I had a few loved ones host their wedding at other Trademark venues like Green Gable and really loved the vibe. They do self tours in the mornings on the weekend so it was nice to just wander and check out the space. It's so spacious and you can really do a lot with the space. A note is that because it was such a big venue, it can be hard to gather people so definitely plan around that. We really wanted a venue that had a lot of nature in it and Botanica had that! I wanted an outdoor, romantic atmosphere and it was just perfect! It was such a beautiful location and fun canvas to play with. Trademark also has a catalogue with pieces you could choose to use. We liked that there were pieces to choose from that were included in our package. That helped us a lot with decor. There were other pieces at a cost as well. Trademark will also host menu tasting nights to help choose your hor dourves and mains. We were able to meet Eli, our head caterer there, and he was at the wedding day of. The food tasting was a great experience and he was so, so helpful in answering all of our questions as well. Each Trademark venue comes with a wedding coordinator! They will meet you with you a handful to times to make sure the day of goes smoothly. We had Mikaela and she was the absolute BEST wedding coordinator that we could ask for. From the beginning, she gave us great guidance and information. Any question we had, she had answers! The worksheets that Mikaela had given us were also very helpful! Planning out the schedule so that we were all on the same page was super helpful. She is very detail oriented and gave us all advice that we never even knew we needed. Mikaela stands on business! Dress rehearsal was so perfect in getting last details together. On the day of, she made sure that we did all the things we planned for, even with the unforeseen delays. Her behind the scenes work made everything run so smooth! Our family and friends absolutely loved her. Also shout out to Aiat who specifically supported me and the wedding party. We felt so cared for! Thank you for always offering to get us water, checking in if we needed anything, etc. We also got great feedback from our loved ones that they loved the bartenders; they were very friendly and got drinks out in a timely manner. Honestly, such a beautiful venue and the staff was sooooo great. They made our day so special! Everything looked absolutely beautiful. We're sure that there is a lot of behind the scenes work to make it all happen smoothly.

It gave me Hawaii vibes. The ceremony takes place in the front area, cocktail hour/restrooms are in the middle area, and the dinner reception took place in a tent in the back. The service here of everyone I encountered was very good. The dinner was pretty good, and was served family style. One of our dishes was a smoked salmon & shrimp farfalle pasta - but there was only 2 pieces of shrimp in the whole bowl. While the bartenders were very nice, the cocktails were ok. One major thing they need to improve on is their ceremony set up. If this place is catering to weddings, you have to make sure people can actually see the wedding. The wedding party was situated lower down by the water, think of it like the couple having their ceremony in the orchestra pit. Because of this, anyone sitting past the 3rd row wouldn't be able to watch the ceremony. I was in the 7th row and all I could see were the backs of people's heads. I ended up staring up at the trees and listening to the whole ceremony. =( Luckily their mic & speakers were working.

Last call is 30 minutes before closing time. There were some people over at the Brewery. Nobody was at the Winery. I got my glass and have a seat there's tons of comfortable leather couch seating. There are high tops and low top tables and a huge outdoor space. This seems like such an amazing place to hang out with a group of friends This was a quick stop in. Not sure what happened here but I won't be returning any time soon as even at the twilight rate, $90 is not worth putting on this mess. Hope that they can bring the greens back to what they once were but this definitely left a very sour taste in my mouth overall. Only thing that gives them a couple stars is that the service was very kind as always and the rest of their experience (clubhouse, driving range, etc.) is still exceptional.

Initially, we were scheduled to hold her special day at a venue aboard Camp Pendleton, however, with the current state of... everything... we made the decision to start looking elsewhere for a venue out in town. My daughter and I were vendors at an event a couple weeks prior and fell in love with the look and feel of the Vistonian. Once we realized that having the her party on base was no longer an option, the first place we looked was this downtown Vista gem. The location was major. Moving it off base, alleviated the stress of having to worry about guests not being able to attend due to security restrictions, there was ample parking, the venue was partially decorated in the style that we were hoping to capture, we were able to bring in our own catering, vendors were able to access and move about the venue with ease, and working with Shelly Firth made for a stress-free, accommodating, professional experience. The Vistonian Venue offers a rustic, refined, Boho, modern, minimalistic aesthetic that fit perfectly with our rustic tropical Philippines Filipina vision we had for the party. The luscious greens throughout the venue helped to minimize the amount of greenery we had to bring in to curate the vibe. The open, high ceilings with exposed beams and tasteful touches of modern wood elements also added to the ambiance we were hoping to achieve. As our coordinator, Shelly was amazing. She worked with my desired layout so that the day of the event we walked in and start setting up without hang-ups. It made it a lot easier for everyone involved in set-up on our side. During the event, the restrooms stayed clean, the trash levels were maintained, and as the go-to gal, even I was able to relax, visit with guests, and enjoy the special evening. When I share with others about the Vistonian Venue, the first thing I say is that it was truly serendipitous. It played out exactly as it should have. For it to work out the way that it did, made it better than I could have possibly imagined. Reflecting on the night, the first adjective that comes to mind is FUN.
