Pretty amazing Chinese food. Delicious and fresh I hand very very friendly and prompt service. Ambiance is what you would want in a Chinese restaurant and it's CLEAN! Love the dim sum and love the food. Pork and Szechuan dishes are delightful

Our daughter picked this place because she knows I love Almond Boneless Chicken. She thought this was going to be a sure thing. Unfortunately, they've never heard of the Michigan dish. Their version is more like Moo Goo Gai Pan. Max and I got an order of egg rolls. Their version is more like spring rolls. I got the crispy noodle dish minus the scallops and calamari. It was good, but I've had better. Max got the fried rice and that was spot on. Our server was very friendly and helpful. The reason for the rating is because we were told by many locals that they are the best. It must be true because it was a full house.

The food is amazing. So far I've been enjoying the house fried rice. We tried the spring rolls and those were delicious too. Also the service is friendly and the atmosphere is beautiful. Yummy house is always busy and I am so happy that after 7 months of searching the perfect authentic Chinese restaurant my husband and I finally found it. Truth be told he found this place first and we love it!!! Both meals came to about $27.. $12.99 for the house fried rice and $11.99 for like shrimp fried rice or pork fried rice. Plus you get quite a bit of food for your money.

    Saturday and Sunday menu's

on weekends not tasty, cooked in advance, not fresh. Monday - Friday very tasty. fried rice is the best in town. Service very nice. Classic Chinese ambiance .

We got to the restaurant right as it opened on Sunday. We always enjoy their Salt and Pepper Calamari. Crisp and tasty! Today we had one order of Dim Sum Fried Shrimp Balls and some steamed dumplings which were delicious. For an entree I had Pepper Steak with rice. For some reason I don't equate beef with Chinese food, I usually order chicken or seafood, but I found this beef dish to be very satisfying. In the past I've ordered Kung Po Chicken and it is always is terrific. Food is always served amazingly quickly and piping hot. Drinks are kept full.

We drove here after seeing praise on Talk of The Villages. All the strip mall tiny Chinese places in The Bubble are the same swill over and over, with few if any tables. AMBIENCE: 4 STARS Pleasant, busy, orangey. SERVICE: 5 STARS Team service. Came out lightening fast, and hot. SWEET AND SOUR CHICKEN: 4 STARS It isn't my dish, but I thought it was tasty. SPICY YUMYY COMBO: 4.25 STARS Tasty, an no spit out gristle in the beef, bravo I say. VALUE: 3.5 STARS The base price is ok for amount and quality, but I wish the lunch specials were structured differently, as in base plus one app is $+, base plus two apps is $++. Mrs Robert usually adds pork straps when she gets sweet and sour, but to do that here, we had to get a large side of those, so I had to forgo getting any side that I usually get. Happily thought I liked the honey pork, again ,no gristle. SUMMARY: OPEN A YUMMY IN THE BUBBLE The shirts on the staff indicate that there are a few YUMMY locations. Perhaps they can find some desolate cattle field on Route 44 in Wildwood and bring YUMMY Delight down south.

I have been to both of the other Yummy House locations, seversl time in Tampa and sadly, this was my worst experience. One of our orders came out completely wrong with the noddles. We know our noodles and what size and width they should be. When we brought it to their attention, we were told we needed to order a completely different dish when we just asked for a side of the correct noodles. Personally, just asking for a side vs. an entire dish seemed easier. The server wasn't having it. Finally, asked for a manager to discuss the issue and it was taken off our bill. Which is the only reason they get 2 stars. It shouldn't have been this difficult or took that long to correct

My go to here is their honey walnut shrimp for lunch special it use to be 7.99 and it comes with a drink. I believe they have gone up to 10.99 . The Altamonte location is in an nice area and the people are nice. Definitely a go to spot for lunch

