Seared tuna, hibachi shrimp, soba noodles with cucumber, asparagus, roasted seaweed and seaweed salad
    Roxanne W.

Payton was excellent in helping us build our own poke bowls, so kind and patient. Very good to be sure I did not get any sauce with sugar, since I avoid that. My seared tuna, shrimp soba noodle bowl came with 3 toppings of our choice. Harv's spicy tuna and crab hit the spot for him! Very filling and healthy! Great early dinner option.

My Ramen noodles soup with shrimp very delicious tasty and filling

Last night was my first time visiting someone Samurai Hibachi and Ramen when you first walk in the atmosphere was very calm, but fun with the characters in Pokémon characters that displayed throughout the restaurant we started off with appetizer monkey brain and delicious appetizers that included a sampler appetizer plate, which was very delicious and afterward you have a choice of the hibachi which came in different meats and the Ramen noodles, which I chose the shrimp which was very tasty and delicious. I normally like to eat mine hot and spicy, but I forgot to ask for some chili sauce and we had the homemade Thai drink a little sweet, but it's nothing that's a little water couldn't bring it down, but other than that the service was spectacular. The was very helpful and very knowledgeable of what they were serving to you. They took their time and they explained to you as to what our party was getting. It was not that many people there went we arrived but as time went on, there was flooded of people coming in to let you know that the food is good because of the flood of People is coming back ,they served some chicken wings to all of us. They were so good till I had to order a takeout order of them for myself they're very delicious. I ordered three different flavors, barbecue teriyaki and a spicy but check out the menu that I'm posting on the underneath I'll give them five stars. I will give them 10 stars if I could but five is as high as it go. I will be returning my wife and I and we had a great time.

10/10 Experience! My husband and I have tried several local hibachi spots, and this one stands out above the rest. The service was fantastic--Katherine was our server and she was incredibly sweet, helpful, and full of great recommendations. I have a shellfish allergy, and they had no problem accommodating me, which I really appreciated. We both ordered the hibachi: my husband had shrimp and chicken, and I had pork belly and chicken--everything was fresh, flavorful, and served in generous portions. We also shared the spring rolls, fried dumplings, and vegetable tempura--every bite was We did not have room for dessert but will try it next time. We can't wait to go back!

The food here is always fresh, tasty and delicious. The service is fabulous! The ambiance is fun and welcoming, kid friendly and quite enjoyable and even though a casual restaurant the food exceeds expectations. You can get a variety of dishes, healthy options to choose or your norm "American" Japanese hibachi or ramen. Whatever you choose I think you'll be happy. My choice here is Tuna Tataki which was delicious, light and quite flavorful with a hint of spice. Also a Rainbow Ceviche Salad so light, tangy and delicious. Both freshly made and quite the delight! I know that you will enjoy your visit.

Food and service was very good. Smells delicious when you enter. Hibachi salmon is my favorite

I forgot how much I love a good poké bowl--until today. I was heading to see the new Final Destination movie and didn't want to overdo it on theater snacks like I usually do. I was short on time, so I placed a takeout order from Samurai Hibachi & Ramen--and I'm so glad I did. Not only was my food ready and waiting when I arrived, but the staff was extremely friendly and welcoming. That kind of service always makes a difference. I ordered a create-your-own poké bowl with brown rice, edamame, jalapeño, cilantro, hijiki seaweed, salmon, lime ponzu sauce, sesame seeds, crispy garlic, and pickled ginger. Everything was fresh, perfectly balanced, and seriously delicious. That lime ponzu sauce? I want it on everything now. I don't know when my next movie night will be, but I do know it's going to include dinner from Samurai.

Tried this new place today for a late lunch. Ordered hibachi steak with pork fried dumplings and salad for my sides, and ordered house soup as an extra. LOVED tge salad dressing! Also used it to dip my veggies in. Steak was tender, rice was great, and veggies were very tasty, too. House soup was a bit heavy flavored for me, but it was good. Maybe a beefy flavor vs a lighter chicken flavor. Don't get me wrong, it was good, just not my favorite. You must try it yourself and decide. Decorated restaurant is cute! Outdoor seating is available. Will be back again when I'm on that side of town. Yum yum sauce was good too, by the way! Server was very helpful and checked in on us frequently.

I have been looking for a great Poke bowl since I moved to Florida. I have found it! I had an amazing Tuna Poke. The tuna was very fresh. I asked for the upgrade to fried rice for my base. I also had cucumbers, edamame, seaweed salad, cilantro, topped with crunchy onions and crunchy garlic. The staff were all very nice and very accommodating. Can't wait to go again.

Had the ramen with chicken katsu, with tonkatsu soup and crab Rangoon as an appetizer. Excellent! So much we

Restaurant was clean, staff was very attentive and nice, food was amazing! Highly recommend!

