Let me tell you, the guy who recommended the Sesame Chicken was spot on. It was delicious! Unfortunately, there were quite a few shortcomings as far as the rest of the food went...one of them being with the "American Food". It was pretty awful, really. Particularly the Buffalo Wings. Oh, and the ranch they give you with it is just plain disgusting. Its safe to say that if you stick to the traditional stuff, you'll be OK. Their Orange Chicken was really lacking, too. I'll also mention that the prices are pretty high, although they make it fresh, it hardly seems worth it. Nice for a quick bite if you're staying in the area, otherwise, there are better eats elsewhere.

Looked good, nice flavor... all breading. Epic fail

For a couple of months my friend, who is of Turkish heritage and lives out in Germantown, wanted to meet me closer to my home to go to Cazbar. We went on Saturday, 9/6/25 for lunch (lunch prices are better as why I shot for lunch time). We walked in, and it was fancy Middle Eastern decor. Server was nice & efficient answering questions. I got their take on flatbread pizza called Lamb Pide. Wow, the lamb and pizza as a whole was amazing. My friend got some more expensive platter, which looked good. If I came back, I'd maybe get something like what he got. My friend (& me to a lesser extent) were cogitating on getting a dessert. I think me saying we ate a lot, it's extra calories, & prices are pretty high for dessert, ended up swaying him not to get dessert. Plus, there was a Greek festival and might get a baklava or other dessert there, which I did. Overall, my impression was wow, this place is impression, and I want to go with my girlfriend one of these days, maybe on a weekend before a movie at AMC Columbia or something.

It included a variety of mezze, followed by an entree featuring two types of chicken, two types of beef, shrimp, and salmon, and concluded with Baklava for dessert. The food was well-seasoned with generous portions. Additionally, the alcoholic beverages were fresh, creative, and strong, with a wide variety of options available. The only thing is that it was super loud and the belly dancing lasted approx 30 mins so if you make a resy during the allotted time you can easily miss it like we did. I would definitely give it another shot, arriving on time!

The scallion pancakes were really crispy and flaky. The beef and the sauce inside added a nice bit of sweet and savory flavor to it. The crab meat and pork dumplings were really good and I think they were my favorite. The rainbow dumplings were really good and I think I was most intrigued by the red one, which I think is their spicy dumpling. It wasn't super spicy, but it had a nice little kick at the end.

The prices in other areas like Flushing, NY are a bit better, but i felt like I found a solid spot. The texture of the dumplings were moist & the dumpling sauce was very good with the ginger. I came a couple of weeks ago confident I was going to get the same taste, but the flavors aren't always consistent as well as the dumpling itself. They were smaller in size & tougher to bite into. I usually am at a comfortable "full" feeling after one order, but by the time I was finished with one order I felt hungrier.. lol I literally went to go eat EXPEDITIOUSLY after. This spot is located inside of Kung Fu Tea, which makes it feel more like a quick stop than a sit-down place. I believe they have a standalone location elsewhere and honestly, a bit more ambiance would help. The Columbia location, for example, feels much cozier. I'd love to see more consistency in the dumplings themselves. The Mala dumplings can be really good one day and not as great the next. Still, I think they're worth trying if you're nearby and craving something quick! 10/10 experience overall when they're fresh and hot. Here's the order of perfection: 1 (Red) Mala Chicken - 20/10 perfection. 2 (White) Pork - another 20/10, absolutely solid. 3 (Black) Truffle & Pork - 15/10, rich and earthy. 4 (Green) Shrimp - 8/10, still enjoyable but lighter. 5 (Yellow) Chicken - 6/10 (it kinda tasted like the smell of tap water at first ).

Mala soup dumplings. At least 3 were broken. Soup was lukewarm and too sweet. Maybe the slightest mala flavor. Disappointing.

The parking lot is small, and there's no sauce stand--which is probably my only downside. Taqueria Los Primos has always been my go-to spot and, up until now, the best tacos I've had in Maryland--but Los Perez takes the top spot for me. I was a little thrown off seeing the hot sauce come in a plastic packet, but it was actually super fire. I'd come back here all the time. It wasn't crowded at dinner, even with lots of stores and a casino nearby. Our server was excellent. She was locked onto our needs and engaging.
