Although the side dishes were tasty, I would never return to this restaurant. I ordered the satay. Although it looked like satay, satay would include a peanut sauce. They offered me only sweet and sour sauce or teriyaki sauce and admitted to having no peanut sauce. Furthermore, the chicken was tough and dry; it was probably a roaster. The main reason I am writing this negative review, however, is that once I reached the window after placing my drive-thru order, the employee said that it would be a few minutes. I thought that this was not to be taken literally. However, it took ten minutes to receive my meal. I was not asked to pull to the side to wait so that the cars going through the drive-they behind me might obtain their meals in the meantime. I have never seen such an absurd way to handle drive-through ordering. read more

I've wanted this place to be good for so long, I've given it so many chances thinking it's just a bad day, but every time they remind me why i should just drive down to the mall of Orange and get the Panda Express. The veggies always look old, the chicken tastes weird, the rice is hardly fried rice. The noodles taste like metal/plastic taste. It's just weird and i always kick myself after i buy it and throw it all away. When was egg flower soup supposed to be red/orange? The kids won't even eat it and i always end up throwing it away . Chinese Fast Food and a Drive Thru! Similar food to the Chin's down the street and maybe the same owner, but this one has a drive thru! This is the same place where Taco Company used to be. I am sad to say that it was not much better. The items here were pretty expensive, in my opinion, for what you get. I much rather get something similar and healthier from Fuji Grill or Flame Broiler, both of which are up the street. They do have chow mein. Two star food for me, expensive, but they do have a drive thru. An extra star for the drive thru. Beef Bowl $6.00 3 item combo $7.50 Family Packs for about $25 They also sell fruit drinks. This is not really Chinese food but "Chinese" fast food... perhaps just fast food. Service is friendly and nice but the customers are rude. Make sure you use the drive thru. read more

Went to this place for the first time yesterday....food looked OK so we were willing to try it. Ordered the steamed whole shrimp, chicken curry, green beans and hot and sour soup. We got home and noticed ALL the food was super bland ....needed salt (usually Chinese food is salty to begin with) and ALL THE SHRIMP WERE DIRTY....it all had the black line in them (which is Feces...folks!!). I tried to clean the shrimp the best I could and ate my meal. Well this morning I woke up with a swollen lip and jaw......it had to have been the shrimp I ate yesterday. Needless to say....you get what you pay for....terrible food....they need to look into their "food preparation " to avoid bacteria ridden shrimp ........eat here at your OWN RISK PEOPLE!!! read more

Been here a couple times now and feel like I can make a good assessment. They have all the standard items that you'll find at other Chinese take-out places, just better tasting in my opinion. Atmosphere: The servers ar nice and very approachable, there are two tv's in the rear of the restaurant but as stated below... you can never hear them. The restaurant itself has always been pretty clean when I have gone in which makes it a good place to go to. Food/Drink: The serving sizes are awesome, that is... if you can eat like me. They sure don't skimp out like most take out places, including panda express. I have tried many of the available items but my personal recommendations would be the BBQ Pork and Chicken & Green Beans which have great flavor and have been my favorites since I first tried Chins. They also have chicken fried rice and chow mein which are both decently good. What sets this restaurant apart is that they do Mongolian BBQ and serve Boba apart from the Chinese food. Price: $8ish for a 3 item combo is not bad, considering how much food is served. Also if you show your Orange Public Library card they give you a discount. Worth a try next time you want some take out. If you're in a hurry they have a drive-thru! read more

