We ordered takeout and this is our go to spot for Chinese food. We ordered enough food for 6 people and it was just over a 100$. We have tried other Chinese restaurant in our area and we were not impressed with the others. When we ordered we were told that it would be about a 20 minute wait before picking it up. The food was waiting for us when I arrived. read more

Employees are friendly. Service was fast. Food was eh. Chicken wasn't quite right.. there were a variety of vegetables which I appreciate but the sauce tasted odd. Spouse had the sesame chicken and said it wasn't very good. It had a lingering flavor to it in the form of indigestion. This just wasn't if for us. We will continue to look for a local spot that fits our preference. Also the food comes in styrofoam so it made for a messy bag of leaked sauce when it was moved in the car. Wish it was in the typical Chinese containers that was water tight. read more

I have no idea where Rice King I is, but I can assure you the sequel is perfectly serviceable Chinese takeout. We got hot and sour soup (very good), the mapo tofu and white rice (quite good), and some beef satay (okay). Fast service. read more

I feel like I have been eating at this place my entire teen through now adult years and I love going somewhere and the people age with you. I love the consistency I love that it's a small hole in the wall Chinese takeout shop and I absolutely love the food. You all make home home and it's hands down my favorite parts about the community!!!! read more

My wife had noticed this place once when we were headto Louisville, when found ourselves in the area again decided to try it. We had not noticed the first time that it was carry out only and that you had to call in your order and they would hand it though the door to you once it's was ready. As we were already there we called in an order. We got shrimp egg rolls, Kung Pao Shrimp and an order of Sweet and Sour Chicken. The egg rolls were great, the chicken was good though lacking and sort of vegetables that you'd expect. The Kung Pao was not at all spicy and was in fact strangely sweet. The primary taste of the Kung Pao was celery as that was its principle ingredient. Not sure we will be returning. read more

We've ordered takeout several times and we've never had an issue. Service has always been fast. Soup's have always been hot, almost too hot. Breaded chicken isn't chewing or cheap containing gristle or fat. Always plenty to eat so we don't feel shorted. Asian is hard to come by around our area for some reason. Places come and go and owners sell out to others or cheaper ingredients. read more

Quick, easy, good food. Great selection. Not sure I'd recommend eating in but great for take out. Exactly what you'd expect.

Really good food. Nice and fresh!! Sweet n sour shrimp were huge and plenty of them. Hubby had mongolian beef. Rangoons were great! Nice large portions. Will definitely be back!! Worth the drive! Best we have had in the area. read more

I was craving for chineese food and this was the oly place with 4 stars. I went here with high hopes and hodered thier combo special with kung pow chicken with fried rice and asked them to make it extra spicy. The food smelled good and when I took a bite, it was bland and sweet. The menu also said it was spicy and it was not. The chicken was a little slimy because of corn starch coating. The chicken fried rice it came with did not have any chicken in it. On the bright side, my order had quite a bit of veggies and when i peeked through the kitchen, it was very clean. Final comment: spicy is not sweet read more

My family loves picking up dinner here. The food is super fresh and they give you enough that one order is at least two meals. I definitely recommend if you're in the mood for delicious Chinese food read more

This place is pretty damn decent and Finger Licking Good! The overall food was definitely tasty as my coworker and I decided to hit up lunch here. The only unfortunate thing is that it can easily be missed and it is the second of the Rice King! The owner's son was in there cracking it up with me and I had a lot of fun with him so that definitely lightened up the midday lunch for work. They have a cold fridge in which you can buy bottled drinks for about a $1.50. They also have a big saucebox located in the dining area so make sure you don't miss that. Soy sauce anyone...No MSG It is kind of convenient because if you are hungry and want to get your nails done there is a shop right next door, they are pretty awesome as well. All within walking distance. The turn in and out is A little tricky because you end up being at a light that does not have a left turn signal so if it is heavy traffic on that street you are SOL! The only negative experience I really had here is that the fortune cookie did not have a fortune in it and I definitely hold true to those, they have touched my heart for years! It also is pretty dingy and outdated with menus hanging up on the walls but at the end of the day that doesn't matter too much but some people love the aesthetic feel of an Asian food restaurant. Kung-Pao and good speed! ROCK ON and have a PersASIAN OccASIAN lunch today! You won't regret it... Things to try: Kung Pao chicken (Lunch Special) read more

