Chicken is very mushy and gross. Noodles are hard and flavorless. Ghetto area and low end Chinese food go together I guess.

The guy was so friendly and funny of a person food was good I really enjoyed the bbq pork place was clean and ambience had a jazzy feel with the music that was playing so over all good experience

For starters, I was a little skeptical walking in when I noticed that half the food was missing at the time. After asking the employee if they could make anything else/more, he had no issues making whatever I wanted fresh. So that saved face for the spot for me, when my initial instinct was to find another Chinese spot. I had no issues with the service, the price was fairly cheap, my cravings were satisfied. I'd recommend if you're in the area and want a quick plate.

Jalapeño chicken- yummy!

One of the best fast food Chinese I have had. Luckily when I arrived they were out of my two favorite items- orange chicken and jalapeño chicken, so I was able to wait a few minutes to have freshly cooked chicken for both of my entrees. The chow mein, fried rice, egg rolls are average, just as good as any other fast food place. The reason to eat here is definitely because the entrees are tasty and crispy. This is my second time eating here and I would recommend it.

1st time here, service was good. The food, delicious thank you, will be coming again

Delicious food. I absolutely LOVED the jalapeño chicken. Super nice man! Also very cheap! Definitely going to start coming more often!!

First time trying this place. Came here for a quick Saturday lunch with my girlfriend and it wasn't packed at all, and the place was tidy and clean. We were greeted and offered a sample as soon as we walked in! The person serving was very attentive and when we ordered he PACKED THE BOX. I mean the portions were huge! We ordered 3 spring rolls on the side and ate there and he even offered us an extra plate since he saw we were splitting the combo box. Customer Service was Great! Now let's get to the food, the Spring Rolls were PERFECTION, so crisp and flavorful. The orange chicken and the kung po were my favorite. All I could do was nod and smile as I ate because the food was GREAT. My girlfriend and I were both extremely pleased with the amount of food, the quality of the food, and the price of the food. It satisfied our craving for Chinese Food and we will definitely be coming here again.

Coming from church as El Nino rains start we took a trip to Downey Landing off Lakewood blvd…read more We were going to go Hawaiian but this place caught my eye. Looks in the window a tipical Chinese lil buffet like P Ex. Butvery wrong. The food looks fresh and great as you walk up. And counter staff truly friendly and prompt. Food selections are somewhat typical except instead of chow main and rice they also have a vegetable base as well. Prices are standard you have the one two or three combo also have shrimp special combo 3 flavor noodle soup shrimp with lobster sauce and have family feast and prices are nice. They do catering as well. My wife got mushrooms chicken and orange chicken with chow main. Orange chicken is very good Mushrooms chicken is bomb I got pineapple chicken teriyaki chicken and BBQ pork. Love this teriyaki chicken is bomb love how it's grilled and then mixed with a teriyaki sauce with a ting of sweetness. Pineapple chicken is fresh with a sauce that give you thank mmm I want more. The bbq chicken is great with good flavor not over bearing like some. I like the options of a vegetable base is really good Customer service is on the ball. And this place is busy seating is good can be 2 to 4 or even 10 if you put the tables together. Can soda or fountain drinks and they sell a chili sauce hmm. I met that had been at this establishment for many years so this place good vibes Atmosphere is conversation among each other they have 1 TV with a show streaming. I also noticed they have a bowl option you will see on the above counter when ordering Customer service = 9 Food = 8 Cleanliness = 8 Food freshness = 8 Price to product = 8 I will return definitely

Kaowok - Downey, CA…read more I ordered the 2-item combo with steamed rice and chow mein, choosing orange chicken and BBQ pork as my main dishes. The portions were generous and packed with meat, which was definitely a plus. Unfortunately, the flavor was just average for me. I'd rather have a smaller portion with really great flavor than a large quantity that doesn't stand out. Overall, I wasn't impressed enough to come back. The food wasn't bad, but it just wasn't that great. I'd choose another spot next time.

George doesn't want to go out these days. He says "Oh to be eighty again."…read moreHe wanted Chinese food so I yelped it (using a noun as a verb like the kids do) an spied a 4.5-star place in Norwalk. I said "Ho Ho" trying to sound like Santa Clause, and my wife replied "That's where Tracy and I used to go," ignoring my brilliant entendre. I drove there and ordered what I was told to order. The lady running the counter was fast and efficient, juggling several walk-in customers as well as those who were seated with speed and aplomb. Not Disney-nice, but Asian-efficient. As I waited the ten minutes or so she'd told me it would take, I spied the cans of soft drinks in the cooler and stood up to grab some cash from my wallet. Before I could, the lady brought me a can of Mountain Dew, badged "American Dee" for our country's recent big birthday, and gave it to me *gratis*. That was really nice of her. The portions were more than enough with two main items and pork fried rice, family style. There was plenty of rice left over for George and I had the rest of the Kung Pau beef a few days later. Oh, it listed as being spicy but it really wasn't since I picked past the red peppers. I think it was the Kung Pau. It was good both times.

We sat right away, Thank God! The restaurant is not big but decent, homey vibes, casual, and clean. We odered 1 dumsum, 3 entrée, veggie fried rice, seafood chow mein, and our fave, sweet n sour shrimps. They served us complementary hot jasmin tea and roasted peanuts. So tasty... Jasmin tea made me relaxed. My wife liked the roasted peanuts. Then all the foods were served so quickly. The service was great, attentive, friendly, just perfect. Sweet n sour shrimp was great, perfect balance, fried rice was so flavorful w lots of eggs, seafood chow mein was not bad. I wish they add some more bean sprouts.... Last one was dimsum we ordered. They said it took 30 mins in the beginning. Seemed like they made and steamed dim sum fresh. First, soooo juicy, lovely presentation of each mini foil cup, cute dimsum. Tasty... so juicy! One of our fave parts was Jasmin tea. So relaxing, made us to digest easily the deep fried cuisines. Overall we had such great experience during our 1st visit. Parking is easy, plenty of parking spots in the big strip mall. Everything was great today. They have lunch special and chef special, including catering service. I can't wait to taste some more seafood cuisines. This place is now one of our fave places.
