I ordered the Manchurian chicken with gravy and steamed rice and an order of the Chicken Pakora. Both were very delicious and flavourful. I wanted a bit more spicy and added a bit of their chili sauce which was perfect! The staff was very friendly and helpful with my choice since it was my first time here and I don't eat enough Hakka food. Overall, it was a great experience and I would definitely return! October 9/2025: Dinner with my Al. Nice Hakka Restaurant. Kinda low end decorations but still nice. In a strip mall, but we had trouble finding it cause it's called CCH on the signage & not the restaurant name. We started with spring rolls ($4.59). They weren't house made & they weren't that great but doable. Mains were the following: Ginger Beef ($17.99). It was the wrong one we ordered & it was only ok, not great. We THOUGHT we were ordering the crispy beef but not. Singapore Noodles ($15.99), this was really good. Good size order with lots of chicken & shrimp. Chilli Mushrooms ($16.99), this was a delicious dish. The best of the bunch. In an amazing gravy to top it off! Lastly, the Chicken w Broccoli (16.99) the was ok but not great. I'll say the portion sizes were pretty good on all dishes as well. Our server was a delightful & polite young Indian lady that was quit effective & did a solid job. Bold statement naming your restaurant this. The GTA is full of amazing Hakka food and are all fighting to claim which restaurant has the best chilli chicken. Out of all the places I've been to, Chilli Chicken House lives up to the name with the best chilli chicken in the GTA. With locations in Mississauga and Brampton, Chilli Chicken House serves Hakka (Chinese & Indian) dishes, along with some Tibetan / Nepalese dishes (momos). We stumbled upon this restaurant in a plaza in Brampton, after discovering that another restaurant that we wanted to go to was closed. And we were glad we found this place! The food was delicious, portions were big (family-sized portions), and service was quick, attentive, friendly, and efficient. The interior was clean, and ambiance was very casual and laid back. I liked that it was fairly quiet in the restaurant. Our server was very knowledgeable and knew the ins and outs of every dish (how each one was cooked) and all the ingredients. Food came out within 5 minutes of ordering. We were warned that we ordered too much for 2 people (given the large portion sizes), but we got to take home the leftovers. Despite its name, Chilli Chicken House has a pretty good selection of vegetarian and pescatarian options. Favourite items that we ordered were the Hakka Noodles with Shrimps & Vegetables (got them to omit the chicken), Steamed Vegetable Momos (had an Indian curry taste inside without it being spicy), and Crab & Corn Soup (one of my favourite soups - warm and comforting, loved the sweet and crunchy bits of corn). The Hakka Noodles came out as stir-fried vermicelli noodles with tons of shrimps, eggs, some onion & carrot strips, and scallion. It reminded me of Singaporean fried vermicelli noodles. You could really taste the 'wok-fried' taste - very delicious! Their Steamed Vegetable Momos had a unique taste that I liked, which was different than all the other Nepalese / Tibetan momos that I had tried. The inside consisted of shredded cabbage, carrot, maybe tofu, and perhaps some other vegetables. It had an Indian curry taste in the filling, which I found to be tasty without it being spicy. The dipping sauce it came with, however, was spicy. I found the Vegetables Delight and Sweet Garlic Shrimps to be way too saucy. Luckily the saucy dishes came with white rice. I wish there were more vegetables on the Vegetables Delight plate, instead of it being 80% thick brown sauce. The Sweet Garlic Shrimps had a nice tomato-y sauce, but unfortunately the shrimps were breaded and deep-fried. Overall, it was great value for money for the taste, quality, and portion that you get. Nice ambiance and 5 out of 5 stars for service too. read more

