Came in for chole bature and got absolutely delicious ones!!! The space here is incredible, with all sorts of food being prepared with fast service! We had come here on a Tuesday afternoon at around 1:00 pm for lunch. The restaurant wasn't too busy at the time therefore, we placed our orders on the kiosk on the restaurant floor, and waited until we saw our order number appear on the screen. Once the order number appeared on the screen, we went up to the counter to receive our orders. Luckily, someone in my group had told me about this procedure however, if they hadn't, I wouldn't have known what to do. It would be a good idea to have some instructions, as it would make it easier for those that aren't sure on how to order. The restaurant itself was very nice, with many plants, along with artwork. The tables were large and spacious, and the lighting was bright. I had settled on the non-vegetarian thali, which included butter chicken, curried chickpeas, rice, yogurt, and naan. However, when I had ordered the thali, I wasn't given the option to choose which vegetarian and non-vegetarian item that I had wanted. I wasn't too pleased with that, as there were certain items that I had wanted instead. Regardless, the meal was very delicious, and it was filling, as I was able to eat this meal for both lunch and dinner. All of the items were well-prepared, and tasted fresh. The price was a bit high however, considering all that we had received, it was well-worth it. This restaurant has a huge variety of Indian food from street food, North Indian, South Indian, Hakka, Momos, burgers, Indian wraps and pizzas, and mots of dessert options. You come in, find a table and use the touch screen kiosks to order and pay. After paying, don't just take the purchase receipt, after the main receipt is printed, there slips printed for each food station where you need to go to pick up your food. There are screens around the restaurant which tell you when your order numbers are ready. We tried a variety of food. The highlights were the the Happy di Basket chaat, chana bhatura, mysore masala dosa, layered Amritsari kulcha, chili garlic veg momos and a veg thali. Chana tasted just like I had in Amritsar late last year and the kulcha was super crispy and tasty. The only negative was the masala omelette pao. It tasted bland. It had a generous amount of egg which tasted good on its own but the pao seemed to hide all the spices. It could have used a bit more seasoning. Overall a good place with a huge variety of well made Indian food in a nice looking restaurant. read more

Great ambiance with good music. It is a self order place hence no front desk service to guide you how to place the order. 4 machine by the entrance to take order like at McDonald. They have a screen to check when the order is ready and self pick up when food is ready. Lots of seating but many seats are not clean... still have dirty tray and dirty table. I wouldn't recommend if you are in rush... either order ahead or have at wait at least 30mins for my dosa order. It was a good portion for sure. I recently ordered chana bhatura from Happy Singh Street Eats in Brampton. When I got home and opened my order, I was shocked to see not a single whole chana in the dish. I immediately called the restaurant to ask if this was normal. The lady on the phone explained that they mash some of the chana to give the dish a thicker consistency. I told her I understood that--but in my case, there were literally zero whole chana. I have been eating chana bhatura for many years, and this was definitely not it. She asked me to send photos, which I did. Shortly after, she called back and told me that their chana bhatura is made "Dhail style" and that it's supposed to be a mashed paste with no whole chana. Then she added, "Ma'am, you may not understand, but this is how it is made," implying that because I'm not Indian, I wouldn't understand the dish. This felt dismissive and discriminatory, as if my ethnicity meant my complaint was invalid. The manager offered me only a $4 credit towards my next order, even though I had spent $18. Two days later, they called asking me to bring the dish back so they could "show me" this is how it's made. I went in with a friend who is born and raised in India, who also confirmed this was not authentic chana bhatura. Even then, staff insisted we were mistaken, showed no acknowledgment that my order may have been wrong, and made no real attempt to make it right. Final Verdict: The food I received did not match the name of the dish. The service was dismissive, unprofessional, and left me feeling that they discriminate against customers of different ethnicities by implying we "don't understand" their food. Offering a minimal credit for a clearly unsatisfactory order is unacceptable. I would strongly reconsider before dining here. read more
