This place has a lot of positives. The place is gorgeous, beautifully decorated, and the wine room looks incredible. It's is so clean and chique. The servers who deliver the food were so friendly, and they learn what your likes and dislikes are. They talk to each other so you get great service. The food was out of this world good. Everything was incredibly delicious. I ordered an old fashioned and it was one of the best ones I've ever had. I really enjoyed this restaraunt. Why the three stars you may be asking. We'll this brings me to the waiter. I want to be clear, there are servers who come by with the food they were excellent. The waiter however is responsible for our drinks, and just general needs. He was awful! And this is putting it mildly. We explained we were there to celebrate 2 birthdays. No recognition or acknowledgement the entire night. He introduced himself and didn't explain anything fully, just stood next to us with an iPad. We ordered our drinks. Took forever to get them, except i didn't get my soda till the dessert course, after I had to make a complaint. I requested the drinks several times through the dinner. The ladies were asked if they wanted refills, but didn't get them to they asked multiple times. I got my old fashioned almost 25 mins after ordering it. I got my first soda at dessert. I ordered both as we sat down to the table. During the night, the food portion of our meal had come to a conclusion and we were ready for our dessert. This is where the waiter failed even more. He let us sit for almost 30 minutes with dirty plates in front of us. Both managers stood next to our table and neither acknowledged us either. We watched other waiters attend their table, but not ours. We waived him down several times to no avail. Finally, he happened to bump into me and I spoke up. I said, " not for nothing but we would like our drinks please, for the fifth time I am asking." His response... "ok, do you want me to bring it now?" No, im asking for the fifth time so you can not get it for me again (obvious sarcasm). He finally clears our table and takes our dessert order. Once again he says nothing about the options just stands there with the iPad. I ordered a creme brulee, as it is my favorite dessert. I see it's made with a passionfruit caramel. Amazing sounds great. I get mine, dissapointed is an understatement. It was not cooked. The sugar was still granulated and there was just passionfruit juice on top and the entire dish was liquid. I pointed this out to the waiter and he switched my dessert to the lava cake which was incredible. Honestly, it was my birthday night out with my wife and my cousins, whose birthday it was as well. This place was amazing and although the waiter was HORRIBLE! I would come back again because maybe he just had an off night. Or maybe there was a language barrier. I would just be asking for a different waiter. And if the managers do read this post, I would advise you to speak to your staff about attention to their tables and seeing what is happening with their patrons. As I said, both managers stood next to our table all night and looked past us the entire time. Not 1 time did a manager come by or even ask how things are going, even as they watched me get upset with the waiter over his lack of service. To add to this, as is said earlier, I had the old fashioned....I got 1. Not by choice. The waiter never returned, to ask me or my cousin if we wanted another drink. It was my birthday dinner, so yes I wanted and was ready to drink....too bad the waiter did not care about it. I probably would have had quite a few more. read more

This has been on my list for a while and finally found time to go check out the Happy Hour, the food was great and the HH deals were just as good! Met a bartender Caitlyn who's gonna be fave of mine, she was super friendly and her service and interaction was on point! Didn't sit in the main dining area but the bar was a really vibe; bright open and more than enough seating! Definitely need to go back to dine in for the main course dinners! read more

Was there on 4/1 and this is not an April Fools joke. Food- disgusting. Every piece of meat had a funky taste as though it was expired. All the steak, sausage, and salad bar buffet were funky tasting, especially the meat. Service- fair Ambiance- dark setting but nice. Not a single person from the party of 6 finished their plate. We kept trying different items, but nothing tasted right. We were all surprised that no one got food poisoning, that's how bad the food was. I will never return to this place or recommend. We should've brought it up to the manager, but it was late, and we wanted to get back to our place. Not sure how this place even gets one star it was that bad. read more

The young lady who sat us was awesome. You have to go to this restaurant with a hearty appetite! For someone like me it was a total waste! A very expensive salad bar and a few slices of meat. Now we did go on the Magical Dining but honestly it was only $5 cheaper than full menu. Two of the folks I was with got the salad and salmon opt. Took forever to get their food. It was ridiculous. It has a more modern take on the decor of traditional Brazilian rodizio style (all you care to eat) restaurants. The price per person is $65 (as compared to Texas de Brazil at $50), but the quality of all the different cuts of meat and the service is actually superior. Watched this place being built for the past few months and we live really close by so was excited to finally try this Brazilian Steakhouse out. Very easy to make a reservation via OpenTable and had covered valet parking which was a plus! Hostess greeted us with a big smile and we were immediately sat down. Our server (Constance) came over to us quickly and explained the restaurant and the way things worked (we listened even though we already knew the drill...)! We went up to the salad bar and it was the most pristine salad bar area we have ever seen in our lives, we are big time foodies and we dine at numerous upscale restaurants and my wife and i were both VERY impressed! The "meats" and fruits and cheeses started coming out and everything just tasted amazing! My kids and I frequent Texas de Brazil and Fogo de Chão on a regular basis so we are used to how most Brazilian steakhouses food tastes. The food at Chima just tasted so fresh and very unique! The warm pineapple they brought out with cinnamon on it was to die for, the beef ribs meat you could honestly cut with a fork it was so soft. We also got a bottle of our favorite wine and we were pleasantly surprised to see the pricing was quite a bit lower than other restaurants close by! The desert selection was amazing, try the Apple Strudel with cinnamon ice cream, WOW, just WOW! We had such a nice dinner, so happy this place was on par with all the other 5 star reviews we saw before we tried it out! We will absolutely come again, also the managers came by to check on us and even gave us a quick tour of their gorgeous wine area before we left. 5 star reviews are not easily earned by myself and my wife but this place deserves 6! Heads up they have a dress code that is enforced, so dress nice! This does not seem to be a very "touristy" spot as its off the beaten path a bit which makes it even better for locals! Lot of potential as you can likely see from all the paid and fake reviews of people going to this place but as a local the service has been terrible both times I went. The first time I sat at the bar and tried to just get drinks and food at the 10 person bar that was empty and it took 45 minutes. After surprisingly giving it a second chance, this place continues to lack in service and make up for it through its incredible high price. Went to check out happy hour with friends, it was very disappointing. Only one, not so friendly bartender to service entire bar area. The HH menu was minimal compared to advertised - only one white & one red wine offered along with a few cocktail options. Only three food menu options as well. After waiting quite a long time to be acknowledged (never did) we left and will probably not go back. Unfortunate since the interior decor was very nice but with no service, not worth the wait. read more

This is my second time patronizing this location. First time was 4 star. Today not so much. Beautiful restaurant. Wait staff was polite. My dining partner had small issue with her entree. After discussing with nice waiter, we told the waiter that we were not asking for replacement or even a discount just wanted the staff to know that it could be better. Waiter apologized and thanked us for coming in. Then Manager dropped by our table to inquire about our issue. We told him. Instead of thanking us for our input, he became rude and stated our entrees were perfectly prepared. I disagreed and he shook his head then walked away. Our waiter apologized and said he was the new manager and was having a bad day. It is not our fault he was having a bad day. And is our decision to not return to this restaurant because there are too many options for Dr Phillips dining to be treated so disrespectfully. read more

They are engaging, entertaining and truly at your service. Al, the General Manager is sure to stop by the table and what a charming man! I was truly impressed overall and cannot wait to come back.
