I came here on a Thursday at around 12:45 pm for lunch. I didn't realize from looking at the outside that this restaurant was so big! Upon walking inside, I was surprised to see that it was divided into a few different rooms, and very spacious. This place could definitely host an elegant event, the decor spoke for itself. Upon arriving, I was greeted by the server, whom told me to scan the QR code in order to access the menu. I settled on the Butter Chicken with Plain Naan, which came quite quickly. The Butter Chicken was TO DIE FOR! It was creamy, fresh, and a huge portion, very delicious and appetizing. It also stayed hot (temperature-wise) the entire time I was eating it, which was a bonus. The service was top-notch as well, with my server coming by to check on me, along with providing me with the necessary items to have a wonderful meal. Overall. Although on the outside this is in a very ghetto place, the inside will shock you with a marvellous ambiance with live shows in the middle of the room. We were showered in love by the staff during our experience. Also the food was amazing! My favourite was the savoury Nali Nihari which had a very tender lamb shank that fell off the bone! This place does Indian food in more of a fine dining setting. We got a complementary appetiser - pappad with sweet chutney. It was decent. Coconut and Cardamom Soup was good, with sweetness from the coconut, though my dining companion thought the coconut flavour was too strong. Rampuri Boti was excellent. It was slightly sweet & had a lot of onion even for Indian food. Though an appetiser, it was not priced as one - though it had a lot of meat. There wasn't enough pratha though. Nalli Nihari was ok. While the taste was decent, the meat coming as a lamb shank made it harder to eat and provided less meat than with a more conventional cut. Plain naan was Ok. Achaari Kalonji Roti was roti with fennel & pickle. While there was a strong pickle smell it didn't taste of it and was moist. Drove down from the East end specifically to dine in here since we were craving Indian food. I decided we give Anokhi a try for 2 reasons: 1) Open late till 11 P'M, 2) HIGHLY recommended by a friend. Called in to confirm when the kitchen closes: 10:20PM and went in at 9PM. Server was super friendly, we were seated almost immediately. The ambiance and aesthetics were nice. We got Bhatti Ka Murgh as the appetizer, and Dhaba Murgh and Subz Biryani as the main. The appetizer was comparably better and more appealing than our mains. We were very disappointed with the mains and ate no more than a few spoons of them. Additionally disappointing is that we were recommended the most popular dishes on the menu YET, they were very disappointing, being nothing special, in fact, less than average. However, besides the bar and the party area which seemed neat, there's nothing special here, overpriced for less than average quality food, and unreasonable wait times. Overall, very disappointing due to the large expectations of this place. Its possible we may like something else on the menu, however given the wait time, we WILL NOT be returning or recommending it. read more

What a gem! This is the best Indian food I have ever had. My daughter and I stumbled across it when we were in Brampton picking up something I bought on Facebook marketplace. I have only been here a few times since then. Each time is better than the last. Yesterday I took two friends there for lunch. They were equally impressed. The dishes are unique and flavourful. The aesthetic of the restaurant and food are superb, however the quality of both the food and staff need major improvement. I visited 2 years ago and the food was amazing and lived up to the reputation, however that is no longer the case. There are 3 main problems, as listed below. 1. Severe miscommunication between the servers and host, as well as to the customer: - When we were seated the table was dirty so we asked the server if we can move to the booth. We shifted our belongings to the booth, only for another server to come and tell us the table was reserved and we must show our vaccination status (which we had already done so upon entering). Then we were told we could sit, but 10 seconds later were asked to move back to our original table. 2. Mediocre food taste: - We ordered the dahi kebabs and tiranga paneer for apps, all of which lacked flavour. Kebabs were too doughy tasting, and paneer marination was lacking flavour and spice. - Mains consisted of Khubani koftas which had a good gravy, but koftas were lacking in the dry fruits. Chole was decent, heavy on the oil. - Ordered a Mexican Lagoon cocktail which was 90% sprite, lacked any alcohol, and was missing key ingredients. 3. Slow service: - When asked the server for the bill, he took over 10 mins to bring (which is very long considering the restaurant was only at 50% capacity and not full) - drinks came after the first app, not all apps arrived at the same time either. Will not be going here again, either the chef or the management seems to have changed because it is not what it once used to be. read more

Otherwise, tFish Tikkahe food was extremely bland and didn't taste fresh at all. Two of us came into this elegant hideout, not entirely well hilited from the street but a great surprise inside. Great food, great service, very polite and professional staff, especially Deepanshi, who explained various dishes and choices, listened attentively to our questions and made good suggestions; and Aman, who was very courteous and friendly as our seating host. We had a mostly fish dinner with garlic naan and carrot halwa for dessert. The spice level of the fish curry was pretty intense but the fish pakoras were excellent and we ordered the yogurt raita to calm our pallettes. We came with a small group and enjoyed a nice selection of veg and non-veg food. Early evening is quiet with plenty of seats but by 9 pm it can get quite full. There is an outside patio area too. All portions we ordered were plentiful and good for sharing, we enjoyed each dish and barely finished half of each. We asked that spicy dishes be kept medium and not too hot. Appetisers came on long plates to share: Tandoori Saloni Tikka (salmon) was like a meal with many moist well cooked pieces that were slightly charred on the outside, very nice. This is not spicy. Tiranga Paneer Tikka is also a large portion with many large pieces of cottage cheese cubes in different marinations cooked to be firm and light tasting, this came with some sauces to accompany. A very good variety option that is not spicy. Mains came in hot serving bowls. For mains we tried Dhaba Murgh which was tender chicken in a thick light brown creamy gravy that was mildly spicy and flavourful. Amritsari Cholle (chickpea vegetarian chilli) was in thick dark brown gravy that was more medium spicy. Punjabi Bangan Bhartha (eggplant) is a blended to a smooth texture and nice roasted eggplant flavour, this was the most spicy on the high end of medium and very tasty. Garlic naan was great with all the options. We also has some potato naan that was crispy naan with a nice thin layer of mashed up lightly spiced potato inside. We were able to take leftover home in containers they provide to pack ourselves. The nice light crispiness of some appetisers and naan don't hold up as leftovers compared to fresh, but the mains are just as good the next day. read more

Upon inquiring, server said that since I ordered on the phone, they charge premium prices. I have to order in person to get prices stated on the menu. This was a really amazing restaurant, I came with my family and it was an unforgettable experience! The atmosphere is extremely vivid and cultured. It is reminiscent of ancient India but with a uniquely modern twist. The food is a different story though! The presentation of each dish was spectacular and the taste was exquisite. Came here to celebrate my mom's birthday. It's a beautiful restaurant with a very nice ambiance and decor. We started off with Anokhi Paneer Tikka and Murg Malai Kebab. The paneer was exceptionally good. The three chutneys that accompanied the appetizers a were also very nice. For the main course we ordered the Dum Murg and Dal Anokhi. The Dal was really very nice.
