Fantastic dim sum Absolutely authentic no frills clean fresh we had the fried rice we had several different dumplings and darn chili dumplings are so good... Wonton soup was OK. The dumplings are fantastic, but the broth did not seem to be homemade so glad that this place is in our community and I hope to go there often.

Broth and wonton

This local dim sum is amazing. I try something different every time I go and it never disappoints. They are friendly and speed of service is great. The wontons are so good and you can get a broth for $2 (if you are a broth lover like me). Usually I don't enjoy lo mein from places due to lack of flavor but yet again, this place delivers in all aspects. Also, there were so many shrimps in it! Great deal for the price. Check this place out and support local business!

House Lo Mein and Chili Oil Beef Wontons

Got it for take out based on the good prior reviews, was really tasty and friendly staff! Restaurant looked quite cozy on the inside as well.

What a cute restaurant - buzzing with excitement, while keeping a quaint and cozy atmosphere. As…read moresoon as my niece and I got a hold of the list of items we could order, we couldn't stop checking off one delicious-looking dish after another! While we ended up ordering more than we could possibly fit in our stomachs, we were okay with that, because we could continue enjoying the food at home. Once we put in our order, dish after dish kept on coming out, filling our table and dazzling our eyes and noses. The highlights of the evening were the pork and chive dumplings, whose filling was plentiful, savory and was perfectly blanketed by a chewy silky wrapper perfectly pan fried, but not oily. The other amazing dish we both gobbled up without delay was the fried rice, that was seasoned to perfection and had big chunks of pork throughout. Fried rice like this can be so simple and yet so delicious - highlighting each of the ingredients individually and how they work together in harmony. Overall, the experience at Lucky Cat was exemplary, and I can't wait to return!

We had a 10 minute wait as the restaurant was busy with patrons. The menu was extensive and the food came out, hot and tasty within minutes. They had all the standard Dim Sum fare. We tried one of the shrimp noodle dishes and the noodles were light and airy on the tongue. Their sweet tea/ lemonade drinks were a refreshing non alcoholic treat. The restaurant was basically themed and noise was not overwhelming. It's a nice spot for a casual dinner or a date.

Tried YH Dim Sum and it totally hit the spot!…read more Everything we ordered was on point the shrimp rice rolls, sesame chicken, and BBQ pork were all so good. Flavor, texture, portion... no notes. The lychee martinis were a highlight (especially since they were doing BOGO ), and the staff made the whole experience even better super fun and great energy. If you're craving dim sum and a good time, this place is definitely worth the stop.

I love visiting Saint Augustine so I was so excited when I found this dim sum restaurant!…read more Unfortunately I was very disappointed. I was dining by myself. I always order a lot of dishes because I like what I like and I also know I'll have leftovers. I sent back the pan fried taro pudding because it was so bland and it didn't have many of the main ingredients in it. If it were there, it was so skimpy I didn't find any. (The Chinese sausage and dried shrimp) The pain fries soy sauce noodles were overcooked. It's suppose to be pan fried and it was not. Also very skimpy on the black mushrooms. Not very flavorful. The Steamed shrimp dumplings were mediocre. The skin was gummy and fell apart. The shrimp filling wasn't too bad. The shrimp with rice pasta was probably the best dish there. But it was still lacking in flavor. The steamed ribs with black bean sauce was very bland. The ribs were tough and tasteless. The braised chicken feet were over cooked. The texture was horrible like eating mush. The flavors were also off. The egg tarts looked good but the flavors again were off. Borderline going bad. It had that slight aftertaste of sourness. The shell was also flavorless. The BBQ pork buns were also disappointing. The ratio of bread to filling was off. Very small amount. But I was a little happy this happened because the filling didn't taste good at all. The hot tea was also disappointing. I always order jasmine tea when having dim sum. They used a low quality tea bag instead of real loose jasmine tea leaves which also includes the flowers. No fragrance at all of Jasmine tea. Needless to say, I will not be going back on my next visit. It was very expensive for what they give you. Especially since the food was so bad. I gave it two stars because the service was very good and the view was decent. I am Chinese... born in Hong Kong. So I know what dim sum should taste like. I wish I had seen the review that had a photo of the salt and pepper shrimp before I went because I would not have gone. Their salt and pepper shrimp is not authentic and I would have not gone and saved myself $80 for my lunch.

Our favorites were the roast bbq pork buns (baked char siu bao), lotus leaf wrapped rice (lo mai gai), and the chewy fried dimsum (ham sui gok). And the radish cake with XO sauce! Good spice level. Service is friendly and prompt. The tasteful interior is nicely lit, not too bright. There is bar seating but most sit in one of the many booths, and there are bigger tables for large groups. I almost can't believe dimsum this tasty exists in Port Orange. We're excited to go back and try the roast duck!

We ordered a variety of our…read morefavorites such as steamed eggplant stuffed with shrimp, rib tips in black bean sauce, soup dumplings, seafood dumplings, siu mai, baked pork buns, and sesame balls. I got the beef brisket noodle soup and my father got the braised pork belly and taro. Stand out favorites were the baked pork buns and sesame balls, both perfectly cooked and filled. The siu mai were available as shrimp, pork, or beef - we got shrimp and yes it was nice shrimp but I prefer the shrimp/pork mixture. Seafood dumplings were good as was the eggplant. The black bean pork rib tips were a bit underseasoned and the soup dumplings had only a few drops of soup and too thick skins BUT if you just think of them as ginger pork dumplings they're great. Brisket noodles soup was good but nothing outstanding. The pork belly was thick cut and perfectly cooked tender and fatty and while we assumed it would be chunks of taro it turned out to be minced into the sauce. Mostly sweet without much other nuance but adding a bit of the chili paste we asked for made it better. Only complaint is that after our final dish came out we never saw our waiter again. A younger waiter started working the floor which only had 3 other tables occupied. We had to flag him down for take out boxes and the check after sitting there for 10 minutes despite him having visited once to refill water when we were already done. If I'm craving dim sum and had to be in the area I'd go again but I'll still be going to Orlando to really scratch that dim sum itch.

This is a take out review:…read more The food came hot and delicious. Since this is a takeout review, I don't have any comments on service or ambience. I'm gonna start with the hot and sour soup, which was delicious. I was craving this, but I don't normally get it with seafood tried it in in the future. Probably wouldn't get the seafood but would definitely get the soup again. The salt and pepper tofu was the sleeper hit! This was really delicious. There was a generous amount of toppings, jalapeños, green, onions, and chilies. Definitely recommend this when you're looking at appetizers. The bowl of rice was interesting. I didn't feel like one would be enough and at $1.30 it was a decent deal so we got four and that was more than enough for all the food we had. The barbecue bao steamed buns or for my son and he really enjoyed them, I tried one and they were good. Mongolian beef was delicious, I thought it would be spicier. The heat level wasn't very high that you can always add extra chili crisp Pan fried dumplings can't go wrong with that super good. Charcoal egg yolk bao buns were not bad but I've had better. I would try this again live at the restaurant, because normally these buns are really good, but you wanna eat them hot and fresh getting them to go and then eating them at the end of the meal probably didn't do them justice. Overall, this was really solid and I would be willing to go in and sit down for a meal and see how things were in person.
