The first thing you notice is the incredible noise. . Everything echoes off the walls. I could not carry on a conversation with my wife without leaning over the table. The lunch portions (pictured) were perfect. My wife ordered the Sweet and Sour chicken which was quite tasty. I ordered Kung Pao chicken which was described as being served in a spicy sauce and Hot and Sour Soup. Though the soup was served hot it was however not at all hot. Nor was the Kung Pao. Simple place- nothing fancy for dining in, for sure. Take-out was decent but nothing better or worse than most any other Chinese place. Menu is a bit odd-- it's like a cross between "hibachi" restaurants and basic Chinese. For example, they list various well-known sauce types then you pick whatever met you want with that sauce. So rather than listing more traditional Chinese dishes, they list a sauce, you pick the meat. Nothing wrong with it but nothing special. Food was OK, 3 stars. read more

Lo Mein tasted sweet and like spaghetti, chicken fried rice was okay, just not impressed. Tried someplace new for take out food. I ordered a couple of appetizers- pork pot stickers and chicken on a stick, chicken lettuce wraps. Of those, the chicken on a stick was really dry , the chicken lettuce wrap had a teriyaki sauce but again the chicken was dry, and my steamed pot stickers (aka dumplings) had no seasoning. The dipping sauce was really just soy sauce as far as flavor goes. My entree of chicken lo mein was okay. Still in need of more seasoning. It wasn't terrible but, for me, there are much better restaurants with more powerful flavors. read more

He did have his gold chain stuck to his chin, felt like someone bet him to see if anyone would say something. I didnt. Got home and all the sauce was at the bottom of my bag yet the container was closed. The fried rice tasted old ( very dry) as I was eating I crunched something and found this in my food. I ordered "curry fried rice". Before I got my order, they asked me what kind of rice I wanted. I said fried rice, because that is what I had already ordered. The sauce and shrimp were to the right of the rice. I had figured they would be mixed in. They weren't. The rice was average; the sauce was definitely not curry. It was fine. This is definitely an Americanized Chinese place. Definitely not authentic. But, it's OK. Just another in the long line of average to mediocre places to eat in East Tennessee. read more

Very disappointed with our visit. I had high hopes, as this place had good reviews on Google, but our first visit will be our last. It was $70 for: 1 chicken pad thai, 1 sweet and sour chicken, 1 general tso chicken with white rice, 1 Sesame chicken with lo mein, and 1 order of pork dumplings. $70 is definitely on the higher end, but considering the food we received, $70 is outrageous. The service was okay. She got my order wrong initially, but that probably could have been avoided if she had just written down our orders, instead of trying to memorize them. To be blunt, the food was not good. There was not a single thing that I would recommend. *The dumplings tasted like they had been frozen & microwaved. Tons of cabbage. *The sesame's chicken had only a few pieces of Sesame in it and it had a "sweet and sour/orange chicken" flavor. It didn't taste like sesame chicken at all. It was very stringy chicken. *The general tso chicken was weirdly shaped and didn't have much breading or the traditional sauce. The white rice was pretty average. *The sweet and sour chicken was tough. It's served with a lot of pineapple and bell pepper/onion (that's not really a critique, but take note if you have an allergy or are anti-pineapple/onion/pepper.) *The pad thai was average. Nothing bad to say about it but nothing great to say about it either. *The most disappointing food was the lo mein. It was horrid. I swear to God- I am 99% sure they used just regular spaghetti noodles. The noodles were too soft and didn't have the tooth that normal lo mein has. The sauce tasted like straight soy sauce with a mushroom flavor. It was watery. Lo Mein shouldn't be watery. And before you roll your eyes at me, just give me the benefit of the doubt and look at the picture and then if you disagree you can judge me. I scooped the noodles into the box so you could see how much liquid was sloshing around. I really wanted to like this place. But no dice. Onward and upward read more

Ordered Egg Drop Soup and Hot Sour Soup to try for first time. The Hot Sour tasted like a restaurant soup base with vinegar added to make it sour. The Egg Drop soup was brown, it did have a lot of egg which was nice but zero flavor. The Sesame Chicken had good flavor but they gave us no sauce to pour on it and we had to spend two minutes mixing and stirring to coat the chicken with the Tablespoon of sauce on the bottom. There were no garnish or vegetables, just chicken and rice. It looked nothing like the other photos in yelp, that show a rich glaze and lots of veggies. I ordered Steamed Chicken but it only comes with broccoli, carrot and onion. NO CHINESE VEGETABLES AT ALL! No cabbage, no water chestnut, no mushroom no bamboo shoots and no little corns. The staff were very nice but after our experience with the food, I will not be ordering again. Too bad! read more

It's a small place with only four tables. It was nice and clean and didn't have a menu above the counter like most cheap Chinese restaurants. I had the Kung Pao lunch special. One of the best I've ever had. There are so many versions of Kung Pao. This was amazing. I noticed a lot of take out traffic. Must be popular and I can understand why. read more

The place was very neat and clean. Our food was very tasty. We got pad Thai with chicken and Mongolian chicken with a request to be spicy. Portions were big and the server was pleasant and courteous. They also have various sauces for wings but we didn't try those. We will go back. read more
