Excellent fresh made noodles and dumplings. Price to portion size fantastic. A little hidden back off of Faudree but worth the hunt.

4/3/23 Been in…read moreOdessa FOR THE FIRST TIME, a mere 24 hours. Being from Hawaii with Asian restaurants everywhere, I have a certain level of expectation walking into an establishment regardless of where it's located. I am going to CONFIRM EVERY SINGLE REVIEW that talked about the broth. LEGIT and can hold it's own in Hawaii or CA in my opinion. We also ate the Shaken beef with fried rice and tried the crispy omelette on the menu. I love Thai omelettes and most restaurants do not have this particular entree on the menu. Thai omelettes are more of an airy, fluffier consistency. Thus one was crunchy /crispy and was flavorful. For dessert we tried the Vietnamese flan. Not your typical idea of a "flan" , this was lighter pudding over ice. It had a very light coffee flavor taste to it. This is a keeper.

I ordered a combination banh mi sandwich and combination vermicelli bowl for lunch delivery here…read moreand it was both interesting and just ok. The banh mi had no flavors resembling a real banh mi. It didn't taste bad just not like a banh mi. It could also use a lot more filling especially vegetables. The meat amount was decent but the vegetables were severely lacking. The vermicelli bowl was the opposite situation as the banh mi; the flavors were more authentic but it was not very tasty. The vermicelli bowl tasted very watered down, like someone actually poured a bunch of water over the bowl after cooking it, even with the sauce on the side. Unfortunately, even though there are not many pho restaurants in Midland/Odessa and I want to be fair, this place needs to step their game up.

Food was excellent. Celebrated my son's graduation, with family and we all got something different…read moreand it was all delicious! Service was quick and attentive. We had two servers and we were well taken care of. Spacious, can accommodate large parties and the restaurant was full on a Tuesday evening!

This place got good reviews and we were stopping here for the night so decided to try it out. The…read morereviews said it was BYOB so we stopped on the way for a bottle of Cab. But then on the menu they had both beer and wine. Hmmm.... The gal at the hostess stand was very nice and struck up a conversation with us when we arrived and when we paid our bill. Alineth was our server and was also very pleasant and was good about giving us recommendations. Menu prices are very reasonable. They immediately brought us a basket of garlic dinner rolls that were warm and delicious. My only complaint was it was just the two of us and we were given a huge basket of 9 hamburger-bun-sized rolls. We both agreed it was a bit wasteful and there were quite a few tables of two that only ate 1, maybe 2 leaving at least 5 to be tossed. Our entrees came with salads and they were fresh with yummy croutons and tasty dressing. Hubby ordered the trio (lasagna, chicken parm and fettuccini alfredo). Huge portions but he said it he only found two bites of lasagna and it was buried in the fettuccini noodles of the chicken parm on one side and alfredo on the other. The chicken was hard to find as it was buried under a lot of cheese. The sauce was tomatoey but not much flavor otherwise. Wishing for a red pepper flake or something. I had a shrimp and scallop dish the my server recommended because I asked for something spicy. I saw it had red peppers but it was not the flakes, it was red bell peppers. Again the portion was huge and both entrees were nice and hot. In the end we wish there was a bit more flavor in each dish. We ended the evening with the lemoncello cake - delicious! The restaurant was decorated really nice and was cozy and clean. A couple serving issues: we brought a bottle of wine with us and it took 3 requests to finally get a corkscrew. Never once were the dishes removed from the table. We had to push our salad dishes off to the side to make room for our entrees, we even told her we were done with the salads and enjoyed them. Keep in mind we also still had the huge basket of bread. And then when our cake came out she watched us stack plates and make room for it and never removed a single dish. The atmosphere and wine were nice after a long day of driving...we were hoping for better overall dining experience.
