Since we went to FOGO DE CHÃO last year, we decided to try an another Brazilian Steakhouse this year. We search on Yelp for some popular Brazilian steakhouses and TEXAS DE BRAZIL showed up... All-you-can-eat-meats & salad bar: $63.99 per person. They really feed you to the max and rest assure that you will leave here feeling very full with a happy belly and satisfied... FOOD: The Star of the show was the BACON WRAPPED FILET MIGNON. Followed by the tri-tips and garlic sirloin. I love how they asked how do you like your steak? Before actually cutting it then, they will cut that part of off the meat for you... LOBSTER BISQUE: 8/10 It had a nice flavor but, the texture of the broth was watered down. Wish it was thicker... PRO-TIP: Try eating the meats with the thinly sliced and glazed pineapple then dip it with the chimichurri sauce... SERVICE: A++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ To our waitress who actually looks like a celebrity, "Sandra Bullock" and to our hardworking guys who walked around cutting delicious meats for us. C+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ To the hostess. She didn't seem sincere about welcoming us in. Looked slightly miserable and didn't acknowledge us on the way out... Our total was$180 for 2 people plus tips: not a cheap meal so food and service needs to be TOP NOTCH... AMBIANCE: You will see a lot of tourists & overall a nice cultural diversity here with lots of children. I believe we were the only ones from LA that day during a weekend lunch. There wasn't much of a crowd around 12pm... I recommend giving TEXAS DE BRAZIL a try! It's a great contender to FOGO DE CHAO!!!

What an incredibly special experience and the most precious waitress. She made our entire outing so much fun, so warm, and greatly attentive. If I think of her name or find our receipt I'll come back for the shoutout. I hope she has the happiest 21st birthday. All aside- we got a few options from the salad bar, highly impressed with our meat offerings, one of the lamb opts was great but the beef was where it's at. They also had chicken options for my mother who doesn't eat red meat but we dragged her along with us because we really wanted to eat here. The place was bustling, busy, a fun energy, clean, well-lit but still a mood. We had lovely desserts and a latte. The staff at this location has a fantastic way of making you feel special. It was a great experience. I'd highly recommend going here for any special event or no reason at all!!

Well-seasoned pieces of steak, a veritable cornucopia of options at the "salad" bar, and very good service, all worked together to provide a wonderful dining experience for our party of seven. Unsure about adding the meat option to the salad bar, I decided to fill a plate with some of the delectables around the salad bar. The sautéed mushrooms and the lobster bisque stood out for me. Rounding out my plate were grilled asparagus, smoked salmon, shrimp salad, tabouleh, and marinated cucumbers and artichoke hearts. While I enjoyed the salad, I watched others in my party receiving slices and chunks of seasoned meats, and decided my stomach would make enough room for me to enjoy the carnivore options. Because I had enjoyed a few meals here over the years, I chose my meats strategically. Only the filets and sirloins landed on my plate. I kept the circular disk green side up for a lengthy time, and our server, Lucas, made sure to send the "gauchos" with their skewers and mean-looking knives our way. They seemed to be glad to provide a slice or a section onto my plate. Eventually, I needed to turn the disk over to the red side. The dining room is spacious with dark wood finishes and split into sections. The space by the salad bar is wide open. Wow, the flower arrangement on top of the salad bar was spectacular. Last note: "Heroes" - Military, EMS and teachers - receive a 10% discount!

Food galore! I enjoyed this outing with my partner... service was quick for the different meats they bring around, and there were plenty of sides (although I wasn't a fan of most of the sides). It's truly a buffet with an enhanced focus on freshly grilled meats. The meats were hit or miss and tasted different each time; I enjoyed the lamb the most. My partner loved all of it, but I'd prefer a more simple and flavor-focused dining experience. However, it seems like a great date night spot and I'd advise to try it at least once.

