Something called an egg roll and burnt spare riv.

Horrible....all over cooked and half ended up sick. That's what they call an egg roll and a burnt spare rib. Now we r all feeling sick.

General Tso chicken with fried rice and egg rolls.

I ordered from China One though DoorDash and it arrived still hot which is impressive. The General Tso chicken was ok. It had a nice spiciness to it, which is what I asked for, but the flavor seem to have a sweet and sour taste to it. Don't get me wrong, I ate the whole thing, but it's not the General Tso flavor I am used to with Chinese restaurants. The fried rice was bland and had little flavor to it. It appears to be some yellow grained rice with small pieces of onion and pork throughout. The first picture makes it appear there is not much quantify of either item, but in my second picture you can see how much actually came in the container. The egg rolls were your average egg roll with a crispy exterior and flavorful interior. It was still steaming hot when I got it, so again impressed with how well the food maintained temperature during the 20 minute transit to my hotel room. Overall, I was not overly impressed with he flavor of the food. The quality was there, but their flavors are inconsistent or non-existent in some items. It's a hit and miss when it comes to Chinese and the effort they are willing to put into their food.

My favorite Chinese food restaurant in the area. I travel the country for work and this is consistently one of my favorites I've ever been to. The pork fried rice is something I could eat an unhealthy amount of, and the General Tso Chicken is always cooked to perfection. I also have a weak spot for the eggrolls. Chicken with mushrooms.

This place has been hit or miss for me. The service is fast - usually 15 min for a pickup order. Parking is easy and location is convenient. The food varies. My last order of chicken with mushrooms and chicken kung pao was disappointing. The biggest problem was the chicken itself. For chicken and mushrooms, I would have preferred the chicken to be stir-fried, but I got deep-fried, and the meat itself was not choice. Not a lot of mushrooms. Fried rice was nothing special, kind of dry. Kung Pao chicken was also not choice, seemed like a lot of the pieces were mostly deep-fried breading. Not sure I will be going back, which is unfortunate. If they could up their food game, they would be a favorite of mine.

China one has become my place to go for Chinese in Donelson. I order from here at minimum twice a month. The honey walnut shrimp.... If you haven't tried it... get it!! So good! The food always come to my door really quickly and the delivery people are super nice. The mai fun as well as the bean curd with mixed vegetables are staples of mine. I usually order a large quantity with friends over and we set up buffet style after a night out! We've had no complaints. The only one we've not been huge on is the bourbon chicken- the sauce is very flavorful but the chicken always seems to be too dry. The beef and broccoli and sesame chicken (traditional favorites) always come out well. I think this is a great hole in the wall spot to get your Chinese fix!

Very good food! We got a lot of different things and they were all good. First time in Nashville and wanted something different.

Beyond terrible... I normally don't write bad reviews especially since we're in a pandemic... But man this food was inedible. The chicken here is very questionable. Took a couple bites and right off the bat something just tasted off and texture was off. Ordered the orange chicken and general tso had to throw away both of them. Literally only took a couple bites but couldn't do it. It was disgusting Luckily I ordered some soup on the side and I didn't go completely hungry. Honestly wish they would've offered me a refund but they said no to that.

It was an interesting restaurant as we walked in. The decor didn't come across as Chinese. I'm glad my daughter was familiar with the place because I would not have known to go to the back counter to order. I tried asking a couple things about the menu but could not understand the worker that well. It seemed that he couldn't understand me either because he initially put in the wrong orders -- my daughter caught it before we paid. Very reasonable prices. I ordered the Roast Duck Noodles with the Marinated Egg added. My daughter got her usual "Build a Bowl" of Chong Qing Broth, Sliced Noodles, Steak and Fried Egg. I thought I had ordered a Shrimp Wonton appetizer, but a bowl of soup arrived. After asking the worker about it, he just kept saying it was soup (I know), so I just left that alone. Overall quite delicious -- very authentic Chinese flavors. Excellent house made noodles. The depth of flavor in the broths was fantastic. The proteins were seasoned nicely and cooked well. The bok choy in my soup still had a nice bite. The fried egg was crispy on the edges and perfectly runny in the middle. Unfortunately, I found the marinated egg too salty. Service was minimal -- after ordering, the food comes out and that's it. If you need something, you have to get up to ask. No one checks in. The area wasn't busy when we arrived, so parking was very easy right in front. I'm told it does get tough during peak times. I would definitely return for the food, not the service.

I'd definitely recommend dining in - we went in on a rainy Thursday around 6 and it was already packed, but a table for two opened within about five minutes. Service is great and food hits the table quickly. We started with the fresh rolls, chicken and cabbage dumplings, and the tom kha. We added a side of peanut sauce, which was a game changer for the fresh rolls. The tom kha was a little tart for my taste, but was loaded with veggies that were cooked perfectly. The dumplings were super tender, and the fresh rolls are my favorite in town! For entrees, we got the pad thai and pad see-ew with rice noodles. Both absolutely delish, and we loved how the pad see-ew was prepared simply and traditionally with Chinese broccoli. Those portions are not to be reckoned with... we ended up taking two boxes full of noodles home! Their sticky rice with mango was our favorite bite of the night. The rice was the PERFECT texture, in a not-too-sweet sauce, topped with toasted coconut, and the juiciest, sweetest mango. What a treat.

I ordered their tom kha soup as an appetizer. The broth was good, but the vegetables in it were not cooked at all. It felt like eating a crunchy salad in your soup. Only a minute after ordering the soup we were asked to go ahead and order our main dishes. My pad thai was good, but there was nothing particularly special about it. I had just started eating my food when the server asked us if we wanted to-go boxes and how we were splitting the check. I looked at my phone, and it had only been 30 minutes since we had sat down that we were handed the check. I would have tried their dessert if I hadn't felt rushed out the door. Also, the restaurant wasn't busy/didn't have a wait on tables, so I'm not sure why they rushed us out.