Horrible, horrible service! My other half and i wanted chinese food after a day in the hospital. We walked in since there was a deal for 11.99 (ending at 3pm) i told the lady i wanted the special (the one posted outside) she said "we can't honor that, it is past 3pm." I pulled out my phone and showed her it was NOT 3pm yet." She then said let me ask my manager. She asked her in spanish and both came back. The "manager" said they can not honor it. I said "it isnt even 3 o'clock." Her response was " well if we honor it, we have to give it to everyone else." Mind you, there was no one else in the establishment (I wonder why). Needless to say we walked out and here we are with this review. I hope the owner/GM/ or real manager sees this review and takes appropriate measures to train their employees with customer service. A ok place for really cheap Chinese Food. I came here on 11/15/16 for lunch and I ordered the 2 item combo with fried rice and noodles. For my 2 items I got Orange Chicken and Beef with Broccoli. The Beef with Broccoli was very soggy and salty. The Orange Chicken was decent but really didn't have that good flavor I like in that dish. The rice and noodles was ok too. Also all orders come with choice of egg roll or soup. A plate can be shared by two but if your hungry or eat big portions that's perfect!! They have a drive thru and large seating area inside with flat screens on the walls. They have chinese food and Mongolian BBQ. They also have milk teas, smoothies and boba!! The Mongolian is flavored good after all the juices are added. Their is a good selection of veggies and beef, chicken and pork for meats. The chow mein is my favorite!! I love the texture so soft and tasty. The BBQ pork is not fatty which is awesome because that's hard to find, non fatty pork. This is my go to chinese food place! Well...I only go here when I have a coupon for buy one combo and 2 drinks and get a combo free...But anyways! The place is much bigger now compared to it's old location. They have mongolian bbq as well, but I've never had the chance to try it yet. What I get: Chow Mein: don't forget the sweet and sour sauce! I usually just pour the sauce on my chow mein. I like my chow mein with thick yellow noodle not like the skinny ones like Panda Express. They give you a lot of it too! I can't even finish half of my chow mein before I just pack it up. Orange Chicken: it has it's on and off days. I can't help myself but get it every time I come here. It's not as saucy as I've had it at other places and it has more of a crunch. So if you don't like orange chicken then avoid it! Broccoli Beef: yum! Broccoli is soft and beef is almost like melt in your mouth kind of beef. I've had broccoli at other places where it's hard and I just end up throwing it away, but this place...I eat all of it and don't even want to share! The beef comes out very saucy and soft so it's not super chewy either. Hot & Sour Soup: it also has its on and off days. Some days it's super salty which I don't mind as much because I do like my salty foods. It comes with mushroom, tofu, green onions, and bamboo shoots? very thinly sliced. My son and daughter love the chow mein and rice. My wife loves the teriyaki. Overall, food is great and pretty good service from the ladies that work there all the times we've gone. I was a little hesitant to stop by because I didn't see many people in the restaurant or parking lot. I decided to order at the drive-thru as this was the reason why I stopped here instead of driving to the nearest Panda Express. I ordered the chicken string beans and shrimp with mushrooms (spicy with various vegetables). I really can't complain on the entrees. They had good flavor and the portions were generous. The fried rice wasn't very exciting, but it did have chunks of chicken which I liked. If I ever visit again, I will probably order the same thing. I don't want to be dissapointed . read more

Have to add my two-cents here in favor of these guys. Let's start with the obvious. It's a Chinese steam table restaurant. It is not some gourmet lobster palace. That said, I find the food consistently good and hot. The new location is spacious and nice. It solved the number one problem with the old location which was it was very cramp. It is very much in the Panda Express model but I think you get more protein in your selections here and it is usually fresher. The new place has the addition of Mongolian BBQ but I haven't had a chance to try that yet. read more

Every time my husband and I pass this restaurant it always has a long line. Mind it is a small place. Nonetheless, we decided to go there yesterday. I really liked it. It's good, cheap, and they serve huge portions. Every combo comes with fried rice and chow mein, plus 1,2 or 3 items (depends on what you want) and a free eggroll. WOW, that's a lot of food for $4-7 (depending on the combo). The only complaint I have, and it's a complaint I usually have with these chinese restaurants it's that when you order shrimp, little shrimp is given to you. You usually get lots of vegetables and sauce, but few shrimps. As for the chicken, pork, and beef, they always give you plenty....egrolls were also good. read more
