Right next to the TN State Museum and close to Cannery Hall, so it's good for a pre concert meal or an afternoon lunch after the museum. Service was quick and polite. The market is air conditioned and the ambiance is fairly calm on a Thursday afternoon at 4:30. It was nice to just sit and have a meal somewhere that wasn't super busy. read more

Inside Nashville Farmers Market. This is our new go-to spot for fast, good Korean! We're not in the area often but will make a point of making it out more often. Chicken fried rice nice and smoky, slightly peppery goodness. The bulgogi ramyun was among the MANY hits at our table. The bulgogi kimbap and veggie kimbap were equally fantastic. The bulgogi bibimbap with kimchi was also a huge hit. So much yummy goodness, so quickly, and at such a good price. Cannot recommend highly enough! We are def going back!!! See ya there! read more

I'm really disappointed... everything is smoochy. I got the ramen and the PK Roll. The roll consistency was so sticky it was so hard to eat. It would get stock on the roof of my mouth, ha! And the ramen well, I could of made a Maruchan taste and look better than what I got. Portions were great, but it doesn't matter if you won't eat it. The staff was rude and they seem like they were annoyed with being there. There are other stuff you could be doing to earn money that won't kill your souls guys. The farmer market food court has plenty on space but it can get crowded during lunch ours so is their parking situation. They do have a parking lot. read more

I had the Bowl & Roll food stand inside the Nashville Farmer's Market bookmarked for quite some time as I have not had Korean food since I moved to Nashville almost 2 years ago! When I had two friends visiting in town I decided to take them to the Farmer's Market to eat and all three of us ended up picking different choices for lunch, but I think I got the best thing! I ordered a bowl of fried rice with veggies and bulgogi on top. For anyone who has not tried bulgogi it is thinly sliced pieces of marinated beef which are delicious! They customize each bowl so they asked me which veggies I wanted and I said everything and was not disappointed with that decision. They give you a container of kimchi (fermented vegetables) and a hot sauce that tasted like a smoky, mild sriracha sauce. I happily mixed everything together and it was a delight. I got a bottle of Lipton sweetened green iced tea to go with it and my total was $12.87. Service was quick, the price isn't too bad and the food was great! I will definitely be back on my next visit to the Nashville Farmer's Market. read more

With so many dining options, it can be a bit overwhelming to choose where to eat. One of my all time favorites is Bowl & Roll. It's affordable, fresh, and delicious. I chose to get a small order of the Crazy Kimbap with Bulgogi. It is yum yumm yummm! This was a pleasant meal in the Nashville Farmer's Market. When I drive rideshare, I like to stop at the market because there is free convenient parking and a good selection of foods. After eyeing this spot for several trips, I decided to try them and I am glad I did. They have both meals in bowls and sushi. Bulgogi BibiBap just sounded so interesting I had to try it. Being a courageous eater, it took a bit to get past a language barrier, but I found out Bulgogi is a seasoned beef. My bowl started off with white rice and then my choice of vegetables. For simplicity, I simply said, "All of them" and was happy in my selection. A good amount of seasoned beef was added. The beef was not shredded like barbecue, but more like very slender slices found in a Philly Cheesesteak. The flavor was no where near Philly beef, it was Korean. Two mini cups came with it, a hot sauce and what appeared to be chopped kimchi. The gentleman behind the counter suggested just blending these into the bowl, which I did with great results. Four stars were earned for a unique, tasty meal, but it was after all, served in disposable dishes, as all of them are in the market. All the toppings were prepared for serving efficiency. Researching the dish, I found it one definition of Bibibap to mean "mixed rice". Another website said that bugolgi is a marinated meat. Since all the ingredients were prepared, the dish lacked some freshness. On line recipes listed all the fresh ingredients that would have added a great deal to the dish. But, then again, it was in a market environment, not a sit down restaurant. I will go back and try other dishes, for sure. read more

What was served was white rice, mixed with some Kimchi saluted with it. Before serving, the lady on front desk asked what all vegetables she can add on top - which were cold. I tried this place two weeks ago and loved it. For the price, location, and competition, I would say this is one of my new top merchants at the Farmer's market. It was made fresh in front of you and was also delicious. I liked how they had different options too. I liked it so much that I took a box to go to give to my friend. For the price and location and service, I give this place a 5. Just wish more people would give Korean food a try. It's healthy and really not weird - just a different way to prepare typical foods (except for the Kimbop). I've been two several other merchants here, and have not been impressed. 4 stars primarily for the BOMB ASS kimbap, 3 stars for the mediocre bibibamp. My friend and I shared the crazy kimbap, 2 orders of the meat dumplings (3 per order, 6 total) and a bowl of bibimbap. All of it was delicious! The bibimbap is not the best one I've ever had - it was pretty average and nothing special. It's probably on the poorer end of quality bibimbap. Get it if you want your cravings curbed, but aside from that, it's not impressive. The kimbap is where it's at. The crazy kimbap is DELICIOUS. It's the perfect combination of salty, sweet, crunchy, and spicy (if you add the sriracha to it). We also ordered the spam kimbap to eat for a late dinner, and that was equally delicious. I'm convinced you can't go wrong with any of the kimbap. The dumplings were good, but not mindblowingly oh-my-god-best-dumplings-ever good. They definitely satisfied my cravings and I liked how they were fried to order. Actually, I love how all of their entrees are made to order. After taste-testing a crunchy kimchi roll while perusing the farmer's market yesterday, I decided to come back and try Leo's Sushi for lunch today. I had a spicy salmon roll, and the man working the counter made it fresh in front of me. It was really cool to watch the roll being made and also makes the process a little more customizable. The man also cut my roll into ten pieces as opposed to the usual 8, which I really appreciated. More manageable bites are always a plus. Each roll also comes with Miso Soup. Altogether, I paid $6.24 for a filling, tasty, and decently healthy meal. I'll definitely be back. Minus one star for having a small menu. read more

I've never had Korean food before, but this place smelled so good! The lady working the counter took the time to walk me through pronunciation of the item I was interested in, as well as all of the ingredients inside, and spice level. I ended up settling on the beef bibimbap bowl (you can also get chicken, veggie only, or fried shrimp), which comes with either fried or white rice, and tons of fresh vegetables including: cabbage, mushrooms, etc. (you can choose to leave whatever in/out). They also make their sauces in-house and put them on the side so you can be in control of the spice level, if you want, which I appreciate. And she included a side sample of...something else. I'm not sure what it was, but I ate it anyway, and it was delicious This place is definitely going to be one of my regular lunch spots now read more
