    Chinese Pork Dumplingsdumplings
    Anna L.

This place seems to be in a busy area. Only parking is on the street and you have to pay. When I walked in , it looks pretty run down. The pork dumplings were good. You can tell they make it from scratch and not the frozen ones. The takoyaki was good. Also makes from scratch. A bit crispy on the outside. I had the tomato broth with beef and wide noodles. The broth itself is a bit bland but some people like that. A bit pricy But food is decent.

From Top: Roast Pork Buns, Basil Fried Chicken, & Pork and Chives Dumplings. All were good.

Dumplings and Noodles, oh my! I visited for lunch and I'm glad I did. Atmosphere and service were ok, but the food was good and the prices were fair. I really enjoyed the flavor of the Spicy Sour Noodles. The broth was delicious and the soup was full of delicious components, including some perfectly cooked bok choy. The sweet potato glass noodles were super long and a bit difficult to manage, but they tasted great. Our table really enjoyed the Pork and Chives Dumplings and the Basil Fried Chicken that we all shared. The roast pork buns were good also. My friend really enjoyed his bowl of Steak Noodles. Come here expecting good food at fair prices and you won't be disappointed.

Meet Noodle is a hidden gem in Nashville, separating itself from other restaurants in the area by just being a street or two over. Very authentic and delicious noodles. Lots of options. Broth is tasty. Would highly recommend.

Steak Noodles, Bao, Dumplings, Spring Rolls

We just went to Meet Noodles for the first time and loved it! They have their own parking spots, such a perk on a pay street. I got the steak noodles, it's definitely a lightly flavored pallet for you to add onto. The spicy at the table is delicious, do it!! We got three apps, I loved the pork and chive dumpling most, the bao and spring rolls were good, too. Service was great. We'll be back!

    Pork Chop Cutlet Rice

Walked over to this restaurant. Nice tiled walls inside, seemed clean. A couple of booths well worn. Pork and chive dumplings were good, tasted handmade. Beef skewers were ok, very small and a little spicy. Beef soup broth was tasty and noodles were good, but portion was pretty small and beef bits were full of gristle. Pork cutlet was decent over rice, did not like the egg included. Service was indifferent at best.

The picture doesn't do it justice. The portions are HUGE. I had a build your own and it was a great deal. Their pickles (chinese mustard) are awesome. Our waitress was patient and helpful. They have 2 free parking spots in front of the restaurant. We also got the bao buns, but wished there was a bit more filling. Overall place is a great deal with authentic food. Will definitely be back.

    Basil Fried Chicken, tonkatsu

I am a frequent visitor of this restaurant, as I often crave a warm and hearty bowl of Chinese beef noodle soup. To me, the best item on the menu by far is Zhou's beef noodle soup. Generous portion size with nicely marinated beef cuts and bok choy. The soup broth is very savory and delicious. Have ordered a few other things off the menu (basil fried chicken, tonkatsu, cold spicy chicken) and nothing has really hit the spot like the beef noodle soup. Seating is cozy, server is prompt, items are a bit pricey (ends up being about $20 per person per meal) for what they are. Overall a place that makes a few things really well, but not everything on the menu is as great!

Amazing place to eat with family or friends! I've been here so many times and every time it hits the spot. The vibe and the food are so comforting. My favorite is the Fish Ball and Wonton Noodles. Big portions and wonderful flavor. The staff are all super welcoming and engaging, too. This place is authentic Chinese food and I love it.

Meet Noodles is located right next to Vanderbilt's campus and you will need to rely on street parking in this neighborhood. I came in about 30 mins before their closing time and they were kind enough to accommodate me! When I walked in, I noticed that it is a very casual place with students actually studying at multiple booths. I did a build my own with chongqing broth and noodles, ground pork, and bok choy. I do wish the broth had been more savory. I felt that it was lacking slight depth of flavor. However, once I put some chili oil in it, it tasted pretty good. The veggies, meat, and noodles were all cooked very well. This is a solid place if you have have soupy noodle craving!

The bowls are large but it is only half filled.

Food Quality 4* Portion Size 2* Service 1* OVERALL 2* I had a little difficulty with ordering as the server wasn't understanding my dietary needs. It was only after using my limited mandarin did we finally get on the same page although she was still dismissive of my request. So I just decided to order from the make your own bowl. I just wanted a soup bowl and therefore got the Tom Yum broth $4 (filled halfway), Sirloin $3 for 3 small square pieces of meat, Bok Choy $1.50 for 1 stalk cut up, Fish Cake $1.50 for 1 tiny cube sliced in half. The taste of the broth varies from very bland to the Tom Yum which was good but I was too exhausted to argue that the server gave me a different broth to top off the halfway filled soup bowl so I just dumped it into the main bowl. PS - They have a sign on their door that they need Part-Time servers. There's a lot of potential for improvement.

Does the restaurant still offer alternative noodle types like sweet potato or rice noodle?

Yes, we have 5 varieties. Chongqing noodles, rice, sweet potato, sliced, or instant noodles. Chongqing, sliced, and instant are all wheat noodles.

    How is the parking?

Limited in front of the restaurant. There is Parking in the street (bring quarters for the meter) or if you're there at night/weekend, you can park at the bank across the street.

Are they offering inside dining again?

    Yes they are.

    What should I order?

Start with basil fried chicken, then have any of the wonderful noodles with marinated eggs (my favorites are Kim's beef noodles, or zhou's beef noodles) , and top it off with sesame balls for dessert and pumpkin cake. 😊

    Is there a website?

Sort of. Menu posted but not much else.

Where's the best place to park?

You can easily park in front of the restaurant.

I'd definitely recommend dining in - we went in on a rainy Thursday around 6 and it was already packed, but a table for two opened within about five minutes. Service is great and food hits the table quickly. We started with the fresh rolls, chicken and cabbage dumplings, and the tom kha. We added a side of peanut sauce, which was a game changer for the fresh rolls. The tom kha was a little tart for my taste, but was loaded with veggies that were cooked perfectly. The dumplings were super tender, and the fresh rolls are my favorite in town! For entrees, we got the pad thai and pad see-ew with rice noodles. Both absolutely delish, and we loved how the pad see-ew was prepared simply and traditionally with Chinese broccoli. Those portions are not to be reckoned with... we ended up taking two boxes full of noodles home! Their sticky rice with mango was our favorite bite of the night. The rice was the PERFECT texture, in a not-too-sweet sauce, topped with toasted coconut, and the juiciest, sweetest mango. What a treat.

I have eaten Thai from Washington state to Florida and everything in between. I always get chicken pad Thai as a barometer to compare between restaurants. I can't believe it but the very best Thai restaurant I have experienced is in Frankfort Ky. I'm spoiled so even a "good" experience isn't going to rank as high. This is a really cute restaurant and from the parking lot I knew it was a local favorite. Chicken and cabbage dumplings were excellent. Pad Thai was good, as mentioned. The sauce wasn't very flavorful and while I like onions, this dish had A LOT. Red and green onion and not consistently chopped. The green onions were very large, fibrous pieces that were difficult to eat. I also like the egg component but this dish had a lot of egg and seemed to be a large filler. We also had the pad see ew with chicken. Also good, but not outstanding. The service was top notch and the restrooms were very clean.