Jacksonville, and Orlando offer up some rich and diverse cuisine and that it's not uncommon for us to drive an hour to get good food. Living in Central Florida it is hard to get really good Dim Sum. But all that changed today when we visited the Dim Sum Express, located in Palm Coast. The place is a little hard to find, located in a beautiful strip mall behind the local Texas Roadhouse. Don't let the location of this place deceive you because this place is pure gold for those who love Dim Sum. The place is also very small, perhaps 4 or 5 tables, but you will be rewarded with some very fine food. We had heard of this place via the Internet, and, despite some glowing reviews, we were wary of them before we decided to check it out. And boy, were we pleasantly surprised. And what made Dim Sum Express exceed our expectations? The food, of course, both the freshness and taste of it. Many so-called Dim Sum places don't move the dumplings and meat enough to ensure freshness, with noticeable freezer and refrigeration taste, and the best ones make their items from scratch in house. Now I'm not sure what Dim Sum Express does, but the freshness and taste could not be denied here. We started out with the Cucumber Salad with Chili Oil. Talk about a palate awakening as the freshly cut sweetness of the cucumbers tasted delightful mixed with the spicy chili oil and fish sauce. Another winner was the Steamed Bok Choy severed with a sweet sauce that was very delicious. The Steamed Spare Ribs were also very tasty with the small pork riblets with black bean sauce were both fresh and savory. Now, the test of any Dim Sum place is always the dumplings and the Dim Sum Express served up some of the tastiest Classic Pork Shumai and Shrimp Shumai dumplings that we've ever had anywhere. These were the dishes that we had, and they also served other classic Chinese dishes, however, we were their for the Dim Sum and in Dim Sum Express we found a winner. Just how this place which has been open for the past six months and went under our radar is baffling. The whole meal, and it was very filling, came to $41 with tax, And I'm happy to report that we have finally found our place for Dim Sum in the Central Florida area.

I always order a lot of dishes because I like what I like and I also know I'll have leftovers. I sent back the pan fried taro pudding because it was so bland and it didn't have many of the main ingredients in it. If it were there, it was so skimpy I didn't find any. (The Chinese sausage and dried shrimp) The pain fries soy sauce noodles were overcooked. It's suppose to be pan fried and it was not. Also very skimpy on the black mushrooms. Not very flavorful. The Steamed shrimp dumplings were mediocre. The skin was gummy and fell apart. The shrimp filling wasn't too bad. The shrimp with rice pasta was probably the best dish there. But it was still lacking in flavor. The steamed ribs with black bean sauce was very bland. The ribs were tough and tasteless. The braised chicken feet were over cooked. The texture was horrible like eating mush. The flavors were also off. The egg tarts looked good but the flavors again were off. Borderline going bad. It had that slight aftertaste of sourness. The shell was also flavorless. The BBQ pork buns were also disappointing. The ratio of bread to filling was off. Very small amount. But I was a little happy this happened because the filling didn't taste good at all. The hot tea was also disappointing. I always order jasmine tea when having dim sum. They used a low quality tea bag instead of real loose jasmine tea leaves which also includes the flowers. No fragrance at all of Jasmine tea. Needless to say, I will not be going back on my next visit. It was very expensive for what they give you. Especially since the food was so bad. I gave it two stars because the service was very good and the view was decent. I am Chinese... born in Hong Kong. So I know what dim sum should taste like. I wish I had seen the review that had a photo of the salt and pepper shrimp before I went because I would not have gone. Their salt and pepper shrimp is not authentic and I would have not gone and saved myself $80 for my lunch.

I had heard great things about it and hadn't gotten the chance to go until recently. This is mostly because they're located in Windermere, which is a bit aways from most of Orlando. It was chosen as the dinner location for a work dinner for Asian American Heritage Month. May might be over, but Asian food is forever. It's in a very cute location with shops around and ample of parking. They had tables set aside for us and they have a full menu as well as the dim sum menu, which you mark how many of an item you want. Family style dining as is most Asian dining. The interior is super nice and it does feel upscale. They have large tables and some smaller ones but it's not a huge restaurant space. This means the meals feel very cozy and intimate. We got the squid ink shrimp dumplings and regular shrimp dumplings. They were both a 9/10. I will say that squid ink anything does not add to the flavor, just the color of the food. Squid ink is slightly more expensive. The shumai was a 9/10. By the way the dumplings were huge and about 4 pieces per order. We tried the curry fish balls, which essentially is fish balls like the ones you get at hot pot cooked in a yellow curry. It was my first time trying this and I thought it was just ok. This was a 5.5/10. Some ordered beef and broccoli for the table and it was delicious. Definitely a large dish to be shared. That was an 8.5/10. We tried their wonton soup which came with noodles and bok chop. This was an 8/10. The fried shrimp balls were excellent and is a 9/10 for me. Normally, I think they are either too savory or oily. However, these ones had great crips and really well balanced flavor. We tried my favorite dim sum dish, which is the rice rolls with shrimp. This was a 6/10 for me. It just wasn't my favorite one that I have had. We also tried the mango custard bun, which was a 8/10. Overall, I would give them a 8/10. It is a little on the more pensive end for dim sum but the atmosphere is nice and service is pretty good. I love dumplings. I could eat dumplings any day, all day. It truly is one of those things I would have as a part of my last meal on Earth.

