One thing to note is that they do have hibachi entrees, but this isn't a place that does the "shows" and cooks at your table. Service was great. We were greeted and sat quickly, questions were answered and our server was attentive and friendly. They have a pretty standard Japanese/sushi menu. But they also have lunch specials and some special rolls and entrees. They even have some thai entrees which was a bit surprising. We tried several rolls and appetizers. The presentation was great and the rolls had a lot of flavor. Quality was fresh. My son had the hibachi chicken and loved it. Portion size was also great. Overall, a nice place for a Japanese meal, especially if you want to enjoy the cuisine without the whole production of a show.

China Garden is always our favorite! The new location is wonderful and has more modern decor than the previous location, and the staff is always very attentive. I've gotten sushi here, and while they don't have an extensive variety like some places closer to the city do, I know everything is always fresh and made to order. We often order chicken dishes, and feel that they use a very good quality of meat. That's not always true with other establishments, so we feel like we are always getting a great value. My favorite dish is the Walnut Shrimp--please never cut this from the menu! The portions are very generous and it's a great atmosphere. Stop and try it if you haven't already! read more

Their website has little to no actual pictures of what their food actually looks like instead using stock photos you can find online which is very misleading about the quality and quantity of food you will actually receive. If you plan on ordering food here your best option is to only get the buffet as their menu portions aren't that great for the price on top of the quality of the food you will receive such as being overly salty on multiple dishes and bland, and they also charge you extra for refills without telling you including for the buffet. Stay away from ordering takeout as the takeout portions appear to be smaller than what you'll get eating inside. 1 of the staff has been rather rude from multiple accounts, such as believing you'll take off without paying when walking up to the register to tap your Card or Phone for payment despite (customer) asking if that option is available and (customer) stating that's how they plan to pay after receiving confirmation that option is available, same staff member also ignored a complaint for illegal business practices in the end just smiling. They will add a service charge on to your bill for paying with a Debit Card which is an illegal business practice.
