Great selection of sushi rolls, always tastes great! My daughter and I have been here twice now. Each time the service was excellent.

This place never disappoints me or my husband! Even though they had a large birthday party, they still served with the best service. Can't wait to go back and eat here again!

Lunch at ocala on our way back to Biloxi in Christmas Day. Place is kinda quiet with peaceful music. Boba drink is delicious not too sweet with popping boba. Sushi is yummy.

Pretty good pricing and tasted good as well. The sushi was 6$and the boba was $4! Hard to find prices like that anywhere else

First time here. The soup and salads was very good. The apple soft shell crab was excellent. The sushi was great and tasty. The coconut shrimp bento box was loaded. Our server was outstanding. The place however needs a little spring cleaning. From the main road looks like the place is closed. Park around back.

You can't beat the lunch specials here! 2 rolls for $10 (with soup and salad) or 3 for $13. They stuff the rolls with the perfect fish to rice ratio and have a large variety to choose from. I ordered spicy tuna roll and Tampa roll. Service was quick and staff was friendly. Next time I'll try the hibachi and a dessert!

Food was amazing and service was quick and very welcoming. The sushi entrees had a great selection at a very affordable price, especially the love boat that came with a choice of 2 special sushi rolls was a steal! Highly recommend this place for the quality and service.

Let's start this review with the most important aspect of the entire place.... Buy one get one 1/2 off on all sushi rolls. The icing on the cake is that the rolls are delicious, full of flavor and plenty of filling. I also love their chicken udon noodles and the Pad Thai (spelled funny on their menu) is some of the best I've ever had and I'm picky. Do yourself a favor and order a large hot sake for under $8 and enjoy it. It's the largest serving of Sake I've ever been given. Disclaimer: don't order the large sake at lunchtime unless you're looking for a good buzz so you can forget what your boss yelled at you for earlier.

1 outta 10 would not be coming back, I love Asian food and trying new places but this one left much to be desired. I order honey dew melon boba tea since it was on the menu... it was awful... warm and very powdery. The food had no flavor. The staff were very nice but the food wasn't that great at all. Even the sushi wasn't very good the chicken was okay. The soda was flat it was like flat seltzer. I will not be coming back and I will be letting my friends and family know as well. Just wasn't a fan. The ambiance was also very dated the tvs at nearly every booth probably is like an overkill on top of that

As I eat my dinner I can't stop saying with every Wow, that's good. From the soup dumpling, to the Krab meat rangoons, and OMG the Volvano Roll. Amazing food. Definitely try this place. Congrats to the owner for this amazing surprise.

First time going to this place in town and I can honestly say I'm surprised they have 4stars in Yelp app because this is the ONLY reason why I came and left feeling dissatisfied and still hungry! The service was decent but the food not so great. I ordered the steamed gyoza and when they came out they did not look cooked and they were too hard to eat, the pork fried rice I ordered had corn which is totally weird and doesn't look great. The rice actually had no flavor and was very greasy. I'd say the only thing I actually enjoyed was the sushi. The Mermaid sushi is worth the money for sure. Sorry to say but won't be coming back to this place

Great quality sushi, nice sized portions at good prices. I was there for lunch and if I lived closer I'd be there quite often.

It's a small, unpretentious but pleasant atmosphere. The staff is great. It doesn't have Banh mi sandwiches, which I was hoping for, but we ordered the bun tom nuang (vermicelli BBQ shrimp) and it was fantastic, and for a decent price.

For her it's good as the Pho's are gluten free. We also ordered the veg. Spring rolls with tofu (extra $1.50). We each had an order and they were very good. The dipping sauce for my wife was GF and tasty as was the peanut sauce. This all being said, we both felt that the Pho's were ok. We were hoping for a bit more flavor. The server didn't write the orders down and very typical as when not written, something is incorrect. She left off the fried onions from my Pho and had to request them. The goodies of basil, bean sprouts and items were a bit shy for us and after asking for more, the server brought more at no extra charge. Very nice! The food was sufficient and filled us up! Would we come back? Maybe not for a while. We were hoping for a bit more Pho flavor. We would give them 3.5 stars this time. Sorry....

We live…read morein The Villages, unfortunately there just aren't any authentic ethnic restaurants in The Villages. There are wanna be Chinese restaurants in The Villages but the food is Chinese-American and I would not even eat there or recommend them. Yummy House in Ocala was actually referred to us by the owner of Square 1 Burgers in The Villages, another fantastic restaurant but that's another review. Yummy House offers a variety of authentic Chinese dishes, and they also offer Dim Sum on weekends. The first time my spouse and I went there, we couldn't believe the choices. We used to always drive to Peter's Kitchen in Orlando but it was over an hour to drive there for us. Ocala was much closer and to be quite honest just as good as the restaurant in Orlando. Every dish I've ordered there has been out of this world. Which makes it so hard for me to choose my entrée. I do have a favorite server at Yummy House. His name is Ming. So, when I dine at Yummy House, I always ask to be seated at Ming's area. I also golf in Ocala which friends, about 8 to 12 of us. After golf, we normally have lunch together too. So, Yummy House is at the top of the list for us. When we do, I call the restaurant ahead to make a reservation and ask them to assign Ming to us. Ming always provides excellent service and especially with me being Asian, he kind of knows what type of dish I like and when I order a dish he will normally make suggestions to add to the dish or cook a certain way that knows I would like. He also makes suggestions to each person in our group and sometimes he'll tell them to try a dish that he's sure they've never had before. He tries to take them out of their comfort zone. They've always been happy with his suggestion. The restaurant itself reminds me of some of the Chinese restaurants I've been to that is not a fast-food restaurant. Very authentic inside. They also offer a beer called Lucky Buddha. I think everyone likes to order the beef because the bottle is in the shape of Buddha. Yesterday, we met friends at Yummy House who are visiting from Boston. Unfortunately, Ming was off and another server took care of us. He was a good server but just not like Ming who really goes out of his way to talk to you, joke and laugh. However, he was not a bad server but he was just there to provide server and do his job. So, I cannot fault him for that. So overall the entire experience yesterday was good. I highly recommend Yummy House if you are near the Ocala area and are craving for authentic Chinese food.

Con's- Didn't like the fact that when placing an order online you're forced to tip. (I don't mind tipping but prefer to tip when I pick up my order) Upon walking in it didn't smell too good. I had to ask for condiments and utensils. (In my opinion if I've already tipped before picking up my togo order utensils should've definitely been packed. I understand that condiments shouldn't be in bag as some don't want/need them.) Pros - Food was good and flavorful. Portion size was mediocre and average. Maybe later we will go and try the dim sum but if the smell is there when we walk in we will walk right back out.

I tried several other places in Ocala/The Villages area and nothing competes with this cute little restaurant nearby publix. It's not a super fancy place but the food delivers, and that matters more than anything else. The bubble teas here are not half bad either. This time, we also tried the Takoyaki and it was on point, tender and juicy on the inside! The broth of the black garlic tonkotsu is well worth the price of this dish. It's hearty and flavorful. My only setback, as a person that cooks this dish at home as well as orders it whenever possible, is that the Chashu, this time around was a little on the drier side and the cut is also on the thinner side. However, getting a Chashu to that right tender texture is really not easy to do, and since it was very tender on the first time we went to eat here, I don't fault it that much. Other than that the ramen is absolutely to die for. The host/waitress was also very cute and kept checking on us to see if we are satisfied or need anything else.
