Came into the Chili's in Vista yesterday. Even though it was so packed (Friday night... what was I expecting lol), the service was outstanding. Our server, Dom, was incredibly kind, attentive, and made sure we were taken care of the entire time without ever making us feel rushed. You could tell he genuinely wanted to make our experience a good one! Huge shoutout to the person who brought us the food, Jordan, who went above and beyond with checking in on us, making sure everything was right, and bringing such a lovely energy to the table. He stood out so much that I actually asked him for his name because I wanted to make sure he got recognized! The food came out pretty fast and was pretty good, and the service honestly made the whole experience even better. It's not often you see that level of teamwork and customer care, especially when a restaurant is slammed! Big thanks to Dom and Jordan for going the extra mile! We will definitely be back! read more

I was at this location for lunch today my server was Rose when I ordered the lunch meal Super QP meal asked for no mustard she did repeat it got my meal and it had mustard on it had her return it and all they did was scrape off the mustard plus the cheese and onions and returned it to me very disappointed would not come back to this location they thought they were slick!!!! read more

The food and service were great as usual, so I'll get right to my warning to all customers regarding an unexpected charge on your bill that will need to be searched for. While waiting for our server to arrive, we tried to initiate a game on the computer pad present on the table. We tried but were unable to do so before our server arrived to take our order. While waiting for our order, we did try again but did not actually play any games. At the end of the meal when paying our check electronically via the same computer pad, I noticed the check total seemed a bit high. Using the "Check details" button, I examined the pricing and noticed a $2.99 "game fee" had been unknowingly added to our tab. When I questioned our server regarding this "game fee", she asked if we played a game. We responded that we did attempt to, but there was a definite lack of any advanced notification regarding any fee. She in turn referenced a memory of some very small print as notification (which could not be located anywhere in the software). She then stated "Well, the old system used to tell you", followed by nervous laughter. To her credit, she did offer to remove the surprise fee which we accepted. An assistant manager also happened to approach our table at which time I discussed the fee (and the lack of notification) with him. His response referenced the "new system" doesn't alert customers to this charge followed by nervous laughter and a noticeably abrupt departure from our table, presumably to evade any further questioning about an uncomfortable topic. I find it very odd this surprise charge is common knowledge to staff, but no notification is offered anywhere to customers that it will happen without the customer's knowledge or consent. Advice to the store: Don't laugh when a customer catches you padding their bill as this will only serve generate negative opinions about the staff and the location's business practices, both of which allow this to go on and does not warn customers. It would be great if you could express to ownership the desire to have customers treated better. Unless something has a visibly published price attached to it, your customers are going to logically assume it to be free. read more

we had THE BEST service today (feb 27, 2026). i wish i could remember the server's name but she had colored blue-green hair and a mask. she took our orders immediately, brought us our drinks less than a minute after we ordered them and kept asking if we needed anything every 5-10 mins. everytime i had 50% of my diet coke left, she would immediately get me a new one and our waters were constantly being refilled. this is the best service i have ever received. ever. i hope she reads this!! thank you for the amazing service! read more

Me and my wife go to Chili's quite a bit. Enough we always get free chips and salsa in the bar. My wife ordered for us while I was a few minutes behind. In stead of our usual she got us the full rack of ribs to share. I have NEVER seen ribs with less meat on them, anytime, anywhere. It was an embarrassment for Chili's. Hopefully what we got was an exception but to even send those out of the kitchen defies logic. On the bright side the white cheddar mac-n-cheese was great! Good service as usual. Had a burger here a while back and enjoyed it. Ordered a meal to go tonight, planned on splitting it with my wife, so I ordered a "Full Rack" of ribs. When I opened it , I was extremely disappointed. The "full rack " was 7 inches in length. Well they never actually say what it came from, maybe a raccoon? Almost $50 delivered, pitiful, won't trust them again for delivery or take out. Just sad. Place is understaffed, we sat for 15 minutes before we got a server. Once a server came and took our drink orders, another server came to take our order. At this point we didn't know who our server was and our beer was still sitting at the bar, came to our table warm. So then we waited for our food which also took forever ( THE RESTAURANT WAS NOT CROWDED OR PACKED) and food comes undone!! Little sliders still red in the middle, wings taste like watery rubber and Texas cheese fries look like they were sitting waiting for the rest of the food so came out cold and gross. Creative menu items that were perfect for this Veterans' Day; however, given the items that were served, including the special Veteran's menu, everything . . . I mean everything, had too much salt. I've been to this Chilis many times now. The in person experience is fine, the food is good, service is good, but every time we've ever ordered to go (either curbside or doordash) something is wrong with our order. This time, I ordered curbside. First of all, there are only 3 curbside spaces and all 3 of them were full of cars that didn't even have people in them. There were no other available spots, so I circled around for about 5 minutes. Finally, a couple pulled out from one of the curbside spots and I was able to park. I waited for almost 10 minutes and no one came out to bring me my order. I finally just decided to go in to pick it up because at this point it was way past the time my order was supposed to be ready. I had to wait another 5 minutes at the pickup counter for my order until someone came to help me. Turns out, my order was sitting right inside the kitchen the whole time. When I got home (I live less than 10 min away) my order was cold and the drink cup I received was a mess with stuff all over it. Very disappointed in this chilis and probably won't be going back because I have had experiences like this one too many times. read more

Chilis is great! The huge variety on the menu always has everyone keep coming back. I've came numerous times for their happy hour recently, and it does not disappoint! Great deals! Well drinks are $3. Margaritas only $5! That also comes with a shaker so you can keep refilling. Our waiter failed to tell us that adding flavor costs extra. Other than that the food is great! The margarita flatbread is a must try, absolutely delicious. The guacamole is fresh and also comes with salsa. Good size portion which is also a bonus. Overall great happy hour deals. Service is average, could be improved. If you come at peak hours be expected to wait quite a while to find a place in the bar. read more

Got a salad and the triple appetizer. (slider, wings, eggroll) Yum- had to ask for the check and when he brought it he did not ask if we wanted a to go box. We only ate the salad and was full. He could see the appetizers had not been touched. We had to ask for the to go box. A waiter should be attentive. We should not have to ASK for everything. His tip reflected the service we received.
