example of how inattentive the service was. The dim sum service was also disappointing. Servers repeatedly came around with the same few options, and we only saw a variety of dumplings/dim sum at the very beginning. When we asked about the flavors on the custard cart, the server would only tell us "mango" and seemed annoyed that we continued asking about the other flavors instead of simply explaining the options. Getting our bill was another ordeal. We asked several times, and when someone finally brought it, we literally had to call after the server and tell him not to leave the room and to please bring us the bill. Then came the most disappointing part. Our bill was around $300, and I left a $15 tip. I have personally worked in food service for many years, so I understand how important tipping is and I don't take it lightly. However, based on the quality of the food and the level of service we received, I felt that $15 was already generous. The waiter actually went to the manager and complained that the tip was too low. When I explained my reasoning, I was told that the tip should have been 18%. I offered to increase it to $20, but I firmly explained that I did not feel the service warranted an 18% tip. A tip is earned through good service; it should not be treated as an automatic entitlement or something a customer is expected to pay regardless of the experience. After being loyal customers for years, this experience was extremely disappointing. Between the decline in food quality, the inattentive and at times disrespectful service, and then being confronted about the amount of our tip, we will unfortunately not be returning. For a nearly $300 meal, we expected significantly better food, hospitality, and professionalism.