For her it's good as the Pho's are gluten free. We also ordered the veg. Spring rolls with tofu (extra $1.50). We each had an order and they were very good. The dipping sauce for my wife was GF and tasty as was the peanut sauce. This all being said, we both felt that the Pho's were ok. We were hoping for a bit more flavor. The server didn't write the orders down and very typical as when not written, something is incorrect. She left off the fried onions from my Pho and had to request them. The goodies of basil, bean sprouts and items were a bit shy for us and after asking for more, the server brought more at no extra charge. Very nice! The food was sufficient and filled us up! We live…read morein The Villages, unfortunately there just aren't any authentic ethnic restaurants in The Villages. There are wanna be Chinese restaurants in The Villages but the food is Chinese-American and I would not even eat there or recommend them. Yummy House in Ocala was actually referred to us by the owner of Square 1 Burgers in The Villages, another fantastic restaurant but that's another review. Yummy House offers a variety of authentic Chinese dishes, and they also offer Dim Sum on weekends. The first time my spouse and I went there, we couldn't believe the choices. We used to always drive to Peter's Kitchen in Orlando but it was over an hour to drive there for us. Ocala was much closer and to be quite honest just as good as the restaurant in Orlando. Every dish I've ordered there has been out of this world. Which makes it so hard for me to choose my entrée. I do have a favorite server at Yummy House. His name is Ming. So, when I dine at Yummy House, I always ask to be seated at Ming's area. I also golf in Ocala which friends, about 8 to 12 of us. After golf, we normally have lunch together too. So, Yummy House is at the top of the list for us. When we do, I call the restaurant ahead to make a reservation and ask them to assign Ming to us. Ming always provides excellent service and especially with me being Asian, he kind of knows what type of dish I like and when I order a dish he will normally make suggestions to add to the dish or cook a certain way that knows I would like. He also makes suggestions to each person in our group and sometimes he'll tell them to try a dish that he's sure they've never had before. He tries to take them out of their comfort zone. They've always been happy with his suggestion. The restaurant itself reminds me of some of the Chinese restaurants I've been to that is not a fast-food restaurant. Very authentic inside. They also offer a beer called Lucky Buddha. I think everyone likes to order the beef because the bottle is in the shape of Buddha. Yesterday, we met friends at Yummy House who are visiting from Boston. Unfortunately, Ming was off and another server took care of us. He was a good server but just not like Ming who really goes out of his way to talk to you, joke and laugh. However, he was not a bad server but he was just there to provide server and do his job. So, I cannot fault him for that. So overall the entire experience yesterday was good. I highly recommend Yummy House if you are near the Ocala area and are craving for authentic Chinese food.

Con's- Didn't like the fact that when placing an order online you're forced to tip. (I don't mind tipping but prefer to tip when I pick up my order) Upon walking in it didn't smell too good. I had to ask for condiments and utensils. (In my opinion if I've already tipped before picking up my togo order utensils should've definitely been packed. I understand that condiments shouldn't be in bag as some don't want/need them.) Pros - Food was good and flavorful. Portion size was mediocre and average. However, this ramen was just as good, and I ate it right away. This was one of the best-tasting broths; I ordered the black garlic tonkotsu. The "umami bomb" profile sets it apart from standard varieties that only an authentic ramen place can do well. It was incredible! The noodles were bouncy and chewy, and the chashu was delicate and melt-in-your-mouth. I appreciated the separated noodles from the broth to preserve its texture. Like others, we were just passing thru Ocala and relied on Yelp reviews. If you really read their reviews, something is suspicious. I do agree with the failed health inspection on Jan 6, 2026. First, we were the only people for lunch at noon on a Wednesday. Although, there was evidence of other people having been there (dirty dishes in 3 of the booths - never cleared off the entire time we were there) A girl about 12 years old brought us water and spilled it on the table. The water tasted weird. We had to stand up and ask for someone to take food order. Odd since we were the only customers. We ordered chicken bento boxes and shrimp tempura. Up charged for "fried rice" - something about the rice was extremely off. It was like... chewy, mushy, and flavorless. Like it was bad sushi rice with soy sauce, carrots and corn. Not fried. The chicken pieces were about 2 inch strips or cubes...? the only utensil provided was a fork and chopsticks like, how am I supposed to eat this? I wish I hadn't. Texture was like saucy rubber. Truly, disgusting. Shrimp tempura came out as shrimp teriyaki but my mom ate it anyway. I thought it was weird they left the tails on saucy shrimp. Had to use hands to eat and our napkins had been used to sop up the water spill. They never brought more. My intuition said leave as soon as I walked in but I didn't want to be difficult for my small party. I should have trusted my gut and am paying for it 12 hrs later.
