Staff was very friendly and the food was very good. We live over an hour away and wanted to visit family who recommended this place. We are so glad we ate there. There was a very long line to get in after we were seated and I understand why because the food was very good and staff very caring and friendly. It was clean and no one in our party got sick. There were 6 of us. My husband and I do not normally do buffets but if we want to take over an hour drive and head north to get some good food we will go here. They have a mango Boba tea that was very tasty. Thank you staff for a great experience read more

Unfortunately it was closed. Big full dipsydumster out front. Not sure if they are permanently closed or remodeling . Be interested in what is going on with them. read more

Brand new so of course it's clean. Very good selection of foods on the buffet. Been to this new location twice and wasn't disappointed at all. Only real competitor is Ocean Seafood on highway 200. I think China Lee has a slight edge. read more

Truthfully I love Chinese buffets but not this one. Yes, there was plenty of food but none of it that I chose was any good. The ribs were awful. The hot and sour soup watery. I could go on, but it would be a waste of my time. If you like cold, tasteless overpriced Chinese food go to China Lee Bufffet. read more

Everything was clean, the food was tasty, and the music was super relaxing. Will def be coming back the mango peach tea is a must!

Food is very good. Building is beautiful. I have a couple complaints: 1. The entrance and exit door needs to be divided with a railing. Since incoming people are rude and block the exit. I had an issue with a lady and her teenage daughters blocking the exit and they refused to move. 2. Second, the lines coming in need to be routed along the rear side of the front, stopping the door from being blocked by people coming in. I know in the future the lines may not be as long. As of now the lines are going out into the parking lot blocking traffic and exiting the establishment. read more

We found this buffet during COVID times when the chinese buffets in Gainesville were shut down. I know, I know - but this place keeps it clean. You get gloves to use when choosing your food, tables were social distanced, plus the food was always hot (or cold - for sushi) and so delicious. Service is always great and very friendly. It's worth the drive. Don't judge this place by the location. We prefer this (much more so) to Ocean Buffet. read more

Pretty decent buffet but the service has not always been great. It's hit or miss. But they are ok as far as buffets go

The Food is excellent and fresh. The Service is excellent and constantly replacing and adding freshly cooked food. The best part of the experience is that when you walk in the dining area is well lite and kept very clean. We personally like a place where you can see your food and the surrounding area of the dining area. Love the place. We are not big on dining in buffets but this is a must. read more

Let me start this off with I'm an entertainment truck driver who's eaten at a lot of Asian Buffets, throughout the country. This is without a doubt the best I've ever had! If I could give them 10 stars I would! Food was fresh, with a lot of flavor. The sushi was outstanding with more choices than I've seen at an Asian buffet, with sashimi. The choices are also all a little different than you've had at most buffets. Would highly recommend this place and will be back when I'm in the area! Service was also outstanding!! read more

Full disclosure, I am very leery about buffets. The line was out the door early Wednesday evening. They move this line quickly to view the numerous offerings including a sushi, hibachi, fried Chinese dishes, American offerings, desserts, soups, seafood(baked fish was delicious) and salad bar. Super impressed by the staff keeping everything fresh, hot and clean. Would definitely return if in the area. Tip, get there as close to 3:30pm for the dinner buffet as you can. They did advertise a lunch buffet as well. read more

BEST CHINESE BUFFET I HAVE BEEN IN LIKE FOREVER!!! It's extremely clean and waiters dont make u leave until after they see u cant eat no more, the sushi bar is incredible. Only thing I missed was the ice cream but I went on lunch time so I guess they serve it at dinner. I would give u guys 10 stars if I could. read more

Good variety in food, good service. A little too loud for me. But overall good. I don't eat much so a senior price of $15.99 was pricey for me. read more

We keep checking to see if it's open already! We miss our last minute dinner trips out here. Never disappointed! We hope the food keeps tasting the same once the move is complete. read more

Great value and selection! We will definitely go back - food was fresh and varied. Pleasant atmosphere and servers very attentive

Great food, always fresh, always clean and great atmosphere and selections of dishes, hibachi and bobas.

