Wonderful little sit down Chinese restaurant located in a strip mall. We arrived at 815pm. They close at 9 and they were so very kind and seated us immediately. The dining room was VERY clean and I used the restroom and it has to be the cleanest restaurant bathroom I have ever been in. We both got the dinner combinations and for only 10 bucks it was a great deal. Comes with fried rice, soup and main dish. The servings were large! We wouldn't loved to have had veggies or egg in the rice but all Chinese restaurants do it differently. Sweet tea was tasty and not too sweet. We were getting. Ready to leave at 850 and a swarm of people came in. At least 15 at once. I felt bad for them because I knew they closed in 10 minutes but they were just as friendly with the new customers. We can't wait to go back.

China One is in an unassuming spot in a local strip mall. Just the type of hole-in-the-wall you look for in tourist towns. We were pleasantly greeted when we arrived and immediately seated. The interior of the restaurant was lovely and scrupulously clean. We were impressed with the design; everything from the hangings to the sconces was lovely in tones of reds and golds. We placed our orders and the meals were promptly delivered, piping hot and delicious. DH had Beef Chow Mein; my selection was a spider roll and Shrimp Lo Mein. The sushi was fresh and tasty. We were more than just satisfied and made plans to return before the drive home. China One was doing a brisk business while we were there, both dine-in and take out. You should stop by and see for yourself.

A first time try for us and it was well worth the visit. The vibe of the restaurant offers a quiet dining experience that allows for an enjoyable meal. Every staff member that interacted with us was sooo friendly, from the host to the waitress that waited on us along with those who waited on others. Just great service all around. The entrees matched the quality of the service as well. You can certainly tell that it was made to order as everything was hot and needed to cool a bit. The portion sizes are amazing for the price and you're more than likely going to need a box. While the sushi was average in taste, the price didn't break the bank. The steamed dumplings are huge and the General Tso chicken was pretty tasty. When it comes to the Orange Chicken, you can definitely taste the fruity zest. Overall, it was a really good experience and I am looking forward to coming back.

Comfortable restaurant with nice Asian decor. All the employees are young friendly people. Soup is good as are entrees. We had a sesame tofu dinner and combination dinner, shrimp with lobster sauce and fried rice. All were delicious. Service was excellent and prices were very reasonable. Been here several times and they are always good.

Before I share my thoughts, I just want to contest what one reviewer wrote about the food, being rubbery, especially since the picture they posted of the outside bears no resemblance to the place we went to. We were looking for a place away from all the touristy restaurants on the strip, and we gave this place a try. They have a nice dining area with room for about 40 to 50 patrons. My beef, chow mein dinner was delicious, the service was very good and we are going to try to fit in one more visit before going back home!

Wanton Soup that comes with the lunch special.

Eat here all the time, and bring my family when they visit. Never had a bad experience. The owner is phenomenal and always has a kind word.

The lo mein was lukewarm when served and the beef sticks were gristly.

I've driven by Sakura for years. The lil' missus wanted sushi yesterday. She googled sushi- says…read moreSakura has 4 stars and it's a buffet. Ok let's try it. Parking is tight. 2:30 Sunday afternoon and there is a line. It's dark. It's old. It's cramped. It's packed. Pay as you enter at some booth that looks like a fortune teller would be sitting in it. If the fortune teller was indeed there- they would say you are about to be forever changed. We paid- got seated- and headed to the buffet. Holy guacamole Batman. It's tight and crowded. They had prawns or maybe crawfish- missus loved them. They had shrimp. Fried fish looked rough. They had everything you can find in a Chinese food place. They had miles of noodles, piles of egg rolls and dumplings and spring rolls. They had ice cream and cookies and desserts. They had cakes and puddings and yes- a salad or three. If you got to a buffet and eat a salad- you got issues I can't fix. The final test: missus says she didn't see red jello. It isn't a real buffet without the red jello. I went looking. Yes- three kinds of jello. How did everything taste? Missus liked it all and really liked the potatoes ( why, just, why.) I thought the place was absolutely terrific. Old and a bit tired but the food was so very good. The service from our waits was good. She would say to people "I see you" and smile as she took the empty plates or refilled glasses. We paid $12.99 per person, plus $3 per person for drinks. With tip is was like $38 ish bucks. I can spend that at Freddy's or Burger King for two people. So- if ya haven't been there, try it. If ya have- you hopefully had the same great experience we did. Ive included a photo of the jello, just to prove how authentic Sakura is.

Walking in, I was surprised to pay first before you eat as most places I ever been to is eat and pay later. The variety here is actually decent as I expected it to be a lot smaller than anticipated. They have their sushi bar, hibachi (cook to order), fried section, cold bar, salad bar, and dessert area. I really enjoyed their hibachi made to order areas. The cook definitely had some skills. The flavor was definitely on point! The dumpling dipping sauce was amazing. Best I have ever tasted. I am shocked this place didn't get better reviews. The waitress was attentive and kept clearing our table and giving us refills. The ice cream and fruits here was not bad at all. The quality of ice cream was very good and I really enjoyed it. Coming from Atlanta with all the Chinese buffets, I am very surprised to actually enjoy this spot. I highly recommend here if you're in town wanting some good Asian buffet. Price was just right as well. I can't wait to come back!!

The server behind the counter was very nice. Had a wonderful welcomed smile and answered all the questions that we had, that being said, the food was cold, tasted old, no flavor, the rice was the best part, but there's something inside of their egg rolls. They're clear gel like about a half inch long spread throughout the egg roll. When I broke the egg roll apart, I saw them. What is that? Has anyone else noticed that? If you go to panda express break your egg roll apart and start fishing through it. You'll find it there too. We will not be returning to panda express and that's very disappointing. As a local for the Sevierville Tennessee store it's in a great location, but the food was horrible.....

There was several vans full of people that came in at once and you would've thought the staff would have came together too get people fed faster. Ambience was as expected, it was clean and modern. Biggest thing that upset me is, I had to change my newborn on the kitchen sink because that men's bathroom does not provide a changing station. Not sure if this is location specific or panda express just think men don't change baby diapers.
