Very fun interior and was covered in anime memorabilia. Good amount of tables to sit at for the traffic it receives. The employees were nice and I think I got my boba and ramen within 3 minutes of ordering. I was skeptical about the quality at first, especially because it comes in a plastic ramen bowl/there is no real dishes used, but the soup itself was incredibly flavorful, and they are VERY generous in their pork belly portions. 3 huge, thick slices for one bowl, and extremely reasonably priced. I would definitely recommend if you're looking for somewhere satisfying, yummy, and filling. Had a great experience.

It was just before 3 PM so we made the cutoff for Lunch Special. We had to place our order by the counter before sitting down in a booth with a number placed on our table. We both ordered the Hibachi Steak lunch special ($12.95) which came with salad, fried rice, grilled veggies and cubes of steak cooked medium. Service was a bit brusque but we didn't go there to make friends...so whatever. The salad was served in a clamshell and not a plate but it tasted fresh and the ginger dressing was good. The hibachi steak plate had good portions with this mound of fried rice. The steak was tender and flavorful, we didn't need the dipping sauce provided, but the grilled veggies weren't consistently hot. The fried rice was decent but wasn't hot either. All in all, we thought the flavors were good but could be better prepared by being consistently hot. The value was there even if the service was a bit detached. We both think we still prefer Akita to satisfy our desires for Japanese cuisine. Lunch for 2 with tip came up to just over $30.

Like others, we were just passing thru Ocala and relied on Yelp reviews. If you really read their reviews, something is suspicious. I do agree with the failed health inspection on Jan 6, 2026. First, we were the only people for lunch at noon on a Wednesday. Although, there was evidence of other people having been there (dirty dishes in 3 of the booths - never cleared off the entire time we were there) A girl about 12 years old brought us water and spilled it on the table. The water tasted weird. We had to stand up and ask for someone to take food order. Odd since we were the only customers. We ordered chicken bento boxes and shrimp tempura. Up charged for "fried rice" - something about the rice was extremely off. It was like... chewy, mushy, and flavorless. Like it was bad sushi rice with soy sauce, carrots and corn. Not fried. The chicken pieces were about 2 inch strips or cubes...? the only utensil provided was a fork and chopsticks like, how am I supposed to eat this? I wish I hadn't. Texture was like saucy rubber. Truly, disgusting. Shrimp tempura came out as shrimp teriyaki but my mom ate it anyway. I thought it was weird they left the tails on saucy shrimp. Had to use hands to eat and our napkins had been used to sop up the water spill. They never brought more. My intuition said leave as soon as I walked in but I didn't want to be difficult for my small party. I should have trusted my gut and am paying for it 12 hrs later.

Atmosphere was quiet but our booths were duck taped together because of rips. So this was definitely more about finding a quality restaurant than atmosphere. Service was sporadic as we were only two couples in entire restaurant but almost felt than we were an inconvenience if we needed our water refilled. Food was decent, sushi was adequate and so was the bento box my wife had. Nothing stood out. I would probably give it a 2.5 stars so I'm rounding up like my math teacher taught me.

We've been searching for a place that consistently delivers quality, and unfortunately, this wasn't it. I ordered my usual volcano roll along with another house roll, while my son chose two different house rolls. The restaurant being a bit busy gave me some hope, but that didn't translate to the food. The volcano roll was a letdown from the first bite. The second roll was slightly better, but still nothing I'd go back for. My son enjoyed his meal, though his standards are a bit more forgiving than mine. One noticeable issue was the rice--there was so little of it that the nori was visible through the roll. Rice is the most basic and cost-effective ingredient, and skimping on it made the rolls feel lacking in both substance and balance. Overall, I wasn't impressed with the food. The presentation was solid, but that alone isn't enough to carry the experience. Service and ambiance were decent, but not standout. 2 out of 5 stars. TTFN

There must've been 7-8 tables occupied while we were eating lunch but service was efficient. My wife, always eager to try new things, ordered the Tofu Teriyaki bento with fried gyoza instead of shrimp shumai (shellfish allergies). She also ordered an Alaska roll. I opted for the Hibachi Combo of steak and shrimp. I also ordered a Spicy Tuna roll. Upon tasting the tofu teriyaki, my wife's eyes got big and said OMG! She was wowed by the flavors! She thinks, for that dish alone, Akita deserves 5 stars! So here I am updating my review. Perhaps my wife will keep on ordering this dish for our future visits.

Having been open for about 3 months, my wife saw one of those Facebook ads/videos and thought we should check it out. I love sushi BUT All You Can Eat (AYCE) joints give me pause. There seems to be a wide variance with quality and value. Upon walking in, the first thing we noticed was how bright and spacious this place is. We were seated promptly and perused the menu. We decided to pace ourselves instead of ordering everything all at once. We started out with some vegetable tempura, spicy tuna roll, two pieces of gyoza, edamame and some nigiri (two pieces each of unagi, tuna and shrimp and one inari). All of them were quite good with the unagi standing out. Our next orders were for Ocala roll and Spicy Grill roll. Both good. I ordered a couple more unagi then an order of Dancing Eel Roll (very good) for me and Sweet Potato roll for my wife. We had to throw in the towel after that...but our very capable server, Tommy, convinced us to have some ice cream as a palette cleanser. We were both very satisfied with our visit to Sushi Feast. We were there for over an hour! Fresh and tasty sushi, great service, bright and clean space, and good value! We will surely be back. Lunch for 2 came out to just over $51 with tip.