Tucked away off Old St. Augustine Road in Mandarin, Lucky Cat Dim Sum serves some of the freshest dim sum in Jacksonville. Everything arrived steaming hot, a small detail that makes a big difference. Dim sum is meant to be eaten fresh from the basket, not after a leisurely stroll around the dining room. The classics were all excellent. The chicken shu mai were substantial, flavorful, and held together beautifully. The black pepper beef short ribs were fall-apart tender. The fried shrimp balls delivered the kind of crunch that announces itself before the flavor arrives. The barbecue pork bun was pillowy soft and packed with a sweet-savory filling that lingered long after the last bite. Dessert was equally successful. The mango mochi had the ideal chew and was loaded with chunks of ripe mango. The taro Lucky Cat bun, shaped like the restaurant's mascot, could have coasted on appearance alone. Instead, the filling was smooth, lightly sweet, and thoughtfully restrained. What separates Lucky Cat from every other dim sum restaurant in Jacksonville is its willingness to have fun. The menu is filled with East-meets-West creations that could easily become gimmicks in less capable hands. Everything Bagel Buns, Buffalo Chicken Buns, and other familiar flavors offer diners an approachable gateway into the world of dim sum. The standout was the Cheeseburger Shu Mai. It sounds like the sort of thing that should fail spectacularly. Instead, it works. Seasoned ground beef wrapped in a delicate shu mai wrapper and topped with melted cheese. The beef carried a bold Cajun kick, the cheese added richness, and somehow the whole thing remained balanced. It tasted far bigger than a single bite had any right to. I've eaten at every dim sum restaurant Jacksonville has to offer, and Lucky Cat stands at the top of the list. It delivers the classics with confidence while bringing enough creativity to keep even seasoned dim sum fans interested. I cannot remember her name for the life of me but she was super attentive and everything came out as ordered. I mean the entire staff was friendly. Hubs and I ordered the 3 course meal deals. It has been years since I have been to Bonefish so I was not sure if the house salad was the same as I remembered so I ordered the dressing it comes with as well as the Bleu cheese dressing. Both were very good. I was able to order the shrimp but have them fried and they were perfect. They were huge and of course I could not get through half of them. Hubs ordered the burger and he really enjoyed it. We ordered the brownies for our desserts but took them to go. We recall having positive experiences there so we were eagerly anticipating a late lunch after a dentist visit. It was just past 3 PM but the well appointed place was still quite busy. Within a couple minutes from walking in, we were led to our booth and presented the menu. We were drawn to the "curated" menu items where the chef paired fish with sides. My wife ordered the bourbon- glazed salmon with roasted new potatoes and Mexican street corn (elotes) and I tried their pan seared ahi which came with jasmine rice and shaved Brussels sprouts. We also ordered the chicken egg rolls as an appetizer. We were initially served complimentary crusty bread with a pesto dipping sauce which was good if not a bit heavy on the salt. The egg rolls had good flavors and came with Thai sweet chili sauce and what's supposed to be a tangy mustard sauce (not too tangy according to my wife). My wife's salmon was fresh and flaky but she thought the potatoes were overdone and too soft and she didn't care for the pairing of Mexican corn with a bourbon glaze. My ahi tuna was fresh and had good flavors but just like my wife, I came away underwhelmed with the recommended sides. The jasmine rice was overcooked and was soft while the Brussels sprouts could've been steamed to soften it up a bit. All in all, a disappointing experience. It reminded me of how one would hearken back to fond memories of loving Spaghetti Os when you were younger...only to taste it as an adult and spit it out because it tasted bad. Yeah...something like that. Value wasn't there either. Lunch for 2 came out to just under $77.
