Well, the good things are that the food was tasty and the portions were good sized. The bad things were as follows. My husband asked for chow mein because he is a huge fan of crunchy noodles. When he did, the cashier said "you want vegetables or soft noodles? " we were both confused by this because the menu said white rice with fried noodles which was what he wanted. But, not wanting anything other than the regular vegetables that come with chow mein, which he had said more than once, he said soft noodles. Then when it came he said, is this the chow mein and she aggressively said that it was soft noodles you wanted. I pointed to the menu where we had pointed previously while ordering and she said, "no chow mein is vegetables or soft noodles." I am going to give her the benefit of the doubt and say she probably doesn't read English. A couple of other things, my Happy Family which is supposed to have lobster only had fake crab legs and there were only 2 shrimp. It was tasty, but not what we expected. Also, when we told her we wanted ice and water in a cup, she gave us bottles and then when we said something, she pretended not to hear us. Went to pick up our order today. It was ok. The fried rice had just a couple pieces of onion in it and the rice was gummy.

Service was excellent and they were very friendly. Food, absolutely terrible. We ordered wontons, rubbery consistency. General Chicken, great flavor! But, it was mostly breading. I was trying to give my cat some chicken , but literally couldn't due to the minimal amount of chicken inside of the breading. I e never seen so little chicken in a nugget in my life. McDonald's has more chicken in their nuggets. Extremely disappointed. Even the plain fried rice was mush. Will never go back. read more

Ok, so we moved to the area about a year ago and are still in search of our go to place for Chinese take out. While this is better than another restaurant closer to us, it was not remarkable. I was pleased with the egg roll, but the red sweet and sour sauce was extremely runny like it had been watered down. The flavor was ok, but the consistency ruined it for me. My boyfriend really liked the crab rangoon, but I felt like they were again, too fluid, too creamy. However, they weren't overly greasy and the flavor was decent, so overall, the appetizers were ok. I ordered special combination plate #25, Chicken w/Orange Peel with white rice. The chicken was good, but nothing special, standard fare. The sauce was surprisingly too thick and saccharinely sweet. Nothing disgusting, but nothing delicious. The rice was probably the best part, fluffy but still sticky, held sauce well, but tasted great on it's own. My boyfriend ordered the chef's specialty Five Stars (a typo on the to go menu lists it as Five Stras) which came with white rice, but also ordered some Pork Fried Rice. While he thought the beef, pork, and broccoli were good, and while nothing tasted bad, he was not fond of the mixture of the other flavors. He also said the fried rice was good, but not great. However, he was impressed that he got almost 4 cups of rice in his box. His biggest complaint is that we were not given or offered soy sauce, so he was stuck with the low sodium version I keep in the house, which he wasn't fond of either. When picking up the food, my boyfriend was impressed on how clean the restaurant was, and that it didn't smell like cleaner. Overall, I was less impressed with the food than he was and will probably still try to find another, better, option, but all in all, it's not bad, but I'd suggest sticking to basics and expecting it to taste like any other strip mall buffet. read more

Stopped here for lunch before leaving town after our six flags trip. Staff was very friendly and took order and said she would bring it to our table. We had a group of 9 but service was quick we all had our food fast. It was all hot and fresh very good quality. Wife and I had sweet and sour chicken with fried rice both were excellent and crab rangoons were possibly best I have had at a restaurant and all food was priced well. Appetizer entree and drinks for 9 for less than $80 I thought was very affordable would eat here again. read more

We have eaten here several times over the last few years. We always love the lunch specials and get Mongolian Beef, Beef with Broccoli or Beef Lo Mein. The crab rangoon are good too. Portions are a good size and quality of good food is consistent. Even with a lunch special we can get two meals out of the portions. Staff is friendly and accommodating. read more
