Close to home and decent food. I don't like how the rice falls off the rolls when on with warm food and the sparce wasabi and ginger in the order. read more

After medical appointment nearby, my wife and I were looking for a place for a late lunch. We thought about Marcelina's but they don't open until 4 PM, so we pivoted and went to Hibachi 4U. It was just before 3 PM so we made the cutoff for Lunch Special. We had to place our order by the counter before sitting down in a booth with a number placed on our table. We both ordered the Hibachi Steak lunch special ($12.95) which came with salad, fried rice, grilled veggies and cubes of steak cooked medium. Service was a bit brusque but we didn't go there to make friends...so whatever. The salad was served in a clamshell and not a plate but it tasted fresh and the ginger dressing was good. The hibachi steak plate had good portions with this mound of fried rice. The steak was tender and flavorful, we didn't need the dipping sauce provided, but the grilled veggies weren't consistently hot. The fried rice was decent but wasn't hot either. All in all, we thought the flavors were good but could be better prepared by being consistently hot. The value was there even if the service was a bit detached. We both think we still prefer Akita to satisfy our desires for Japanese cuisine. Lunch for 2 with tip came up to just over $30. read more

We love the hibachi chicken here! For $10.95, the lunch special is the best and is enough for two meals. Today we asked for our to-go order to be prepared without mushrooms and they were so accommodating. We have never eaten in, but when I go in to pick-up, it seems very clean. The woman behind the counter, perhaps the manager (?), ensured that everything was exactly as we ordered. We substituted ranch dressing for the ginger dressing on the salad and she double-checked to ensure our happiness. This is a great little neighborhood spot! read more

I have try this place 3 time within a year. It wasn't good experience. I hate giving bad reviews. Just be careful! Restaurant food is not as good as it use to. The place is nice and clean. I like the boba drinks but very limited what to get. Had the Chicken teriyaki plate it's dry. Had the steak it's over cooked but fried rice was good veg was soggy. Did a DoorDash couple days ago. Combo hibachi and California rolls. Husband didn't like the chicken it was dry same here. Steak was ok wasn't great. Shrimp was good so I give them that. I didn't eat the California but my husband did he got sick all day. His stomach went crazy and start throwing up. He was sick for a day and had to get out of his system. So not a fan of the place anymore. read more

We visited Friday evening. The staff was very friendly and eager to help. They offer a variety of items including sushi. We tried the steak fried rice and the hibachi chicken. My husband liked his fried rice he did say it could have had more flavor - the steak and chicken was small cut in strips and I felt it was skimpy on the amount of meat vs rice. My hibachi chicken was prepared with care due to shellfish allergy which I appreciated. The flavor was good although I found the chicken was a bit tough. All and all the place is nice and we will probably try it again and try something else. read more

Avoid this place. Ordered shrimp Hibachi. The shrimp were burnt. Took forever for them to make and they burnt the shrimp. Absolutely no way the chef didn't know it was burnt. Since it was a take out order they just didn't care. Called them they were useless. Find another place for sushi. The roll we got was also horrible. You could tell the ingredients were old. read more

Good food, basically self service go to register, order the choices, pay and someone will bring food to your table. Food is very good and choices are good. I prefer a server taking order st table versus standing in line to order and pay. It is therefore a fast food establishment, that food is very good and I understand the concept however not my type of dining out. Still will give 4 stars for food quality read more

Hibachi 4u - Chicken fried rice. Fried crab rangoon. - Japanese Near Me - Ocala, Florida

We tried this place for the first time today. I would say it's off to a good start, but I really hope they make improvements. there were quite a few people sitting around that greeted us and I'm going to assume they were the owners, they were very nice. The restaurant wasn't very full, but it just opened and people don't know about it yet. You can eat in but you don't order at the table. The prices are the same as any of the other hibachi places in the area that will take your order and serve you so that's a little odd. They have a good variety of food but I'm not sure the staff at the counters are sure about everything they serve. We tried a variety of things to see how they were. The first thing I did was order gyoza and before I went to pay, I had to remind the kid that it wasn't there, instead of asking me if I wanted it steamed or fried, he just told me that I never told him that I wanted it. It wasn't a great start, I did in fact tell him, and I also said I wanted them steamed but as you see in the picture, they were just a deep-fried mess and inedible. nobody ever came around to ask us if we enjoyed the food or how everything was so nobody really knew that we thought a couple of the items were bad. I ordered Kani salad; it was 99% cucumber, 5% fried onion and 5% imitation crab meat. If anybody's ever had it, you know that it should be mostly crab meat, but they're clearly saving money by loading in the other cheap items. wouldn't waste my money on it. I ordered rolls from the lunch special and they were fine, I had no complaints. I asked what came in a couple of the other rolls and he wasn't really sure. We also got the steak hibachi and my kid liked it a lot. we got soup instead of the salad, maybe the miso will be better about the clear soup had no flavor. I ordered a tiger milk Boba tea, it was pretty good. Basically, we will try it again because of the proximity to where we live, it would be nice to have a local hibachi place, but they need to do better on the quality and taste of their food. read more