This place has the worst Chinese food I've ever had and I've had my share. We were craving Chinese food and looked up a few reviews while driving. This was close to our new home so pulled in. Like many other fast foods now, it was call in order only so looked at their online menu. It's located in a very small strip mall. After about 20 minutes I walked up to the door and the kitchen was right there. He asked if I was Kim and then set back to work. I stepped outside. The food came out 5 minutes later. The food was hot as Chinese Food is almost always piping hot. Getting to the point--the Vegetable Lo Mein was mushy with extremely overcooked Noodles and Vegetables. The General Tso's chicken was just OK...pretty breaded. The same dish at last restaurant wasn't breaded at all. The Szechuan Beef also had overcooked veggies. The Shrimp Eggrolls are very big but, unfortunately, tasteless. To me, the quality of the vegetables is very important in Chinese Food. Even the water chestnuts were soggy! Won't go back to Rice King 11. read more

this has to be the worst service chineese resturaunt I have ever been to. It takes forever to get your food, and I have called 5 times or more on multiple occasions, and no one evr even answered. I don't think they care if they get our biz or not, I only go because my mom likes it, but if its up to me, I go elsewhere. read more

Mediocre boring and bland. Typical strip mall "Chinese" fast food. Dumplings are dense and bland, the dough too thick, accompanying sauce one dimensional, dull. Noodles were bland short and broken. Fried rice as boring and bland as imaginable.l Bland is the common theme with the food here. Service was annoyingly disinterested....change was handed to me in a wadded, folded mess. No reason to return. There is a Walmart down the road, you'd get better food from the frozen section. read more

Get what you want, but as for me and my house we almost always get 3-5 orders of dumplings. Uncle Bruce as we like to call him makes them by hand. They sell out of them quickly especially if I am hungry. Oh, don't even get me started on the Dragon & Firefly (Seafood Special) with a side crab rangoon and an egg roll! That might make me gain the 50+ pounds I've lost back if I'm not careful. read more

Was not a fan of the food here, but maybe it just didn't match with my personal preferences for Chinese takeout. The fried wings were tempura battered, the fried rice only had onions and the meat of choice - no veggies, and the lo mein was soggy and lackluster. The only thing I really enjoyed were the spring rolls; they were crisp and well filled. Won't be going back, super disappointed. read more

I live right down the street from Rice King, and have enjoyed it several times. Great value for great food. Prep time is extremely short, normally less then 10 minutes. I have only had a few things off the menu I don't like, but I adore the General Tso's special combination. Whenever my brother visits me from Johnson City, he practically demands we ordered from here at least a few times! read more

Finally found a good Chinese spot in the Maryville area! Great! Fresh! No MSG! I highly recommend the crab ragoons

Great beef n broccoli. I havent ever had a bad meal from them. Ive been there atleast a dozen times to get my chinese fix on I hope they stay forever cause they are so close to the house. They beat dominos hands down. I just wish they had delivery read more

This place isn't the swankiest, it's located in a strip mall. It does have good combos and a good staff. The food is great and fills the bill. A regular combo costs about $7. read more

Rice King II - Menu board and register - Chinese Near Me - Alcoa, Tennessee

Good food, staff is quick to make food. Not really a dine-in restaurant, although there are tables and chairs. They don't turn on ac in summer, just leave the door open and fan running. read more

My fiancé and I are regulars here, as we used to live right down the street. Food has always been really good quality, and prices are lower than I would expect. Be aware, though they have a few tables, this place specializes in takeout. They've got some basic drink offerings in 2-liter and 20oz, but don't expect a fountain or beer. Also, the staff barely speaks English, so don't expect much conversation, even though they seem friendly enough. Even after we moved to a new house with other Chinese restaurants closer, we still order our takeout from Rice King. It's worth the extra few minutes drive. read more

My favorite spot for fresh Chinese made to order!! Takes a little longer than normal to get ready but worth the wait. I only wish they offered delivery! read more

This is exactly what you would expect for a Chinese take out place. I have ordered there more than 10 times and the food has always been great! Other than the quality of the food what keeps me coming back is the cleanliness of the kitchen. You can see them cooking from the front counter. Do miss this place if you like Chinese. It the best around. read more

Stopped here to check the place out. The restaurant is nothing to look at. It is small and not decorated very well. The drink selection in very minimal. The food was good but I thought the portion size was small for the price. I fried dumplings were great but the sauce was cold. The general Tso"s chicken was okay. I've had better and I've had worse. If the portion size increased or the price was cheaper I would have given it 4 stars. read more
