There are certainly mixed feelings about his spot! FOOD IS 19/10. No questions. Beyond incredible flavours in each dish. Presentation is likewise very swet and gorgeous. I would come here 10927747474&3&% every day if there were a Toronto location. One thing that three us off, was the waitress requesting cash only tip. Unfortunately none of our table of 6 had cash, and there was no atm nearby. Made us feel mighty uncomfortable and disoriented. The servers definitely deserve tips, and cash only is certainly an inconvenience for both the diners and the staff. We feel very sorry for them, and hope the manager addresses it asap, otherwise we will not return, due to ethical concerns... Change your tipping system and you are golden. Keep it same and you will deteriorate! KEEP YOUR STAFF ADEQUATELY COMPENSATED

This place does Indian food in more of a fine dining setting. We got a complementary appetiser - pappad with sweet chutney. It was decent. Coconut and Cardamom Soup was good, with sweetness from the coconut, though my dining companion thought the coconut flavour was too strong. Rampuri Boti was excellent. It was slightly sweet & had a lot of onion even for Indian food. Though an appetiser, it was not priced as one - though it had a lot of meat. There wasn't enough pratha though. Nalli Nihari was ok. While the taste was decent, the meat coming as a lamb shank made it harder to eat and provided less meat than with a more conventional cut. Plain naan was Ok. Achaari Kalonji Roti was roti with fennel & pickle. While there was a strong pickle smell it didn't taste of it and was moist. It was interesting and unusual, but I wouldn't order it again.

Drove down from the East end specifically to dine in here since we were craving Indian food. I decided we give Anokhi a try for 2 reasons: 1) Open late till 11 P'M, 2) HIGHLY recommended by a friend. Called in to confirm when the kitchen closes: 10:20PM and went in at 9PM. Server was super friendly, we were seated almost immediately. The ambiance and aesthetics were nice. We got Bhatti Ka Murgh as the appetizer, and Dhaba Murgh and Subz Biryani as the main. The appetizer was comparably better and more appealing than our mains. We were very disappointed with the mains and ate no more than a few spoons of them. Additionally disappointing is that we were recommended the most popular dishes on the menu YET, they were very disappointing, being nothing special, in fact, less than average. However, besides the bar and the party area which seemed neat, there's nothing special here, overpriced for less than average quality food, and unreasonable wait times. Overall, very disappointing due to the large expectations of this place. Its possible we may like something else on the menu, however given the wait time, we WILL NOT be returning or recommending it.

I always love ordering my Indian food with the highest level of spiciness. I think I am curry-ageous. * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * ** * * * * * * * * I always love to try a variety of cuisines from all around the world. There is an endless possibility of cuisines in Canada because of the vast diversity here. I keep trying various flavours and tastes, but what brings me back to my roots has always been the Indian cuisine. Anokhi has given me a go-to place to satisfy all my cravings for a proper Indian meal. From fine-dining experience to hospitality to decor, I loved every bit of it. I must say the hours spent at Anokhi with authentic lip-smacking food, traditional Indian music and cozy decor were one to cherish for a lifetime. Fun facts about Anokhi: They were the diners' choice in 2019 They have been recommended by Restaurant Guru in 2019 They were the recipient of the Top Choice Award for the best in quality Indian food and fine-dining experience The four-course meal that I devoured:- Soups: - Tomato Dhaniya Ka Shorva - Coconut and Cardamom Soup Highly Recommended Appz: - Bhatti Ka Murgh - Tandoori Lamb Chop - Dahi Kebab - Tiranga Paneer Tikka - Soulful Main Course: - Dhaba Murgh - Kadhai Jheenga (Shrimps) - Mausam Ki Sabziyan (Mix Veg) Indian Breads: - Til Mirchi Paratha - Achaari Kalonji Roti Showstopper Desserts: - Gulabjamun On Fire - Tart & Icecream Drinks: - Whiskey Island - Mango Mule I'll highly recommend this place if you're in GTA and, looking for some delicious Indian food with a twist. You have to visit @anokhibrampton to believe it. Have you ever tried any of the dishes before? Follow me @iambibzz to see more hidden gems.

