We came here for Lunch yesterday. Upon entering there was no one at that Hostess Stand to greet us, after a few minutes a Lady shows up and seats us. Our waitress Daphne greeted us and took out drink orders. We ordered Half Rack of Ribs with French Fries and Corn on the Cobb and The three meat Fajitas with Chicken, Shrimp and Steak with Rice and Black Beans which came out piping hot! The Ribs were tender falling off the bone good. The Combo was very tasty, the Steak was a little tuff though. We got the Molten Chocolate Cake for dessert, it was the bomb, so rich and chocolatey! Our waitress Daphne and Server Kristian were both friendly and attentive. They also updated the Restaurant too. read more

Here I am in Timonium. Since it's in the hotel, sorta, I figured on going in to Chili's. I like Chili's anyway. We all know the chain. A few TVs around, not the most exciting bar but it's a restaurant as well. I was seated instantly, got a beer moments later. Grace seems cheerful, and didn't let me run out of beer. I ordered the steak fajitas. The steak was super tender. Not very flavorful, not much more than a scrap of cheese, sour cream, tomatoes. Almost no cilantro, cilantro makes the fajita. read more

The chills currently has 3 for $10 deals which is a good deal but the food doesn't look like a deal at all, it looks like a $10 meal. You can order online and pick the food up in-store. They have a Curbside service which is great. You can text "here" when you arrive and they will bring the food out to the car for you. The main dishes such as the sirloin steak may not be available all the time for this offer. I got the steak on the first order a couple of days ago. The steak was not as expected. It's super dry and not juicy. It's you got what you paid for. The house salad is super small, the corn on the cob was not as good. And again, they put the deals out but the food doesn't look like a deal at all. The second time I got the margarita grilled chicken as the main entry. There were 3 pieces of chicken. The chicken was okay, not as great as expected. You got what you paid for :) and this is literally a $10 worth of food, not a deal As a conclusion, the food was okay not great. The curbside service was a good idea. read more

Server was great so I tipped 25% but the food was a little bland. Egg rolls, mozzarella sticks and something else I can't even remember but it tasted more like food that had been microwaved. Either way I had a nice time out with my daughter for food that tasted okay and a very pleasant server at an affordable price. read more

This is a convenient restaurant connected to a hotel. The food is okay. There is a decent amount of options available, from burgers to ribs. The chicken and prime rib enchiladas came with a good amount of meat and was filling. The sour cream, salsa, pick de gallo, lime, cheese, and guacamole have some life to the meal. The buffalo wings were pretty crispy and tasted pretty good. The celery that came with it looked kind of old. The shrimp tacos were not too good and were kind of plain. The mango chicken plate was okay. The chicken was soft and the mangos gave it a nice tropical punch. The salad is overly drenched in dressing and was not fresh. Customer service really depends on who the waiter is. I find that the male waiters were much better to deal with. I was ignored by the hostess when she accommodated a pair of men that arrived after me. Ordering to go at the bar area during lunch was the worse experience ever. I ended up being ignored by the waitress for over 10 minutes even though she passed by me at least five times. I ended ordering over the phone while sitting in the bar area. read more

Ask for the secret menu item huevos ensalada. Thank me later. This huevos ensalada was the best I've ever had in my entire life. I don't know how they added a perfect hint of carrot to each bite of the huevos. They have purple broccoli on the side that is just amazing. To wash it all down I would recommend a banana margarita- also not on the normal menu but just ask and they'll know what you mean ;) read more

My fiance and I were out running errands one day and realized as we drove by that we have yet to have Chili's. So, we stop for a drink and lunch! The bar staff was very kind, timely, and helpful. We both ordered a beer and some appetizers. We came in with some judgment because we thought that since the restaurant was connected to a hotel we would have crappy and slow service but everything came out quickly and as expected! I ordered the Chipotle Chicken Fresh Mex Bowl and was pleasantly surprised. The only thing about it was it wasn't too aesthetically appealing when it showed up in front of me. It kind of looked like a pile of goop. But, I tried and it and loved it! My fiance had the Queso burger and enjoyed it although he said it did have too much salsa mixed in with the queso. We shared a triple dipper appetizer together and loved it. Just enough for two people as an appetizer. Overall, thank you Chili's for an enjoyable lunch! We just might have to come back again soon. read more

