Ordered online around 7pm on a Saturday night through their website and had delivered. They said should be here around 7:55pm...so I'm bored and waiting as I type this.....Ordered, the pu pu platter, large shrimp in garlic sauce and the Mongolian beef. I think I may have ordered a thin noodle dish house style but not sure about it now! Lol. Will be interesting to see what shows up now. If I did that is way too much food. Wow, food was here by like 7:20-7:25ish. Things that taste as expected, Chicken on a stick, beef on a stick, but it was pretty tender, crab rangoon, Mongolian beef, garlic shrimp. The just ok were the eggrolls, chicken legs, battered shrimp. Nothing was over the top delicious or a stand out, but it was all as to be expected and came in the fabulous reusable containers with lids, kudos. I enjoy take out from China wok. The order is always correct and the food is delivered hot. (Mind you, I live 5 min up the street from them). They do take awhile with the food, yet that does not bother me. For others that might not sit well. Try there steamed pork dumplings that come with a yummy sauce. read more

This was my "third time's a charm" visit. From previous times, the fried rice was good, although not consistent...under-cooked once. I did notice they use "filler" items a lot, but thought I'd try one more time. This time, the fried rice was fine, however I ordered the sauteed string beans...very disappointing. The menu says "sauteed string beans"...that's it...and 1/2 of the dish was slices of zucchini...which I can't stand. I called to let them know, and the guy who answered the phone didn't say a thing...no offer to re-do or credit, no "I'm sorry"...nothing. I mentioned that if they are going to make half a dish with a different ingredient than what's on the menu, they should add it to the menu or at least tell people about it. Food was fresh however it was so salty it was barely edible. I was super disappointed as I was craving good Chinese food.

Just ordered from there tonight. . .thought I'd finally try it after many years of living nearby. Egg roll was okay, but somewhat bland. Szechuan Chicken had very little flavor and had no "heat" at all. Also, the vegies in the dish were all overcooked any mushy. With so many other options nearby, I would not return here. read more

Super Rude and incompetent. Ordered on the app 1 hour in advance and repaid. When I walked in and they were all sitting around and food was not made. They clearly forgot about my order and were yelling at each other in Chinese. The owner refused to give me my money back and I left. Avoid the aggravation and go elsewhere. read more

My husband and I have Chinese food every Monday so I have been trying various places within 15 mins of us in search of the best food. Compared to the other 3, the fried rice here at China Wok is my favorite. Especially since they have chili oil! Unfortunately the Kung pao chicken wasn't to my husbands liking. But I also really enjoyed their egg drop soup. read more

YUM! Little hidden gem in a strip mall. This is def a go to takeout or delivery spot for a night in. It's so hard to find a place that has better-than-decent everything and everything we had here was really tasty! Honey chicken, sesame chicken, beef lo mein, and house fried rice. I'm a huge Chinese food lover! I was craving some hot and sour soup the other night since it's been so cold here in AZ, and found this place by a random search. They had a huge variety of items on their menu and so many authentic dishes to choose from. I went with the beef lo mein(soft noodles) hot and sour soup, and cashew chicken. The soup was perfect! Hot, sour, tofu, mushrooms, bamboo shoots, egg drops, and much more. Some of the best hot and sour soup I've had in a long time!! The beef lo mein was loaded with beef and very soft and tasty noodles, the cashew chicken loaded with chicken and variety of veggies. Over all I was so happy with this place! I ordered the food to go and it came with rice, and fortune cookies:) the restaurant it self is very family oriented, small, and traditional. The staff was so friendly and polite. Thanks! read more

Moved to this vicinity 3 years ago looking for a decent Chinese food that wasn't going to break the bank but have the usual meals. The eggrolls were fresh! And NOT a "spring roll"! We also ordered chicken fried rice, General Tso's chicken, Hunan Beef, and order of cream cheese puffs - chunks of meat, fresh-crunchy veggies, tastes like homemade sauces...and the staff was very friendly! Ordered the egg drop soup and fried rice qs a late dinner for myself. The people were really nice and the service was very fast, I barely had to wait. The food isn't a culinary masterpiece but nothing was overseasoned (like what most places do) and it tasted pretty good. Overall, 4 for food and 5 for service. read more

I Live/work in the area and to be honest this place devalues the whole entire neighborhood the food tastes like cigarettes and the place is a health hazard all I have to say is one word and one word only. YUCKY my planet planet has way better food read more

Oy...picked up my take out order & brought home a major disappointment. Not only is it lacking in anything remotely edible; the "cook" in the kitchen was working with food out of plastic tubs like you use to store your holiday decorations. I truly was amazed this place has not been shut down. How it has almost 4 stars scares the bee Jesus out of me. read more

Customer Service Is HORRIBLE!!! I have been a faithful customer for 4 years and order frequently. They forgot one of my fried rice orders and when I called they said it was a system glitch and wanted me to pay another 6 dollars for another one. I told them it was their fault that they forgot to charge me but when i ordered it he told me "yes you did order it." I told him the right thing to do would be to give me another rice since they screwed up and he told me he did not care if they lost a longtime customer over a 6 dollar order! Worse meal ever; here's why: Shrimp in Lobster Sauce: without a hint of lobster in it. Could better be described as a Soup. Major part of this dish was a very clear, thick substance like pure egg white. There were 2 lonely shrimp floating in a mass of clear mucous substance and some tiny sliced pieces of imitation crab. Looked so unappetizing, i didn't even taste it. Visually appalling if you've ever had shrimp in lobster sauce in the past. Roast Pork with String Beans: The pork had an off taste, like it was on its last leg yesterday--inedible. The "string beans" were not to be found; instead, there were slimy stir fried cucumber slices. (Cucumbers are best served crisp and cold in a salad--not stir fried; how about bok choy, or Napa cabbage, or fuqua?) But, the revolting taste and smell of the bad pork would have ruined any veggies in it. The House Special Fried Rice had a strange unpleasant chemical taste. The only actual edible item in this order was the plain white rice, which was good. I love Chinese Food, but I won't be able to eat it again till I can get this horrible food experience out of my head and stop the gagging impulse. 3 fails out of 3 dishes.
