    34. Sweet & Sour Chicken, 54. Vegetable Lo Mein
    Jessica C.

Typical fast Chinese food restaurant. Service was good. They were quick and efficient with getting orders out! The chicken for the sweet-and-sour chicken have too much breading. The sauce was pretty good, thicker than I've had. Egg rolls were very good! The filling had a nice flavor. Chicken wings are tiny, but was fresh and crispy. Vegetable lo mein wasn't very impressive, yet still tasty. I wish there was more of a variety of vegetables as I've had at other places.

Had a quick lunch at China Fun today in West Ashley. Had a bowel of egg drop soup. The soup was fresh, hot and satisfying. The service was friendly and fast. I would recommend China Fun and suggest that you give it a try.

Crab rangoon and General Tsos Chicken Combination Plate
    Seyla T.

Got a small pickup order of General Tso's Chicken combo plate and crab rangoon. The chicken was decent but pretty sweet - exactly what you'd expect from a Chinese takeout place but it lacked any spice. The fried rice I did not love, not sure if it was from the pork or something else but I did not enjoy the flavor. Egg roll was standard as well. The crab rangoon was good and still crispy for dinner! It's very hard to mess up crab rangoon so it is always a safe choice. Overall would order here again if I get in the mood for Chinese takeout.

Yum! Lots of food for great prices. Hit or miss on the consistency of the food if you order the same thing on multiple occasions, however, 9 times out of 10 it's good! Service is quick - food is ready very quickly. Small storefront - employees don't pay too much attention to you when you go to pick up food. Would say it's pretty typical Chinese takeout atmosphere.

Same business listed twice. Tonight was a nightmare for my first time. Forgot food items on delivery. Do not go!

Old Li's is an outstanding authentic Asian restaurant. I loved it. No reservations required and plenty of tables. It's a very clean well ordered establishment. Also plenty of free parking right outside. The staff could not have been any better, prompt, attentive & very knowledgeable about the menu. The round table we sat had had a "lazy Susan" to facilitate the sharing of dishes. We ordered based on recommendations, personal taste & heat levels. The dishes were absolutely delicious. So good. I think the Peking Duck was the star of the show. If you are seeking Asian authenticity & phenomenal family service.. Old Li's in N. Charleston near Tanger outlet is your place to go. Of note the prices cannot be beat. A really nice change!!

Service was prompt and friendly. Ordered the stir fried beef and green pepper lunch, includes a soft drink. Food arrived quickly and had good flavor but lacking something to put it in the great cateogry. Love the boiled egg that was included. Overall a good visit, I'll return to check out something else on the menu.

The ambiance is very charming, making it a great spot for a casual yet elevated dinner. The Drink: We tried the traditional infused Baijiu for the first time. It's a concentrated liquor that packs a serious punch! It's served in a vessel smaller than a shot glass and meant to be sipped. One of the staff members shared the history and craft behind it, which made the experience feel like a genuine cultural exchange The Food: The Hot and Sour Mushrooms are the unsung heroes of the menu. They were earthy, tangy, and the perfect palate cleanser between bites of the fiery Cumin Lamb Noodles. Can't wait to go back and try other menu items!

It's not huge inside so if you're sold on dinner here, get a reservation! The staff is excellent about explaining the menu and identifying choices that can dial up or down the spice. We ordered a variety of plates including the marinated cucumbers, lamb dumplings, crispy potatoes, green beans, and Dan Dan noodles. Everything was absolutely fantastic, but the lamb dumplings and noodles knocked it out of the park. Everything but the green beans had some level of spice, but nothing intolerable. The food comes out family style and many of the plates are on the smaller side so it's made for sharing. You can't go wrong with anything here, just prepare to drink lots of water while enjoying the amazing food!!
