This place was a huge disappointment. Saw the good reviews and thought id take a chance. Specifically went there around opening to get "fresh" Chinese food and instead got what looked, and tasted like the left-overs from the day before. 5 mins into my meal i could not continue to eat the rest of my food. Saw that they were mixing a fresh new batch of food with the old batch that i suspected was left-overs from the previous day. The chow mein tasted rubbery and dry, orange chicken was soggy and lukewarm, and the fried chicken tasted like it was reheated. The cleanliness here was also suspect. They give you a big red tray with your meal and it felt very sticky. Did not feel like it was washed. The tables were dirty and sticky at opening and visible were several grease stains on many of the tables. The customer service here was non existent. Felt like i was being rushed by the server. The cashier lady would not stop staring at me as i ate. I felt awkward and uncomfortable. This too contributed to me not finishing my meal. Ive definitely had better mom and pop chinese food. This one here is a "No-go" for me. This is not your typical neighborhood Chinese restaurant. It is family-owned and operated, with a caring staff and hard working employees. They have some of the best portions for the money on this side of town. The smoothies are also very large and come in numerous flavors, with or without boba. I always go for the orange chicken with chow mein and it never leaves me hungry. It's sweet but not too much sauce and I never leave with a stomach ache. Which brings me to the matter of cleanliness.. I feel very safe eating here and I have a sensitive stomach to begin with. Not a Time has gone by when I haven't seen them wiping down the tables and/or mopping something. They have bathrooms for customers only, and they also have free Wi-Fi available if you dine in. Came in on a Thursday morning. Place was clean and I felt welcomed. Nice selection of food. They serve thick noodle chow-mein which is a plus in my book. I spent about $8 for rice+ chow-mein and 2 items(they give generous servings). The jalapeño chicken blew me away, it was delicious. The bbq pork was ehh. They throw in a free egg roll that tasted fresh and evenly cooked. I definitely recommend this place and will be back for more. read more

Stopped by here during one of my lunch breaks and was pleased that it wasn't yet another "Panda Express" type of Chinese food restaurant. The restaurant itself is pretty darn clean (especially being located in LA) and there was enough tables for people to sit down and take a quick bite. The staffs here are friendly and are pretty darn generous with their portions. I ordered the combo meal with chow mein, hot wings and orange chicken. The lady behind the counter not only gave me a heaping amount of the orange chicken, she even topped it off a second time--talk about generous amount! I wasn't even able to finish my meal. If you were to order something like this at any other chain restaurant, I'm pretty sure you're going to have to a second combo. Typical crappy quality food, and weird customers. They don't serve any dish that's not fattening, or filled with low quality meat. I can't believe I used to eat crap like this all the time. High calorie, low quality. The fork is cheap flimsy piece of crap (cheapest you can buy, not even a decent disposable fork). I mean, it's not worse than other Chinese fast food in the area, but DEFINITELY not a 4 star restaurant by any stretch. You get what you payed for. I payed a little under 7.00 for a combo of noodles and ride with orange chicken and beef broccoli. The orange was just fat that was fried and the noodles were extremely greasy and the rice was band. There was no carros or peas in either of them that are usually in them to give them flavor. The green Booths were dirty and greasy. The cashier didn't speak much English so she came off as rude but I'm assuming she just can't communicate in English. read more

Great place to eat your traditional American Chinese food. Clean and fast. I would say huge portions are given in your to go plates. We ordered all chicken (teriyaki, fried, orange, etc). The only thing I wasn't too happy was the wonton soup to bland, like it was cooked just with water, no flavor and shrimp fried rice too dry (I have tried from Ocha Thai, better here).
