Fried Crab Rangoon
Alyssa M.

I love a good crab rangoon. This appetizer came with 8 of them, which is way more than most places give you. The general tso chicken was pretty good as well. The rice was not my favorite, but now I know to get the chicken a la carte next time. The prices are extremely reasonable as well. I had plenty of leftovers from this meal and it tasted just as good the next day.

Ordered in China Dragon tonight. The food was delivered very fast. Not sure if there's a dine in option. To start from the appetizers the crab Rangoon's we're very good. The chicken broccoli entree was delicious. Both entrees were a very large size (great for leftovers)! The happy family entree had it all (shrimp, chicken, beef, mushrooms....). Would order again!

We decided to try somewhere new for takeout tonight and were really pleased! We ordered the crab rangoon appetizer and the chicken with broccoli and happy family appetizers. All were delicious, but my favorite was the happy family. The scallops were tender and cooked perfectly. If you're considering China Dragon for takeout, it travels really well. It arrived hot. The portions are so plentiful that we'll have at least one more full meal from the leftovers.

This review is based off of delivery, so no service...just food! We are new to town and have started the exhausting search for all of our go-to delivery spots, so this past week the craving for Chinese delivery hit and we ended up ordering China Dragon through UberEats. Delivery time from order to delivery was solid. No complaints at all. It was on time and everything was as it should be. Delivery fee was a little painful, but when you have to use a third party app, that is expected. Food wise we went for a few classics. Sesame Chicken, House Lo Mein and Wonton Soup. The Sesame Chicken combination platter was served with fried rice and an egg roll. The chicken was a little tough and the sauce was too thick, plus the "fried rice" was more steamed yellow rice and frozen veggies...The House Lo Mein was ok. It is supposed to have a healthy mix of pork, beef, chicken and shrimp along with the lo mien and veggies, however there were about 5 shrimp, a few pieces of pork and a couple small pieces of chicken. I usually judge a Chinese spot off of their wonton soup, as it is an easy classic dish with very few parts...and while they passed on the broth (chicken instead of beef!), the noodles were gummy and the crispies seemed stale. Maybe we just hit it on an off night? At this point, the search for our go-to Chinese delivery spot is still ongoing...

Pork fried rice was good. Portion was good. But the general tso's chicken was too salty for me. I didn't have an egg roll, but my friend loved them. Also, I tasted the orange chicken, and it was flavorful and not overly salty. So, ok Chinese but I'm not raving.

Overall happy with my order. The shrimp with garlic sauce was good and had a lot of shrimp which is rare for a quick order Chinese restaurant. I will say it had a little fish taste which I'm averted too but overall I was able to snack on it for two days! The Mei fun was delicious as always. Kung pao chicken was pretty tasty... I did add a little sauce with the rice and make the perfect meal! The egg rolls were delicious. With the hot and sour soup which is usually my favorite, something was off. There was a little bit of a chemical or some type of flavor. You could see the division separate out by the next day. The delivery order was quick and the server was nice. I would recommend the service. The ambiance in my home over an SVU episode could not be beat. I will definitely order from here again. I will try the soup again and hope I got it on an off night as everything else had a great taste!

Definitely not your most elegant take out but the steamed chicken, shrimp and veggies with garlic sauce are solid.

I came in on a Wednesday night around 6 and the place was empty which was great for me because I knew the food would come out fast. As it did and very fresh indeed. The homemade sauces were the star of the show. I ordered the Ginger Chili Tofu- spicy just like I like, FULL of flavor, & I tried their in house sauces which added an extra layer of kick to it. The fortune cookie was a nice touch. The menu is clearly labeled for those with dietary restrictions and gluten allergies. To me, this is the perfect order for 2: 2 orders of peanut butter dumplings (yes, you need your own because they're that good, and for optimal sauce dipping for your other dumplings too!!) and an order of steamed half chicken coriander half spicy pork dumplings. Definitely don't skip the drinks! I got the lychee dragonfruit tea and added in lychee popping boba this last time. Delish. I haven't been super impressed with some of the items aside from the dumplings - I wouldn't get the hot and sour soup again and could take or leave the cucumber salad. But the dumplings and the drinks alone easily make this place a 5/5. Some of the best dumplings I've had in Nashville!

I'd definitely recommend dining in - we went in on a rainy Thursday around 6 and it was already packed, but a table for two opened within about five minutes. Service is great and food hits the table quickly. We started with the fresh rolls, chicken and cabbage dumplings, and the tom kha. We added a side of peanut sauce, which was a game changer for the fresh rolls. The tom kha was a little tart for my taste, but was loaded with veggies that were cooked perfectly. The dumplings were super tender, and the fresh rolls are my favorite in town! For entrees, we got the pad thai and pad see-ew with rice noodles. Both absolutely delish, and we loved how the pad see-ew was prepared simply and traditionally with Chinese broccoli. Those portions are not to be reckoned with... we ended up taking two boxes full of noodles home! Their sticky rice with mango was our favorite bite of the night.
