My family and I love this spot, we are regulars here for a few years now the spicy pork ribs are killer here! They hook it up in this place! Like either you could feed 2-3 of your peoples here or you'll live off one plate for a couple days. Depending on who is serving when you come in of course. I came home and me and my husband and son started eating. I'm one of those people who try to avoid eating anything with the flavor enhancer MSG (monosodium glutamate) due to some unpleasant physical symptoms. If I had known beforehand that most of their menu items contain MSG, I would have avoided coming here for the first time to try their highly rated food. Other reviewers have mentioned the bulging food container and it's true, but I've been to other places that do the same and their takeout containers are bigger and the prices are about the same. After trying their two-item combo, the taste was okay but I began to feel uneasy, and I suspected maybe it was because of the oily preparation of the food, or the very odd taste of the diet Pepsi (I confirmed the odd taste with my friend who agreed with me), but then I read through their takeout menu and saw something that surprised me. Out of about 40 items, all but three items, the orange chicken, the egg roll and the steamed rice, contained MSG. The mixed vegetables may also have been MSG free, but it doesn't state that on the menu. Although the smiling lady at the front serving me was very nice, she didn't speak to me but made hand signals so I thought she couldn't speak at all... but she's fine, she speaks, I'm guessing, a Chinese dialect. Sorry, but I don't speak the language. I can't return to a restaurant that was hotter inside than the outside air, unless I want to drink some odd tasting diet Pepsi and eat a one-item combo of steamed rice, egg roll and orange chicken. I'll stick to my favorite places in other parts of town that don't use MSG. If you don't mind MSG flavoring your food, and if you order the two-item combo or three-item combo and check in through Yelp, they give you a free small soda. read more

I brought a couple plates from here home after work, we had the orange chicken, kung pao chicken, beef broccoli and teriyaki chicken. The orange chicken and beef broccoli were my family's favorites, I was impressed that my normally picky 4 yr old just devoured them! The orange chicken was flavored just right and I liked that the broccoli wasn't overcooked and limp like you sometimes get at Panda. I would have liked some more spice in the kung pao chicken -- a lot more actually, it was sort of weird because there were visibly a lot of those dried red chilis in it, but they didn't seem to impart their spice into the dish. The teriyaki chicken was about what you'd expect from anywhere, I got it as safety dish for the kids (although they mostly went for the orange chicken). The chow mein and fried rice that came with them were on par with what you'd expect as well. I think what sets this place apart is that you get a lot of food compared to other take out places -- I liked that they had to smash down the lid of the box to get it to close! The beef w/potato has a hint of sweet in the sauce (almost tasting a little like ketchup), but it was good. Hey, who doesn't mind ketchup with their potatoes, right? The green bean chicken had really fresh long beans & moist chicken. The sauce wasn't over the top. I prefer when places let the ingredient shine & not smother it in overpowering sauce. Steamed rice was actually slightly dry for me, but since they had the potato beef sauce spilling into the rice compartment, it wasn't too bad. I actually didn't see the party rooms when I went in. I only went into the fast food section. It totally doesn't even appear that there would be a party room/banquet section. Food is good enough for me to eventually make it back here. I saw them refresh their food supplies 3 times during my dine-in time, so don't worry that your food has been sitting there! You get a large amount of food for the price, a 1 item combo (fried rice chow mean and 1 other item) costs $4.95 & a 2 item combo (same as first but with 2 more items) costs $5.95. If you check in on Yelp you get a free small drink! I would only suggest getting the free drink if you're taking out, dining in, although the small drink is free, refills are 50 cents and can quickly add up to more than the cost of a large drink (1.89$) the service is pleasant and friendly and they try their absolute best to be quick getting your food. read more

"Orange chicken" aka orange breading was exactly that orange covered breading with a spec of chicken.
