On a recent visit to Nashville, we enjoyed our China Spring dishes. We ordered off of DoorDash and the reviews are much higher there than they are on Yelp. Everything was delicious and fresh. We ordered beef and broccoli, house fried rice, house egg fu young, and egg drop soup. Everything came promptly, hot, and the order was executed well. They even threw in some extra spring rolls with no charge which I really appreciated. I don't know if I will be back to Nashville, but I will always fondly remember the delicious food we ordered. This is my local Chinese spot. They are hard workers and they try to get your order made in a timely manner. I put this team to the test by walking in and placing an order on Christmas Day. I already saw the amount of people waiting and knew and expected a long wait. There were two young kids placing orders, well one girl she had to have been 16 and a kid who looked like he was 10. They were frantically working and taking orders as best they could. It was mayhem. Phones ringing off the hook, uber eats and door dash orders pinging multiple tablets. I really felt for the workers. I placed my order and waited. Not gonna lie, it took them 45 minutes to make my order - that's after I waited at the counter and made several inquiries. They did the best they could though and I will not fault them. It was like the NYSE in there. receipts littering the floor behind the counter, phones going off like crazy of people ordering. You could hear a commotion in the kitchen. They made the order and it was accurate and I ate it - that's all that matters at this point. The young girl taking orders did a remarkable job. I will have to come here more frequently on a day that isn't Christmas lol. Maybe on NYE or something. Anyway I got my go to in Chinese - Chicken Egg Foo Young. The sauce was just how I like it. This is one of our favorite places in Antioch to order from. Its a little strip mall restaurant that lacks in atmosphere BUT the food makes up for it. They're a great take out /delivery place those. They're quick with walk in and delivery orders. They make and cook everything fresh to order and wait time on walk in even on large orders is about no more than 10 minutes. Delivery usually within 15 to 30 minutes depending on where you live. We ordered beef with veggies, shrimp toast, seared dumplings, and crab rangoons. Everything was ON POINT as usual! It was delivered piping hot within 30 minutes of us ordering. The shrimp toast is outrageously good! We end up ordering at least 3 orders. The crab rangoons are crispy, creamy, slightly sweet, and slightly salty and very ADDICTIVE. The beef w/veggies and white rice is so flavorful, tender, and perfectly cooked up with a variety of traditional veggies like bamboo chute water chestnuts and baby corn. Everything they serve at China Spring is absolutely delicious. We've tried almost the whole menu and haven't had one bad thing yet. They are definitely worth it if you wanna order delivery or pick up dinner for the family on the way home from work. They also take phone in orders so you can call your order in and go pick it up! I am from NYC and ww have excellent Chinese food. The food here was very different. I have never had breaded chicken in Cashew or Kung Pao before nor have I had large mushrooms in my Cashew Chicken. We threw our meals out. Did not like the taste at all except for the egg rolls. read more

I wasn't impressed with this food at all. I was craving good Chinese and this disappointed. The chicken was cold and a mix of white and dark meat. The broccoli was hard and the sauce tasted weird. The fried rice didn't have any vegetables in it and was a yellow color, almost like Indian rice. I paid almost $30 for this order since it was an Uber eats pickup. This place rocks! We've been here a few times (always takeout) and it's by far the best Chinese we've had in TN so far! There's lots of good Thai, Indian, and Japanese food around us in Mt Juliet, but there's really not a good Chinese restaurant, which is a damn shame (we're transplants from the Northeast). We stumbled upon China Spring while driving around and this is now our go-to as the quality of the food is always top-notch. They have a standard menu, but the flavors are so much better here than anywhere else. The chicken tasted so old and was a weird orange color and the sauce tasted congealed. The pork fried rice tasted old and off. The shrimp egg roll tasted like it was bad. Not impressed at all. This is so far the best Chinese food I have had in Nashville. The sweet and sour chicken and general Tao's are great. The sweet and sour sauce is by far the best I've had in Nashville. Spring rolls and egg rolls are both very good. The only thing I have to report negatively is that the veggie lo mein, will still decent, was not great. 1st timer. I ordered general tso combination. It was more than enough in the container. The egg roll was delicious and flavorful, the rice was plain to me, had a smoke taste but I added sweet and sour sauce, a little soy sauce and it tasted a lot better. The chicken itself was a very decent size, it tasted like sweet and sour chicken, had no spice to it (very sweet). I would go again and try something different bc it's nearby and I'm visiting a friend house and we love Chinese. That just didn't have the flavor I was looking for on the general!!! Coming to Nashville I found it hard to get Chinese takeout. This place will satisfy your craving

I looked at the menu online and chose to order the exact same dish I had last week, call me a creature of habit, but the happy family WAS delicious the last time I had it it included... . Lobster, scallops, shrimp, roasted pork, beef, mixed with sauteed Chinese vegetables, exactly how it was listed on the menu. Tonight I ordered the exact same dish on doordash.... They did not include the fried rice and they replace the scallops and lobster with imitation crab meat. I immediately took it to the store, the owner became argumentative and accusatory. When that didn't work they suggested that the menu on doordash was wrong and they haven't made changes to the ingredients...the final solution provided was that I pay again before they were willing to remake my order. read more

OUR FAVORITE CHINESE FOOD!!! We love the recipes and food at China Spring off Anderson Road and Smith Springs Road. Their Hunan chicken, general Taos chicken, beef pepper steak, beef with broccoli, cashew chicken... i've tried these dishes at other Chinese restaurants and have been very disappointed - As far as me and my friends are concerned, this is the best tasting Chinese we've ever had. Myself and my wife has eaten here often on and just a couple of days ago we went and picked up an order so when we got home we sat down to eat and my food itself was half done and also layup charged us on the fried rice two dollars for fried rice and of course the white rice is free! We eat at a place called Rice box it's located in Goodlettsville it's next door to the Kroger when we go out to eat Chinese that's where we go my wife works at the Kroger so she's eaten there a lot for me myself it's always been consistent and everybody is very polite and nice to the customers and they don't up charge you for getting fried rice. read more

We decided to get some China Spring for the first time due to the positive reviews we read. We ordered a bunch of food to include beef and broccoli, lo mien, Mongolian beef, and four egg rolls.