Overdue review! Ok, right before the curfew, we went to Maryland and stayed at the same hotel we stayed before, and adjacent to the hotel is this Chili's. To be honest I didn't know what this is, until Hubby and I decided to get some snacks. We came here and glad to see everything was sanitized. They wore gloves. We sat by the booth and ordered appetizer combine any 3 and a corn on the cob to share. That corn was exquisite! A little butter with a touch of black pepper taste. The appetizer combine includes chicken wings, sliders, and egg rolls. They have different types of sauces, sweet, hot, spicy, you name it, they got it. I couldn't believe this place makes good food, that combines appetizer was not bad at all! I still don't understand why they use the name Chili's but the menu doesn't show chili soup. I like that it has a user-friendly payment. There'a a small tv for entertainment and paying your bill, which we used to pay the bill. I tried copying that corn on the cob recipe and made it at home since everyone has to stay home, I must tell you that I can cook! Yay! I know how to make corn on the cob just like that! That's a start! read more

Ok, so I came to Chili's last night and ordered a steak. I don't really have super high standards for chain restaurant steaks but this steak was perfect! I was very pleasantly surprised. I got the 10oz medium rare and it was cooked perfectly and so tender, not chewy at all. The skillet mashed potatoes were also very good! I will say that service was very slow during my visit last night, that was the only disappointing part. My absolute FAVORITE type of dessert is a warm, gooey cake, cookie, or brownie with ice cream on top. Chili's has so many desserts right up my alley with their molten cakes and skillet cookie-- yum!! read more

Buyer beware! Don't you hate it when restaurants fail to deliver the basics? The Chili's on Deerco Rd in Timonium is such a place. Instead of ordering online, I drove over to their "Order to Go" counter last night. This is my second experience doing so. I give everyone a pass on the first screw-up. I mean, they're in the getting-it-right food business, are they not? Both times it was a matter of paying attention to detail. I ordered wings half plain, half with sweet chili zing sauce, and two blue cheese sides. What I got was a full order of dry, overcooked plain wings, and they forgot the blue cheese too. A similar experience happened the last time (a few months ago) when I ordered a hamburger, no cheese, and what arrived was a greasy, practically raw burger enrobed in a thick, greasy, gooey layer of some kind of white cheese. Of course, when you pay, they default to a 20% suggested gratuity on the screen--and this is carryout, huh? Is this earth shattering? No. But restaurants are in the business of getting your order right! 8 wings, no sides, $17.95 with tip. read more

Went to Chili's tonight with an old friend. Our waiter (I am so sorry I forgot your name) was very attentive and had a great smile. I ordered the unlimited chips with salsa and guacamole. The chips were good and perfectly salted. The salsa was a little too watery for my taste, but had good flavor. I asked my waiter if I could sample the Moscato (it's my favorite wine but different brands taste differently). He brought me over a sample (after checking my ID) and the moscato was good. For my entree I ordered the Caribbean salad with shrimp (dressing on the side). The salad was AWESOME! Great balance of different flavors. The dressing was rich in flavor but light on the salad itself. I only used one soufflé cup worth. The reason for the 4 stars instead of a total 5 would be the following: 1) napkins (I had to ask for napkins because we were only given one each during the chips.) 2) service seemed a little rushed. I understand it was busy and my server had more than just one table, but I felt like it was not memorable. I felt like it was more of a drive through experience rather than a dining one I would be back. Everyone seemed pleasant and polite. Maybe I just went during an unusually busy time. read more

As chains go, I have been a fan of Chili's and went to the Annapolis location quite a number of times, but this Timonium restaurant was a real disappointment. We stood at the reception desk while the staff were sitting together meeting or chatting or whatever...watching us and just keeping us waiting. Not exactly a welcoming environment or the behavior of people we want to do business with. After about 10 minutes, we left...(need I say that we won't be back??) read more

Ribs were really good, onion blossom things were really good, fries were meh. But I had one problem with my food. I ordered my ribeye medium-rare because rare isn't an option (so I should've expected this.) Medium-rare does not mean well done with a bit of pink in the middle, it means medium-rare. It should be illegal to cook steak without knowing this. I am very picky with my steak, so ultimately this was a deal breaker. read more

Chili's - You all need to study hard on this. - American Near Me - Timonium, Maryland

