Excellent service and great food! We tried the build-your-own mazeman bowls, which is like a broth-less ramen. It starts at $14.95 which is such a deal in this area of Nashville! It's a super cute, chill spot that feels casual and authentic but very inviting! We also enjoyed the Tokyo Fried Chicken and the Hot Chicken Bun, which is like a Nashville hot chicken sandwich on a bao -- a super unique fusion menu item!

Great place to go for a solo date or quick lunch. The staff is vet knowledgeable of the menu and the culture of ramen. I got the fried rice bowl which came with a soy egg and it was cooked to perfection. The miso sweet potatoes are also a must try!

Pricey yes but the food is always good. I tried the location on division street for the first time and same quality as I have gotten at the Charlotte location as well as the east nashville location. Sat in the bar area which I will admit felt a bit cramped but the service was great. The bartender was quick to attend to my needs and overall everything went well. I ordered the hot chicken ramen. It was a delicious dish and I normally enjoy spicy dishes but not sure I would order it again as the spice level was a bit overbearing and the chicken is whole tenders. Id prefer they slice them. But still get 5 stars from me.

My coworker and I got to have lunch after deciding on Ramen and he picked Otaku Ramen at the Gulch. It had been more than 10yrs since i ate at this specfic location due to a food poisoning situation that made me avoid coming here.... I ordered the No 2 but substituted the Miso Chicken instead of the pork and added fish cake slices. I needed some heat but there is no chili powder so I took out my Buldak hot sauce that I travel with and added some to my noodles. Our server was attentive and obliged my request for hot water with lemons to soothe my sore throat. I completely finished my entire bowl which was absolutely delicious! This experience was really good and so I'm glad he picked this location as it has taken me 10yrs to overcome my fear of eating here but will return again soon

Beware if you have high blood pressure! Their ramen was super super salty. The noodles were cooked well but their soup was practically just salt. My friend had the spicy chicken ramen and he said the chicken was spicy and cooked well!

Overall very enjoyable ramen experience! I have yet to find a ramen place in TN that has me wanting more but this place hit all the marks. I ordered the shio tonkotsu ramen and the broth was creamy and flavorful, the noodles had a decent bite and weren't too soggy, and the pork was fatty and delicious. Though I wish they had a full egg in there as my meal only had half of one. We sat on the covered patio area which reminded me of an izakaya in Japan. The food also came out very fast. Service was average- nothing special. Pretty solid place overall!

I like this place overall. Came in about 6pm on a Tuesday night and it was almost empty so no need for reso. Parking was free the first hour. Was greeted and seated at the bar right away. A girl got me a water and took my order, as well as letting me know the HH specials. The HH specials aren't impressive by any means, and she let me know ahead of time absolutely no substituting or mixing any items on any ramens. Only adding on for charge. It was good to know, but I do think the policy of the restaurant could be rethought for those who can't eat certain items. Sapporo on tap and spicy chicken ramen was great. The service was fast and friendly. The server was present for refills but not intrusive which was a great balance. I would return to this place again because she was so great, and the food although I would've liked without a certain item was still really good.

Obsessed doesn't even begin to explain it. I love Otaku and this is the only location I go to. The staff is so friendly and always welcoming. The food is CONSISTENTLY delicious and I have never had a bad experience here. I love this place so much and it always hits the spot.

Ew ........ The picture does the talking and there's no email listed on their website to ask for a refund. I had been on the fence about this restaurant for a while, but kept going due to its proximity to me. As of today I'm definitely done with this place.

Such a unique fusion experience! Food: fun to eat Service: we went on a busy night and had no issues Ambiance: small place, casual

I have always ordered takeout from this location in Nashville. It always comes super fresh and so consistent. Have eaten a few times at this location I recommend the spicy miso ramen! I had to write a review because I was so appreciative of their great customer service. I came in with my sister last night and they were extremely busy and the manager was so accommodating and apologetic to us with having to wait a longer amount of time to get service. We really appreciate how she handled the situation and valued us as customers!

We were welcomed by a friendly team, and we ordered Hokkaido bubble tea and strawberry hibiscus bubble tea with our ramen. The portion sizes is huge and the ramen was delicious. I couldn't finish my ramen, but I knew I'd really bad letting go the delicious bowl of food to waste, so I took the remain food for takeout, so trust me, it was that good! The ambiance was very casual with plenty of sitting to accommodate enough people. Definitely my favourite ramen place in the city!

