Don't rate restaurants that often but, I should give a call out where it is due. First, I'm surprised at the negative star reviews, a lot of them are not food related or because of inconvenience which is understandable when volume picks up. People expect 100% all the time and use the one star rating to make their point. As for the food, best take out Chinese around...in fact best in inland empire! The food was delivered in a timely matter (although even if late wouldn't detract from the food review). But everything was perfect! Sweet and sour pork was crispy and sauce came on the side to prevent it from being mushy. Orange chicken was perfectly hot and crispy, which you could smell through the door when delivered. BBQ pork was exactly what I was looking for. Chow mein noodles and egg drop soup were just as good. And if the food wasn't great enough the portion size was beyond what we expected, we had 4 people eat and we still have leftovers for another 2 meals for 4. Look if you're looking for Chinese restaurant dim sum, then you're right this isn't that type of Chinese food. But if you're looking for classic take out that is fresh and doesn't taste like it's been sitting in a batch all day waiting to be sauced than this place. Bottom line I won't be ordering anywhere else for Chinese food, cant imagine anywhere else hitting everything out of the park and not worth risking disappointment. read more

My fault ordering Thai food at a Chinese place. Really only reason I dinged a star. It was ok but nothing near what I had in Thailand. Generals chicken extra spicy, this was good. Nice heat and a decent portion for the price. Kids got teriyaki bowls which they loved, 2 of them. Looks like two small chicken breast per bowl. Chow mien. Kids are that too and it had to be good because they are both picky about their food. All and all quick turn around for take out and all the food together was 39$. Food is great! Service is fast and courteous! Takeout and delivery services are awesome! We use the delivery service every New Years Eve as a tradition and we have never been let down. We've been trying to find a good Chinese place in Temecula for awhile, and finally we food this place which has good tasting food and is cheap. Chinese food should be cheap in my opinion. I refuse to pay for overpriced noodles. Anyway, most of the lunch combos here are $6.95 which is a great deal for a container full of yummies! I ordered the Shrimp in lobster sauce with chow mein and egg fried rice. Everything tasted great. The shrimp was nice and succulent!!! I just wish the meal came with more shrimps because it only had about 6 or so and the rest was like bell peppers and crap. The chow mein was bomb. But the egg fried rice was a tiny bit dry. My family was just driving around when my dad spotted this place and decided to try it out. We were seated quickly although there was a wait. We came on a Saturday afternoon and the place was filled with people dining in and taking out. They do have an affordable lunch menu which comes with very large portions - you definitely get what you pay for. Although the food was plentiful, I did not enjoy the rice or lo mean very much, it was bland. I tried the general chicken, Kung pao chicken, and the Mongolian beef which all had some good flavor to it. The thing about their food is that it's oily, especially the egg rolls that come with the lunch meal ( which I did not like at all because it had way too much pepper). Everything is served on disposable plates, even plastic utensils and styrofoam cups. The service is not very good and fairly slow which might be due to some language barrier that the servers have with the customers. It's an average place for Chinese food I guess if you're really craving it and need something cheap for lunch. Although I doubt you would be able to finish the food in one sitting. read more

We went twice so far. The first time on a Saturday night. I took it as a good sign that the line was to the door. The second time was on a weekday afternoon when it was nearly empty and we got a lot of attention. Pros: the open kitchen where you can see the food being cooked to order, the nice cuts of meat (whereas at other Chinese fast food restaurants the cuts of meat are more fat and tendons or pounded so thin it's barely recognizable as meat), the portions, reasonable prices, a pleasant ratio of meat, veggies, and carbs, and their awesome lunch menu. Cons: when it's busy, it's hard to get extra items like containers or the bill, and if you're missing parts of your order, don't expect it to be brought to you unless you hound them. The communication problem leads to misunderstood orders. However, I gave the restaurant 4 stars because if one were to go to any great Chinese restaurant in LA county, one sees the same type of service and food. Unless one brings a native speaker, the people taking the orders act the same, the people cooking are the same, pretty much everything is the same as that found in China One. One of the staple items I make my opinion on is the chow mein. If their chow mein is fresh, has the thick noodle texture and flavor, and has a reasonable ratio of meat, veggies, and carbs, then I know the rest of their menu is going to be great. The fact is, it's still flavorful, fresh Chinese food at extremely reasonable prices. I find it an encouraging sign when the people cooking the food correctly represents the name of the establishment, even if it means the person taking the order might not understand what I was saying. read more

The quality of food is similar to a Chinese restaurant or Peony's, but its quality is as good as it gets along with the price of food for lunch or dinner. You can sit in and order lunch specials or dinner specials that is similar to a Chinese restaurant. Don't get me wrong the food isn't bad at all its very delicious. My rating is based on the wow factor and can't beat other restaurants that deliver and provide "of quality" food. China One or "China Bros" deliver quality food but it lacks something that I can't really point out. I've had dined in and had food delivered to me and thought either choice is not bad to go with. Be aware that if you can't order food from someone speaking a different language please don't mock the person speaking over the phone and/or if you speak a different language and have difficulty speaking english please be patient with that person speaking over the phone. I decided to give them another chance, as it was on the way home, and my girlfriend (who is pregnant) was also having a craving for Chinese food. Today I was reminded NOT to come back here... We ordered 2 items to go~ house fried rice and chicken wings appetizers. I believe only one person was ahead of me upon ordering. To make a long story short, it took them 30 minutes to get my food cooked. Two tables who came 10 minutes AFTER me received their food and was practically done with their lunch when my "to go" order was finally ready. This is the third time it has happened where I waited over 30 minutes. And unfortunately the worker there couldn't care less that I had waited a long time. Not even a "sorry it took too long".