Made a reservation, arrived 15m early. We were greeted and seated promptly. Our server was at our table within a minute. He explained the concept of TDB as I had never been. The food was delicious, not a single solitary complaint. The salad bar, oh my good heavens was excellent. Lettuce was crispy. And fresh. Lobster bisque omg, delicious. Rice and beans, no complaints. The atmosphere was calm, cool. No-one was stressing. Wasn't chaotic. We are even switching our daughter's birthday to here. Definitely worth every bit of $63.99.

I ate here last night and it was absolutely phenomenal. The meat never stopped coming to the table. A lot of restaurants with this style struggle to consistently have the meat coming, so I really appreciated their consistency. I do wish that they had more options but overall, it wasn't bad. The salad buffet is good, but nothing to call home about. I'm not a huge fan of the location in the parking wasn't great, but I don't think that that's something that can be helped. When we arrive to the restaurant we were seated almost immediately, which was great even without a reservation. The service was great and it wasn't too crowded. I didn't feel like the tables were too close together. I definitely would come here again.

That pineapple is from the salad bar some very rare steak and also bacon wrapped chicken and Parmesan chicken

Listen the food here is absolutely outstanding whatever you like whatever cooking level you like whether you like it medium rare running blood or you like it well done you can get whatever you want here basically however you want it cooked and talk about the meat moist and very tender. And the salad bar is probably the best salad bar I've ever been to in my entire life and I just turned 60 I was there for a birthday dinner. And the service was also very outstanding the place is beautiful inside we had so many people offering us so many different things it's hard to say no. Of course we were not wasteful either it is a bit on the expensive side so make sure that you only do it as a treat. But it's well worth it for a treat.

This is the bathroom of a "fine dining" establishment.

Went here for my birthday and I was let down. I'm a huge of the Texas de Brazil chain and try to visit whenever I can. This location was close by my hotel and holy guacamole it was a mistake to visit. 1) my table smelled like sweat like profusely, 2) took a while to get a seat for one, 3) the service was sporadic at best. The meat was under seasoned at first with the pichanas and the lamb chops. Like how? After waiting a while for the waiter I asked for more seasoning and then it was full of salt . I could feel my blood pressure rising or maybe it was the 50 plus dollars I'm about to donate to their place. The only thing worth getting was the short rib which I had to ask for since they wouldn't bring it out, but still didn't save the experience. The side bar was full of rice that was clumped up, the potatoes were cold, and even the Brazilian bread was cold. This is unacceptable. I have never experienced such a mess at any Texas de Brazil locations around the country. What a way to ruin my birthday... do better please.

Food was outstanding Every cut of beef was made to perfection. Service was great, luxurious agree service. Cannot complain The display of food was outstanding. Everything looked so appetizingly. It makes me wish. I would have been able to have 2 stomachs. Ambiance was not bad, it's relaxed. i can't just recommend one dish.

What a phenomenal evening at Texas De Brazil celebrating my partners and I anniversary. I did put into our OpenTable reservations that I have for anaphylactic food allergies and a manager came over to our table his name was Max; he walked through with me the salad bar on things that I could eat and things that I could not eat as well as the certain types of meat that I could eat and I could not eat. Which was greatly appreciated. So if you haven't been to Texas de Brazil before it is around $60 for their dinner service I'll cocktails are around $14-$16. They also have a salad bar there salad bar has anything you could want from pickles two tomatoes to your normal veggies two cheeses a fresh mozzarella etc. now the cuts of meat come to your table with a I'm gonna cut like a meat gentleman; he has all of the cuts on a like a pit steak and then they shave them off for you on what you would like to eat. I ate the sausage, the bacon wrapped sausage, the lamb lollipops, the flank steak, the flat mignon the sirloin and the garlic steak. Every single cut of meat I had was grilled or made it to perfection and so juicy and so filling. I didn't get a drink this evening I got their house sangria for $11 and it was marvelous. It had the taste of a sangria however it wasn't too overly sweet and it was very light and refreshing. If you haven't been here I definitely recommend it it is on the little bit more expensive side however my bill was around $60. The ambience of Texas De Brazil reminded me of a post modern industrial list kind of edge to a restaurant. They have a lot of exposed metal like in the ceilings and in the chandelier and for their bar backdrop. They also have painted the walls a reddish tone however it's a very nice restaurant. My partner and I will definitely be coming back I'm giving this restaurant 100 out of 100.