There is something different about this Chili's. It is physically attached to a Holiday Inn. The HI uses it as its lunch/dinner restaurant and bar. That means it can be unusually busy. Other than that a Chili's is a Chili's is a Chili's. Three star food accompanied by three star drinks served by three star and occasionally four star wait staff. I was at the hotel for several days and I used the bar here to keep up with the World Cup. The quality and number of TVs was just fine. It got the job done. read more

I like Chili's, I really do. I can't explain why... But I do. However, this place now has those screens on the table and it seems like once a restaurant gets those, it becomes all about throwing you out the door (see the nearby Applebee's for more on this). When we sat down, we were given out menus and not even a minute later, our server came out and asked us if we were ready to order. She then reappeared two minutes later when not one person in our four person party had closed their menu, and once again asked us if were ready... And then two minutes later... Again! This pushy service has got to stop. read more

I went here after going to the beer bourbon bbq festival at Timonium fair grounds. I was staying at the holiday inn and this chilis is attached. It was a rainy Saturday night and j did not feel like driving so this location was convenient. Was going to sit in but there was at least a 45 min wait for a table on the restaurant side. The bar was jam packed as well so I was forced to the Togo window. My food was prepared in about 20-25 min. Everything tastes like you would expect from chilis. Great prices dinner for two for 20 bucks. Would have been a solid 3 stars but looks like their staff could not keep up with the business volume this place does. read more

Went at after lunchtime around 2 pm. Place only had a couple customers. Ordered the Cajun Pasta with shrimp which I have had at many other Chilis around the country. Service was poor. Meal came and was barely room temperature, not the least bit warm. Neither the pasta nor the shrimp. Waited over 5 minutes for server to come back but never saw her and did not see her. I finally went into the kitchen to ask someone to send her to us. Took it back and nuked it which was OK, but even then , it was barely warm and the shrimp was not warm at all. I ate half of it and left the rest. Server never asked or said anything. There is no excuse especially since the restaurant was virtually empty at the time and they certainly was not busy or overwhelmed. I would never return. read more

Don't eat there much but after tonight my new favorite place to eat and the waitress O'fer hope i spell that right she was great

We visited on a Tuesday night around 6 - 8 pm. Our waiter was attentive and friendly. Our food - steak fajitas, fajita explosion salad, and guacamole was all sub par. The salad had rotted lettuce, cold chicken, and cold cheese fajitas. Guac was ice cold and the beef in the fajitas was cooked so much it was tough. We've never enjoyed a trip to Chili's less. I feel like the economy may be causing them to make poor food prep choices. Quality food & cooking should be top of their list. Right now it is not. read more

Let's start this review off with an understanding that this is a Chili's. With that being said, the restaurant was always way to chili- it honestly felt like they were confused and thought the dining room was the walk in cooler. We were staying at the Holiday Inn for 2 weeks and frequented the location. Our bartenders were on point- Patrick was a blast and honestly made us want to come back all of the time- he is 5 star.Wednesday and Thursday was like the Titanic-it was freezing, and everything started to sink. Cold soup, no chicken on a salad we ordered with chicken, then cold chicken on the same salad. Cucumbers were the size of icebergs and they were so brown I thought it was a meatball. Not to mention there was barely any lettuce. How do you mess up a salad? We watched almost everyone send their food back because it was raw or cold. I'd rather my food take a while than it be cold and served like a lunch lady plopping mush on my plate. read more

I was staying at the Holiday Inn that is connected to this Chili's, so I was able to frequent this establishment often. Every time I arrived, I was always promptly greeted and seated. Everyone was always so friendly and helpful. I got to try a lot of great tasting food that always came out hot or cold, depending on the dish, and the drinks were plentiful. I never had to ask for refills. The place as a whole is clean and neat. Bathrooms don't smell nor were they messy. Yes, I'd come back! After dining at the Chilis in White Marsh about a month ago I honestly did not want to return. I spoke to my amazing parents about the restaurant they mentioned going to the Timonium location where we did enjoy our time. I had the 3 for 10.00 special and my parents had create your own fajitas. The only problem we encountered which was small was the waitress gave me salad instead of chips and salsa. Our original waitress corrected the minor problem. (7/29/2016) UPDATE. They've tried to update the menu with more fresh options even wheatberries and quinoa, and that restaurant gold, avocados. People will pay more for anything with avocado or "fresh" guacamole (us included). It was probably too optimistic to expect really fresh guacamole from a Chili's. The molcajete came to the table with the already mashed avocado in it, all the server did was mix-in some diced red onion, pickled jalapeno, and diced tomato, left us with 1 lime wedge. Likely these were frozen avocado halves or pulp that they thawed in the microwave. Yeah, I saw that life hack on the interwebs, too, "How to instantly ripen an avocado in the microwave." It didn't work when I did it either. That's what this guacamole tasted like with the dry texture, too. The 2 for $20 still the best deal. Had the Honey Chipotle BBQ on both the Half Rack (fall off the bone) and Chicken Crispers (flaky crispy), both decent. read more