Took my family of four here for dinner and did not disappoint. The restaurant is spacious and there were a lot of seats available. the servers were extremely friendly and inviting. We ordered three dishes and it came with a big bowl of rice, which we did not finish. Each dish was delicious and the portion size was very big. My favourite was the butter chicken as you can mix the gravy with the rice. The service was excellent as well as the food came very quickly and the servers were very helpful. In the area and saw this place. Didn't realize there is a location in Mississauga as well, which we have picked food once a few years ago. Ordered a Chilli Tofu and Veg Manchurian Balls in gravy with with steamed rice and comes with two (small) spring rolls each and a soup which was not mentioned on the website. The soups, normally at all other Hakka restaurants has eggs but CCH had a Sweet Corn Soup without eggs, which is really appreciated. The Manchurian Balls are tiny but pack a good pinch of flavour. Good balance of seasoning and spice (not too spicy). The balls lacked the crunch, but as this is a takeaway order, we understand it is not the same. The soup a bit high on salt, but if you add the chilli vinegar it balances the taste. The Chilli Tofu has fried tofu pieces with gravy and slit green chilies. The spice again a bit on the lower side and some bites with green chillies were spicy. Would have preferred some finely cut chilies as there would be a consistent taste in every bite. Also next time will request if the tofu can be not fried. The takeaway service was good and packed properly. Warm till I reached home. read more

This is a great place for takeout or if you're having a family dinner. The portion sizes are pretty big compared to other restaurants. I got the manchurian chicken and sweet and sour chicken. Along with beef fried rice and shrimp fried rice. The gravy is very tasty. I prefer the sweet and sour chicken though. The shrimp friend rice is pretty good as well. Its been around 3 years I had eaten from chilli chicken house. While we lived in Mississauga it was our staple but once we moved we hardly went there and covid hit. This is the first time trying their branch in Brampton. But, oh man ! They never changed and the satisfaction rate is over 100 ! I love it how they maintain their authentic Hakka taste and quantity. "Often imitated, but never duplicated..." Wait, actually it seems as though Chilli Chicken House did in fact duplicate and did it very well. It's a bit odd that it took me so long to get here as I've been a fan of the original CCH in Mississauga for ages and often went way out of my way to get there. So it really shouldn't have taken me this long to try out this second location they've opened up 10 minutes down the road from me. I ordered takeout last night, and though it was never going to be quite as good as dine-in - which has been my only experience with their Mississauga location, I can say that it still measures up based on the quality. In fact, I'd say the crispy beef I ordered was actually better than I'd had it previously at the other location. Apart from that, the menu and prices seem identical. Most importantly, the quality and recipes seem unchanged. One advantage this location has over the other is that if you're dinning it, it is licensed. We also ordered the Manchurian shrimp and the American chop suey dish. Both were near perfect by takeout standards and I was relieved to see that they still offer massive sized shrimp in the shrimp dishes (baby shrimp used in the chop suey). Safe to say that this will be a go to for a lot of future take out orders and eventually some dine in times. It's a bit surprising that their opening seems to have been quiet and not featured in local blogs as it's an important addition to a fairly small and in-need food scene. I just have to hope enough other people in the area support that place as it is miles above any comparable locally. read more

As a loyal fan of the first CCH location, I was super pleased to hear that another one was opening closer to my home! This location is a similar size to the previous one, with about 15 tables available for dine-in. The decor is simple and quaint, but honestly it's all about the food here, not the atmosphere. The recipes and tastes are duplicate to the first location, with their renowned chilli chicken and other fan favourites like bombay chicken, manchurian fried rice and crispy beef. My only comment would be with the staff, on two of my most recent visits the staff forgot some of our dishes. They are probably new and they corrected the issue with ease once made aware, but besides that this new location is just as good as the original and has a bright future in Brampton! read more

Got me a signature chilli chicken (dry) on upgraded noodles ($2.50) - came with 2 spring rolls and a hot & sour soup -- all for $11.70. Friggin great price, and DELISH!!! We ordered takeout and got a food size portion of food to have more than one meal. The Beef chowmein had somewhat thick noodles but tastes good with tender pieces of beef. The noodles are all soft, not crispy like some chowmein. The Chili chicken dinner with stir fried rice was about 1/3 chicken 2/3 fried rice. If you eat any of those green chili pieces it's very spicy, otherwise it wasn't too bad. The flavour is garlic and slightly bitter and not sweet like other sauces. There were big chunks of breaded chicken in there. Both meals were great leftover too. We also tried some soups. The hot and sour soup was good except for the chicken bits, which was not what we expected in hot and sour soup. The chicken wonton soup was nice with about four big wontons. Food was ready in about 20 minutes for pickup and was piping hot when we got it home. Overall all a decent experience, I think I would try the kung pao, the general tao, sweet and spicy crispy, or sesame next time for chicken. They take only cash or debit. I wouldn't say it's a favourite place and is really just 3.5 stars, but I would get takeout there again. read more