Rainier was amaaaaaaazinggggg! Super professional, attentive and knowledgeable! Loved the food, the options, and caipirinhas were on point. Chimichurri gave a special touch! Fraldinha ( flank) was fenomenal! Better than the picanha! It was just upsetting how they americanized the desserts: orange on the crème brûlée, carrot cake does not have chocolate on top :/ and nothing with brigadeiros ! Howwww nothing with brigadeirossss??? Besides the air conditioning being super cold, we had an amazing experience! Rainier deserves a raise! He went above and beyond!

Visited Texas de Brazil to celebrate my husband and I's anniversary. When we got married we had our wedding meal at Texas! So it was very nostalgic and did not disappoint. Food was great and flavorful. Ambiance is nice too with a well equipped salad bar. The only reason I rated a 4 instead of a 5 is that the staff wasn't really friendly (almost offputting) and our waited hardly visited our table because he was too distracted with other patrons.

No, technically nothing besides the typical "top/bottom/shoes" but I would say people tend for the most part to be slightly dressed up.

Hello. What meats are on the lunch menu?

    They have all meats!!

I see in a few photos the Servers and Gauchos are all wearing masks and gloves. How is the spacing between tables and what have they done with the salad bar/soup area? I can't imagine with the pandemic going on it would be self serve.

I am not sure if you've visited the restaurant since this question was posted. The salad bar is exactly the same, they have hand sanitizer near the plates. The table spacing is very little; it's as if there wasn't Covid.

Do you have to have reservations?

We highly recommend making them to minimize waiting time.

Is all of the meat cooked rare or medium rare? Can you have it cooked the way you like?

It may seem like an odd sight in the middle of the park, but in fact it used to exist in a line of historic homes that were taken down for the park expansion. Now it sits alone, right off of the walking path surrounding the Lake. The home is lovely and features a sunroom, living room, parlor, outdoor terrace, upstairs area with a balcony, bridal changing room, and more. Recently I went for a lunch meeting in their upstairs space, the Summerlin Room ($75/hr rental with a 2 hr min). It was a lovely spot and fit our group of fifteen perfectly. I'll admit that I had been to the house once before to help with another event and the room wasn't set to the specifications agreed upon so we had to move and reset the chairs and tables right before the meeting. I remember the event organizer was quite annoyed... Hopefully it was a fluke! Side note- There is no elevator and the stairs are quite narrow. This is worth mentioning in case your event includes someone with mobility issues or who uses a wheelchair. As I was heading out I stopped in a room by the front and appreciated the array of pamphlets set up- ranging from history of the house to an Orlando biking map. There were also tourist pamphlets with the typical attractions (presumably for out of town guests of weddings of meetings). Now, diving in, I've only had food from Red Panda Noodle - which I initially discovered during Tasty Tuesdays in the Milk District. My first time having them, I fell immediately in love with their beef noodle option: Beef & Broccoli. It is flavorful and filling! The price points are standard (roughly $17.00 for the Beef & Broccoli). All other dishes are reasonably priced. As for A La Cart City as a place, it's centrally located off Orange Ave. There is PAID parking all around - sadly, unless you use the DTO promo code for a free two hours of parking, you will have to pay to park just about anywhere in Downtown Orlando. Parking is ample, but it can get pricey depending on when / where you park. There is ample seating downstairs and upstairs. It is service animal-friendly. They have a large screen for viewing sports or displaying any video (if you reserve the space for an event). The staff is kind, attentive, and helpful. They have a decent (not super large, but decent nonetheless) beer and wine selection. Price points are comparable to the other A La Cart locations. The overall location is great in the sense that it's a great spot to start a "bar-hop" vibe and make your way down into the thick of DTO. All in all, I am a fan of all three A La Cart lcoations. Also, did I mention, it is a great little spot for events! So, definitely visit them if you have not already.