It's located in a older shopping plaza and didn't look like much from the outside. Some of the food that doesn't get touched much was cold. They have a sushi bar and Mongolian grill! But again you could tell some of the sushi had been sitting out a while. The food that came out hot was good! No complaints. There was a wide variety of Asian foods, a large spread of salad and dessert, and even some kid/non-asian food. The price was reasonable for what you get. The restaurant was nice and open and the waitresses are quick. read more

China Lee Buffet - Chinese Near Me - Ocala, Florida

I love to come here when I need a quick meal. The hibachi bar is key. I pick my ingredients and request it be stir fried without oil. Fresh veggies and noodles with my favorite sauces. Healthy and delicious made quick. Service is always top notch. Always crowded but it's understandable and never slows down my experience read more

We went for lunch as part of a family gathering. Honestly, I don't like Chinese food and it don't like me much either. I was hoping to find SOMETHING- I went mainly to be with my family. BOY WAS I SURPRISED!! They had a wonderful selection of food and I had a lot to choose from that wasn't just pure Chinese. Although the General Tso chicken was fantastic! Loaded up on seafood, chicken, salads, fruit, and even a mellow and good egg roll. Good food, good value, good service - hope we get to go again. Recommended. read more

Visited China Lee yesterday for the first time and went with low expectations because Chinese food in Florida in general is awful. We're from the northeast, where good Chinese food is easy to find. China Lee was a pleasant surprise. When I looked it up online, I saw a huge facility with a large parking lot and now I know why. It was just before 5 and there was already a long line waiting to get in. They offer a vast array of tasty dishes, something for everyone. The only reason I didn't give them 5 stars is because their fried rice is plain, bland, and appears to just be brown rice and their "lo mein" is spaghetti. Still with a tasty sauce, but spaghetti. Their hot and sour soup also didn't have the taste we like and are used to. Luckily, all the other great dishes more than made up for these! Our server, Nancy was fantastic as well read more

Food is always good, however, I don't understand why they leave the doors open to allow flies in. Saw one crawling on top of food.

Nice variety of food, clean restaurant, decent prices. You'll find American food as well as Chinese food, a dessert bar & a salad bar.

Been there twice in the past month and tried new dishes from the first time and I was not disappointed, told my sister about the restaurant and her and her family went there the following day and they have been there three times already In MARCH they love how fresh the food is and how clean it was read more

Good food, the self serve food was changed quickly and the place was kept clean. This is a new location and it has being great.

I wish I could give this a 5, but sometimes I eat there and after 1 hour of eating I feel like my stomach is going to explode. But besides that, great food, great service, and great place. read more

Food was great, I really enjoyed their sushi the most! Unfortunately, they're really popular so there was a line outside the door. Even at 2pm on a Tuesday, but we did get in fairly quick too so not much to complain about. read more

Love this place. Great food, friendly people. Love the crab bake and appetizers. Ice cream and desserts are also very good

Been there a few times . They are the better of all the other buffets around.can't say so much for the ambiance.

Our Chinese friends who come from out of town love this place. They say it is the most authentic Chinese they have found in the U.S.

Decided to try China lee for the first time because of all the reviews. Wow, I have no idea where they were because we didn't find any hot, not even warm food. Everything was cold. We were never offered refills on our drinks. The ribs were rubbery. The fish had a good taste, but very cold. Sorry, will stick with Oceans Buffet. M read more

The VERY BEST Chinese food Buffett you'll find within 500 miles. No one does it like these guys do. The buffet selection and quality here is a bit better than the typical Chinese buffet. The raw oysters were much better than you usually find. Their egg rolls are also a little better than the bland ones on most buffets. I enjoyed the salt and pepper shrimp. When it comes to soups go try the Hot and Sour. The sushi wasn't high enough quality for me, I'm particular about that, but they do have some sliced avocado on the sushi bar area, which was good with the cucumber salad, the seaweed salad and cold cocktail shrimp. They also have several types of large cooked fish fillets, like salmon and several white fish as well as small pieces of fried fish, that were typically overcooked, as it is sadly on most buffets. And then they have the standard fruit, cookies, cakes and ice cream for dessert. As usual I feel guilty for eating more than the $11.99 price, on weeknights, it's worth it. You pay a higher price on Fri and Sat nights due to crab legs being included and that's a givin at all these types of establishments. read more

I've always had a difficult time getting my wife to eat here because she doesn't prefer a buffet but my family still went fairly often because the food was great. We waited for a couple of months to go once the new location opened because it was always packed. We have gone 3 times however giving China Lee the benefit of the doubt twice but after the 3rd really bad experience I can't imagine going back. The food was REALLY just not good...and it's really expensive $$$. I guess that's just the new norm. Expensive poor quality.... read more

I get a to go box where you pay by the pound. It's super easy, you get what you want! The food is the best