I ordered a boba drink and almost choked on a damn fingernail and when I went to the front to tell them about this fingernail I almost choked on, no one seemed fazed at all. I'm very disgusted with how no one cared about a FINGERNAIL in my drink. I had to ask for a refund on my drink because they wouldn't have offered it. I will never come here again and I DON'T RECOMMEND coming here either unless you want to choke on a fingernail. I'm not a person to be rude to workers because I used to work in fast-food and retail myself but for this situation I had to put my foot down because again no one cared I almost choked on a nail. read more

"I recently ate at Habachi 4U Grill and Sushi, located right in front of Walmart on SR200 West, and it's officially my new favorite spot for sushi. This place is a standout--not just for the incredible food, but for the most cordial staff and a level of cleanliness that goes beyond anything I've seen. Walking in, I was instantly greeted with warm smiles and a genuine welcome that made me feel right at home. The entire team, from the servers to the chefs, was so friendly and attentive, checking in just enough to make sure I was happy without ever being intrusive. It's rare to find service this heartfelt, and it made the meal unforgettable. The cleanliness here is next-level. The dining area was spotless--tables gleaming, floors pristine, and the sushi counter looked like it was straight out of a showroom. Even with the busy location near Walmart, they maintain an environment that's immaculate and inviting, which really sets them apart. It's clear they care about every detail. The sushi itself was out of this world. Fresh, perfectly crafted, and packed with flavor--I had the spicy tuna roll and a hibachi special, and both were phenomenal. The presentation was beautiful, too, making every bite a treat for the eyes and the taste buds. The staff even took a moment to ask how I liked each dish, which just added to the personal touch. Habachi 4U Grill and Sushi is a must-visit. If you want top-notch sushi, a staff that treats you like family, and a spotlessly clean restaurant, head to SR200 West--you won't be disappointed. Five stars all the way!" read more

There is no "Hibachi" at Hibachi 4U. Fast food with poor service. Stay away. Not at all what you think it will be.

A lesson learned in not judging a book by its cover! First time here and we walked into what looks like a tiny McDonald's from the early 90s. My gut reaction when I saw they had a drive-thru was that this place was going to be awful. Boy was I wrong! I love hibachi and have I been spoiled by living in and near NYC for most of my life until I moved here. I've been to several hibachi restaurants in and around The Villages since I've moved here and wasn't disappointed, but Hibachi 4 U beat them all and all the ones I've been to in and around NYC for excellent tasting food. I was pleasantly surprised. Run, don't walk, to eat here. I'm kind of glad it's far from my house or I could see eating here regularly and getting fat and broke. read more

We had Harman from Hibachi4You for our New Year's Eve dinner. He was very kind, however he showed up unprepared. Even after confirming with the company that plates and utensils would be included, they were not provided to him resulting in us having to do dishes on NYE - something we wanted to avoid. Additionally, he did not have the noodles that we had requested well in advance of his arrival. Also, the show was lackluster. Bagged salad was self-served, and the Blackstone griddle was too small to put on an entertaining show. Other than that food was good. read more

The food is good only problem was parking and not a lot of choices for sushi other things were tasty fried rice was great

Great food and selection. Hibachi or teriyaki available along with sushi Good for lunch or casual dinner.

Price is very reasonable and you get generous size portion for meals. Food is very fresh. Staff is very friendly

Ate there 5/24 at 11 am, shrimp tempura was under cooked and sent back for credit, wife had veg with noodles, I had shrimp and chicken with fried rice. Her meal was bland, my meal was bland, and rice was over cooked and falling apart. We both had about 20% of our meals and took the rest home to throw away. I gave the Mgr my under cooked tempura and asked for a credit, she took the app and issued a credit, never applogized, did not offer to remake it, other two apps we had were just ok, the Mgr or the male employee never came to table to check on us, when we asked for our to go boxes they did not comment on how much we were taking home. We will not go back to this place. Only 1 other family in resturant, not sure why the mgr didn;t haver time to check on us, apologize or thank us for coming in. Should have gone to Yummy House our original plan, we drove from Inverness to be disappointed. read more