What a gem! This is the best Indian food I have ever had. My daughter and I stumbled across it when we were in Brampton picking up something I bought on Facebook marketplace. I have only been here a few times since then. Each time is better than the last. Yesterday I took two friends there for lunch. They were equally impressed. The dishes are unique and flavourful. The space is clean and bright. The staff are always willing to help you order. It is not cheap. You get what you pay for.

The food, service and decor were all amazing! It's the perfect spot for upscale Indian food! The portions are a great size and they come in beautiful bowls! Everything was so delicious and I definitely recommend them to everyone.

The chilli paneer was more on the desi masala side than Hakka Chinese, but packed with flavour and totally worth it Momos were juicy, chole bhature was proper comfort food, and the roll made for the perfect grab-and-go bite. Loved the self-service kiosk (not so quick) and the ambience + music just makes the whole place feel fun and chill. Definitely a spot I'd come back to when those Indo-Chinese + street food cravings hit

Once the order number appeared on the screen, we went up to the counter to receive our orders. Luckily, someone in my group had told me about this procedure however, if they hadn't, I wouldn't have known what to do. It would be a good idea to have some instructions, as it would make it easier for those that aren't sure on how to order. The restaurant itself was very nice, with many plants, along with artwork. The tables were large and spacious, and the lighting was bright. I had settled on the non-vegetarian thali, which included butter chicken, curried chickpeas, rice, yogurt, and naan. However, when I had ordered the thali, I wasn't given the option to choose which vegetarian and non-vegetarian item that I had wanted. I wasn't too pleased with that, as there were certain items that I had wanted instead. Regardless, the meal was very delicious, and it was filling, as I was able to eat this meal for both lunch and dinner. All of the items were well-prepared, and tasted fresh. The price was a bit high however, considering all that we had received, it was well-worth it. Will definitely be coming back to this restaurant again, and would highly recommend it to those looking for authentic food. However, be sure to do some research, and know how to order before arriving.

This place opens at 5 pm so no lunch .... open for late night dinner till 2 am. Went in , restaurant had an overwhelming bouquet of Indian food , after few minutes felt like their exhaust was not working and all kitchen smoke was flowing in . Not good for dine in but we resisted n ordered chicken tikka masala n dal makhani with garlic butter naan .First the servers are not dine in friendly as we ordered the server said " u will have to wait for 50 min as we are too busy with take out orders " , though the restaurant was almost empty with 2 tables occupied . We were patient n waited . To our good luck food arrived in 38 minutes . Vooooooo yeah ! Food looked appetizing , tried the crispy butter garlic naan with dal makhni n chicken tikka masala . To my surprise the food was tasty . Though it lacked authenticity but it was a great creation by the chefs toward the success of the gourmet ! Most irritating n uncalled in the whole experience was the lack of oxygen in the restaurant to breathe with all the smoke around . Though the food experience was good but I may not visit again due to unhealthy ambience . 3 stars for the food !!!!

I…read morefound Streetbitez on Yelp, but there wasn't much information so I wen to their website and found this location. The restaurant itself is in a strip mall and on the side at that, it could easily be missed. Let me say, I'm a fan of fusion foods. I love mixing the best things from unique cuisines to make something unique. I ordered the PaneerTikka Poutine, this is something right up my alley. My sister ordered the Paneer Butter Poutine. We were told it would be about 15 minutes until our order was ready so we ventured out to get my son something more simple for dinner. We came back, there was a little confusion about payment, the lady who took our order forgot we'd already paid. It was cleared up and we were handed our food. We got back to our hotel and at first, it was really hard to tell which item was which. The lady did say that the Tikka was a little darker so I took the darker colored curry item. I have to say, this was unlike anything I've ever had before. I loved all of the sauces and the curry. The paneer was a little dry and crumbly which was disappointing and the fries were average. The sauces and the curry really made it this dish and I would eat it again.

I went with the butter paneer poutine and samosa pav. My sister went with the Tikka Paneer Poutine. I love poutine and was excited to try this version. The sauces were very good! The fries were good. The paneer was a little dry for me, I think it had been fried a little too long but it was good. The samosa pan was honestly not like anything I have had. Super good with crunches and lots of flavor. The location is a little unassuming and they have a very versatile menu with something for everyone. The lady at the counter was very nice. She helped choose based on the spice level I wanted. We ordered and she said it would be about 15 minutes so we went to run an errand and came back. When we got back she had forgotten what we ordered and that we had paid but once I told her, all was good.
