It's been a while since we have had lunch at Chili's. We should have waited longer. They have a difficult time with gluten free/dairy free food. I ordered the grilled chicken sandwich and the chicken was very moist. That's the only positive thing about the meal. The unsweetened ice tea had a musty smell and flavor. The avocado was limp and black on the edges. The fresh tomato slices limp and mealy looking with no flavor. The bacon was greasy and undercooked. Although they list French fries as gluten free they are fried in the oil the fry everything in. So no they are not gluten free. They were unable to offer any other side. Probably the worst experience me and my family had there. We came in and waited about 25-30 min to be seated which was fine because it's busy and well common sense but after being seated no came to greet us. We waited and after like 10-15 minutes We knew what we wanted to order already and so we were waiting for someone to attend us and nothing. The waiter never came over to us or again greeted us. People who were being seated after us all got attended and even got their food. My dad went to go let the hostess know that we haven't been attended after like another 30 minutes. She said she would let the waiter know and so we waited again about another 20 minutes. Another couple who were seated after us were attended and again us nothing. The waiter would look at us passing by our table like 5 times or so and nothing. Anyways we decided to leave, we were all pretty bummed out especially since it was going to be a family meal. we still can't believe that we weren't attended and don't plan on going back anytime soon. Visited this Chili's in Yuma at lunchtime. Not busy but took forever for our food to arrive. Ordered Spicy Shrimp Tacos and Grilled Chicken Avocado Sandwich. Got halfway through my 2nd taco and pulled a 10" long white/blonde hair out of my mouth. Couple in me next booth saw it with horror in their eyes. They were studying their food then. We called the manager over. He asked if I wanted a replacement meal. I told him No, I lost my appetite. He took my meal off the bill (duh!). While waiting for our bill to arrive, I noticed several of the female servers with long pony tables flitting and swinging them around. This is another business that just needs to close their doors for good, the service is lacking, can never get your order correct ( how hard is it to ask for your fries well done (crispy) and no salt. I order the chicken ranch sandwich with fries well done, I get just barely cooked fries, and sandwich that looks like it was thrown on the plate and a soggy bun, they put so much ranch dressing and hot sauce the sandwich, tHe plate they served the food in was swimming. Upon entering the restaurant today, the hostess said "how many," the she grabbed the menu and escorted us to our table then tossed the menu's on the table and walked away. Talk about rude and unprofessional. First impressions are everything. Our server was polite and food was tasty. That was only reason for the second star rating. Ordered our dinner online with a scheduled pick up time for 720pm. Arrived about 5 minutes early. No one greeted us for about 10 minutes. Waited a total of 35 minutes past our pick up time, and when we got the food it was wrong. The appetisers were stone cold, my salad was missing the avocado you pay a dollar extra for. My man's quesdilla had pico de gallo on it when it wasn't supposed to as he is allergic to one of the ingredients. We ask to speak to the manager and the guy basically blows us off and says "so do you want it remade? No? Oh okay you don't need to pay for it then" doesn't apologise for the inconvenience of wasting almost an hour of our night.. Nothing. Will not be going here again. Went out for a birthday dinner for me and my mom and it was amazing! I had the new Crispy Fiery Pepper Crispers and the new Coconut State Of Mind drink. Be prepared for the hot goodness that will enter your mouth. Just as a warning the heat delivers, but there is a hint of sweet in the sauce. The Coconut State of Mind was also great drink, I went light on the alcohol, so it would probably be better with the normal amount of alcohol. Today was only a quick stop for a drink at the bar but still the food is just "CHILICIOUS"!!! Chili's is probably one of my top favorite places to eat!! The CLASSIC NACHOS are sooooo good and the burgers they make are by far the best ones I had in Yuma. The prices are okay and the staff is typically very friendly, even though they sometimes just stand at the bar texting with their phones!! Not so nice to see as a customer if you're waiting for your drink. The drinks are just awesome and I can't complain about the prices on them!!! Overall - love it!!! It has to be Yuma. Last time on the trip back we did Appleby's ( this was prior to iPhone and yelp so some slack please) and they managed to immolate the ribs. The manager must have canned that cook since he's apparently now working at the Chili's across the road. Appetizers took quite a while to come out at 1400 with hardly anyone in the place but that's ok since it was wrong order. I declined a "do over" since we were traveling and frankly the habanero wings don't go well with main entree if you actually want to taste any of it. They made them and gave them to me , gratis ,anway. Coffee was weaker than either parties economics skills ( seriously ) and no amount of sweeteners could make it fly. It's like they'd taken out all the coffee then paid someone to replace it with grounds that no one wanted yet were lying around. The rest wasn't too bad. Buffalo like fajitas ( I know wrong word but most people understand it ) The bed of peppers it was meant to be on was sparse, the onions were hiding under the peppers.This is the first time I've had more meat than veg with this dish at any chili's. I have been here a few times and always had a good experience. Tonight I was alone after a movie and was pleasantly surprised that the kitchen is open till 11 on Fridays. I decided to sit at the bar and the bartender was cleaning but noticed me right away and greeted me warmly. I ordered the bacon avocado chicken sandwich and substituted a salad (for a small cost) but they no longer have caesar. Instead they offer a house salad but what really excites me is that the offer what the call a fresco salad. It's spring mix with queso fresco and honey lime vinaigrette. It's fresh and full of flavor. You can't go wrong with juicy chicken, cilantro pesto, avocado and bacon on a warm pretzel roll. Better just bring us a pitcher. Had a little problem getting started, but after we did, no more problems. Place was clean. We walking down, the parking can suck. It's busy down in this area. Employees walked by but no one mad it apparent that we were waiting or needed help. The store was very clean and the register girl was the name of Crystal, was very courteous, and assisted us in a professional manner. I came to Chilis after a hard day's work, expecting Danielle, who I have seen before on Thursday nights. She wasn't there and I should have walked out. A young lady who couldn't muster a smile asked me for a drink first and I requested a martini. She made it perfect but alas was at the end of her shift. Enter the stoner... Her replacement was some stoner with the obligatory arm tattoos and a baseball cap. He looked at my martini and admitted he couldn't make one if I wanted another. (strike one!). He took my dinner order and I told him what I wanted but because he had the memory of a gnat, I had to repeat myself which I did all day on my job and don't expect to do it again for a casual dinner.(strike two!). The dinner came and sure enough he got one of the sides wrong (strike three!!! You're out). When he asked if I wanted another martini I was afraid of what I'd get. I spoke to the manager who offered to comp everything and I refused. I am not looking for freebees. I would like to go out after an aggravating day and chill out. Went last night Jan 16th for the second time. Wasn't near as good as the first time, but it was eatable. Ordered the 2 for $25.00 meals, which was 6 oz steak. Husband ordered med well and I med on the streaks. Well both came very bloody rare. Husband sent his back, I eat mine. The first time I had rib lets and he had the streak, it was to die for. Great.
