DO NOT EAT HERE!!!! Unlike my normal behavior, I did not Yelp this place firsthand. Having numerous favorite Chinese places, decided on this one. Expansive menu options, I chose the three entree combination plate. I chose chicken chow mein, almond chicken, beef pan fried noodles, and came with fried rice and an egg roll. It must be noted that the only cooked to temp item on my plate was the egg roll and was nice and hot. My review is based on my considerable cooking ability. The chicken chow mein was inedible. It was clearly obvious that NOTHING in this entree was fresh and was evidently prepared a number of days or maybe a week before today, almost cold in temperature. It was mushy, veggies were limp, chicken tasted old. It was truly awful. Next is the almond chicken. Same prep as the chow mein as the zucchini was old, overcooked, and mushy. Chicken was also old tasting. Next was the beef noodles. The beef was tough and leathery. The noodles were NOT made from scratch and were definitely from a bag of dry noodles prepared a number of days previously. Next is the "fried rice". I could tell the rice was prepared with a rice cooker with very few vegetables and egg with a few dashes of soy sauce. It was old tasting reheated in a microwave. This place has literally the worst Chinese food I have ever had from takeout. When it was delivered and we tasted it, I was appalled that I spent $60 (with delivery from a food delivery company which ran about $5-$6) to eat something that only halfway resembled Chinese. I had to put it in a pan and fix it up myself. I ordered out because I was having bad anxiety and really didn't want to cook but wanted to feed my family. Unfortunately, I ended up cooking anyway. I should give them my recipe. However, when I called them and found out that they (and every other Chinese restaurant) didn't deliver, the person I talked to was very friendly and helpful and actually pointed me in the direction of the food delivery company I used. We ordered chicken pan noodles, chicken fried rice with wonton soup, general Tsos chicken with fried rice, cashew chicken with fried rice, wontons, and egg rolls. There was SO much food! What I don't like though is the cashier, she seems very unhappy to do her job but beside there are no complaints and it's great food. I went to the one in Midland Texas before and the first time I went there my food was cold when I got it, then I came to the one in Odessa, and my food was definitely not cold it was hot and fresh I definitely definitely recommend coming here they have plenty of options. they have a big menu and great options. My favorite things I would have to say is the beef pan fried noodles, fried rice, and the beef and broccoli. This is my families go to place for Chinese. I love the Mandarin Chicken. My daughter always gets the Beef & Broccoli. Their fried shrimp is divine--breaded with panko. Egg rolls are delicious. VERY reasonably priced. Four adults & 2 children for lunch for $22. Can't beat that. read more