I wasn't expecting four star quality food but the salad that they brought out to me was unacceptable. Drenched in dressing, cold chicken, stale quesadilla. I had to send it back because I felt like I was eating a soggy bowl of lettuce. The service was mediocre but at least the server tried to keep our drinks filled. Went to the bathroom on my way out and the restrooms are a great representation of how dirty the restaurant is. Please pay more attention to the food you are bringing out to customers. Always good for a quick meal, especially for indecisive eaters. Decent fajitas and good salads, with tasty sauces for ribs that aren't themselves as good as you could get down the road at a barbecue place. Okay service, though consistently a little slower than other locations of the same chain. Visited this location three times. I didn't want to write a review until I gave it a fair shot. This location is somewhat obscured. It's right off of i83, but not on the main road (York Rd). It's a stand alone Restauarant next to a hotel. The area is somewhat industrial. There are a lot of trucks, the light rail, etc. Ordering to-go was easy and simple. Is your best option, but, check your order before you leave. I visited one evening, around 9 pm, where we were promptly ignored for almost 20 mins. It wasn't crowded, but this location rarely is crowded, because it's location is somewhat in the cut. After alerting the management we left. Decided come back another time, I know I am a glutton for punishment, but I'm a points member & love the chips with salsa. On my last occasion, we came earlier in the day during lunch. It still wasn't a typical crowd, like I am used to seeing at a Chilis. The staff were attentive. However, there were FLIES everywhere. in between the booths, around our food, on some of the other tables. NOPE NOPE NOPE. Will not visit this location ever again! read more

If your food of choice involves chicken, this place is for you, because 90% of the dishes here are chicken-based. After all "chicken is so versatile". I'm no huge fan of chicken, with all its dirty warehouse processing and their poor living conditions...but all PETA aside, this place is overrated. I decided on nachos and was ready to order when the waitress came. She asked me if I wanted the "9 or the 12". So I just had to ask "The nine or the twelve what? I want nachos!" So she explained to me that the nachos there were counted out and each chip had toppings on it. So I just had to mess with her. I told her I wanted the 13. Stupid me, I didn't realize our country had such a corn chip shortage (smack HEAD!)....Well I certainly wanted to do my part to chip in (pun intended); wouldn't want the less fortunate not to have their chip rations for the week. Imagine the chaos of a chip rebellion in this country--poor, ragged indigent people with salsa jars in their hands with nothing to dip in it. The horror! Deciding that was too much stupidity for me, I changed my order. I got a cheeseburger. Not sure what it was called-something to do with an avocado, b'cus there was a slice of avocado on it-duh! Not bad, but nothing great for the price. Also a pet peeve of mine is when restaurants pre-salt their fries. WTF is with that? Can't they trust me to season my own damn fries? My girlfriend had the chili and was repulsed. I tasted it and it and found that it to be a thin gruel seasoned with chili. You'd think a place called Chili's could do a decent chili! The feck?! Garbage! read more

This is my hometown chili's. I was raised inside of these walls, under this roof. The bottomless chips and salsa is basically my grandmother and she always taught me even when things are looking grim, when there's only a few crumbs left, there is always more to come. The buffalo chicken sandwich is like my mama, she serves me the spicy lessons of life, but carefully between two buttery soft buns, because she knows I am sensitive. The fajitas are my dad - they have taught me hard work and craftmanship, things aren't just going to come made for you all the time (ever been to Ikea?) If you want something done right, you better do it yourself. The cajun pasta is my younger brother. Be careful if you pick on him too much, because he really packs a punch. The cookie skillet is like my boyfriend and has taught me how hard in love you can truly fall. Love is so good, it literally fills you to the brim. When you don't think you could be any fuller, it fills you some more. *Live, Laugh, Love, Chilis* read more