Yes! Bring your furry friend :)

Are all of the "ramen" dishes made with soba noodles? I'm lookin for a place that has the lightness and consistency of a true ramen noodle.

Sorry we missed this! Soba is a different noodle then Ramen. Similar in wheat used but different because the ramen noodle has an alkaline (think baking soda) that makes it have a slightly different bite.

Wasted Soup dumplings are so damn cool. It's also either an engineering marvel or some sort of biblical miracle. How is the soup born inside the little dumpling?? So many questions!! That my friend, is a whole fucking lot!! I am more full of myself than you could possibly imagine. I loved these particular chicken wings a little more than life. I walked through downtown Nashville alone, on a random weeknight, just to eat these wings because I saw them on Yelp. I had already eaten dinner at Eddie V's earlier in the evening, but these wings called me from more than a mile away... Come eat me, Adam.... Is all I could hear after I saw others pictures of the wings.... Shhhh. Wings. I can't. But you must, said the wings.... I can't, I have no transportation.... The ambience is bright and energetic, with fun neon signs and decor. The space feels open and spacious with plenty of seating. We started our night with the Pork Belly Bao Buns, but since they were out of pork belly, we tried the Chinese BBQ Pork instead. I wasn't upset because they were phenomenal. The Soup Dumplings were just as amazing, but the Roti Canai (Malaysian flatbreads with curry sauce) stole the show. The curry was rich with the perfect amount of spice. You're missing out if you skip the appetizers here. For my entrée, I ordered the Hong Kong Wonton Noodle Soup, and all I can say is wow. The broth and tender wontons were the perfect combination. My boyfriend loved his Pad Thai as well, and the only downside was the portion size for the price. I want to give a huge shoutout to our server, Jaylen, for making the experience top-notch. He was incredibly attentive, patient, and offered great recommendations through the night. Hawkers is on my list for date nights, ladies' nights, or a casual evening out (especially for drinks and appetizers!)

We had read somewhere that Acme Feed & Seed (in an historic 1890 building) offered a quieter alternative. We gathered around a nice table near the stage on the first floor, and maybe there were a dozen other people there? Yet, on the next Broadway block things were in full swing? We weren't complaining, but wondered why? The first floor at Acme has been described as a high-energy "Funky Tonk" atmosphere featuring a main stage for live music, a large bar, and fast-casual dining. Our band during our stage was even a little different than that, and what an enjoyable group is was! The Mudbug Stompers brought us the sounds of old-time jug bands, Dixieland jazz, blues, trains, baseball, and crawfish boils. Although this is a Nashville Band, we could have easy been on or around Bourbon Street in NOLA. I was particularly impressed with the trumpet player and the lead singer who played a mean mandolin. Add the string base, sax, and fiddle, and we experienced a very impressive whole. We were highly entertained and engaged, and we're still talking about the experience!

Once our table was ready, we were seated at the door with a 1/2 table but it worked since it was just three of us. If I returned I'd want to do a full table as it was difficult to cook and talk to each other at a half table. There are tons of raw meat, veggie, seafood, noodles, rice options to grill or add to your hot pot. Along with sushi and desserts. Everything I had was good except the sushi which was bland and tasted like it sat out for hours. I also wish it wasn't buffet style with so many hands touching everything. Plus the plates were stored beneath the food and were hard to reach. I stood most of the time to cook because of the table set up. I'm not sure how others did it but I had to go get clean plates to place my food on after cooking because I refused to put cooked food on a plate with formerly raw meat. There also needs to be clean bowls available for finished hot pot food. I had to use the ramen bowl I had from the conveyor belt. Speaking of the conveyor belt, I'm confused about its point an only one person at our table could reach it. Things were not labeled and the majority were available on the buffet. My niece enjoyed herself so that's what really mattered. However, she's the one that gave it 3 stars so not the best or her favorite but also not bad. I will say (and I never mentioned this to my niece because I didn't want to ruin the evening) that I used the restroom and while washing my hands saw one of the workers use the restroom and never wash her hands!
