First off, very clean! Almost hospital sterile... maybe because I got there right as they opened? Who knows. I'll take a clean restaurant any day. The staff was nice, too. I decided to indulge and get orange chicken - my fave even though I'm trying to eat less friend food. It was so good! There was a nice bright citrus flavor. The chicken was perfectly cooked - still a little crispy even with the sauce. It was such a great portion size so it was easily 2 meals for me. This is classic Chinese takeout food. It tastes great for takeout food, and will fill you right up. Every dish comes with rice (not pictured) even the lo mein. The chicken was nice and crispy, the wonton soup was very salty, the beef had great flavor and the lo mein was good too! Our order was ready within 20 minutes, and they were nice. We didn't eat inside, but it was plastic booths and a counter for pickup. A very good option if you're craving chinese food. read more

FOOD was UNSAFE. Sesame Chicken was FREEZER BURNT and all but impossible to chew. One piece of chicken was found to have MOLD IN IT. This is unacceptable. Absolutely UNACCEPTABLE. In addition to serving food that was clearly spoiled before cooking it they got the order wrong. There is NO WAY that this restaurant did not know that this food was spoiled. China Town has a great lunch special. For $11.95, you get a huge entree (not a wimpy portion), 2 scoops of rice, a pint of soup and a bottled beverage. It's the best deal out there--I can't eat a full lunch portion, so it's enough for two lunches! China Town was a hit! On the cusp of a conversation about finding any "small town feel" Chinese/asian cuisine, I find this restaurant on a search. Tucked away on white bridge pike, we were welcomed at entry. Although it seemed like a slow Sunday the aroma let us know we were in for a treat! After reviewing the extensive menu we settled on the Red Curry with tofu and fried rice and the pepper steak with white rice. The red curry arrived piping hot and the pepper steak followed with some serious sizzle! Both dishes had amazing flavor and did not disappoint. All of the vegetables were cooked with care and suited the dishes nicely. From broth to sauce China Town checked every box. On top of great food, the service was great as well! Our waitress was very kind and detail oriented. She made our first visit a nice one. All in all if you're looking for good food add China Town to your list. I got take out from China Town over the weekend. They were not doing dine in that night so we ended up taking our food to go. The restaurant overall is clean and very tidy. The service was helpful and everything was ready for us very quickly. The food was good. Of the three things I got the Orange Peel Chicken was definitely my favorite. I may just like chicken dishes better at Chinese restaurants because I could have passed on the Kung Pao beef but it was a winner in my household otherwise. Chinatown definitely lives up to its stellar approval rating. I was on the west side of Nashville last week and had just a short amount of time to grab lunch in between some appointments. You cannot beat the price for the food and probably one of the better chinese spots in town. Be forewarned: it can be insanely busy on weeknights! We went on a random Tuesday and some of the to-go order had a wait time of 2 hours so place your orders early! We ate at the location and it was clean and received quick service despite it being busy! Portions are very generous. We had five different dishes and by far the must-try item on the menu is the spicy peanut butter noodles--I will be dreaming about those for days! read more

Tucked away in a little strip is a restaurant that does not disappoint. A small little place that serves excellent food and has many different options. The service itself was fast and everyone was extremely nice. For a hole in the wall it deserves 5 stars. The portions are hefty and make wonderful leftovers. I couldn't recommend this place more. I've been searching for great Chinese food ever since I left New York and I think this place might be my holy grail in Nashville. Every other place has been alright but this place is the closest that I've tasted to New York Chinese Food. So far I have gotten the Chicken and Broccoli, General Tso's and the Fried Chicken Wings. All of those items have been enjoyable so one of those three will probably be my go to whenever I return to this place. Perhaps one of the best tasty deals in Nashville! We got SO MUCH food per dish and went home with enough left overs for another meal for two. Started with an appetizer of crispy salt and pepper chicken, which was tasty and came laid on a refreshing bed of crunchy greens. I had the Shoyu ramen as my main course. It came with chicken, egg, bok choy, bamboo shoots, fish cake, bean sprouts, and green onions. It didn't taste like authentic Shoyu ramen, but was still hearty and tasty nonetheless. My partner got the chongqing hot pepper chicken, which he loved. It comes with peanuts and some other veggies. Additionally, super friendly and fast service. Was excited Friday to see China Town had opened in the plaza off White Bridge that old time Nashvillians may think of as the "2 Danes" plaza. Placed the order online and unfortunately they did not have an option to pay online which leads to a delayed pick up involving paper receipts to sign and a wait if there is even one person there. That said, service was awesome, staff was helpful and friendly. I ordered the seafood delight medium heat which was not hot at all though I could see a chili flake here and there, next time I will try the "hot" version. There was plenty of seafood - imitation krab, squid, scallops, fish cake and even a surprise mussel appeared - but be aware there are no shrimp in this dish. This did seem very fresh (though I was surprised the mushrooms were canned and not fresh). I did add a little sriracha at home and it made it perfect mixed with the rice. I do remember from China Town's beloved Green Hills location that their noodle dishes were especially good so will try that on the next trip. Honorary mention: they have boba tea, all kinds! I got the "classic tea flavor" and drank it immediately in the car on the way home so it didn't make the photo. read more

They are very busy with to go orders. We got there when they open at 11:00 am . By 11:15 they are packed. We have tried many dishes and have not been disappointed.
