I do not know what has gone on with this Chili's! Over the last year + it has gone down hill so bad. I have kept coming back thinking it was a one off or a bad day, but i just think it just a bad restaurant, ran by terrible leader. About three months ago i was eating in the restaurant, they were busy and the service was slow slow slow. The food was sub par luke war to cold. My family whiteness an incident with the bartender (justin whom i thought was a great until this) he talked loudly to this older couple like they where dogs calling them stupid and so on. As we left i saw him and the white male manager smoking and talking out side, i figured that he was being fired because the way the talked to the customers, And well deserved there was no way he should have not be fired.
About four weeks ago my family was returning from a trip, and decided to get some chili.s to take home on our way in. so we called about 30 minuets out. The phone rang for a long time someone picked up and when i told them i wanted to make a call in order, she asked/told me to go on line and place the order. i told her i was driving and could not, she asked me to call back in 10 minuets she was extremely busy. So i called back in 15 minuets i was immediately put on hold by a male. I was on hold for 15 minuets as we were arriving into town, at this point i was a little irritated so i drooped off my wife and kids and drove up to the store, still on hold. When i walked in i asked to talk to a manager and showed them that i had been on hold for 28 minuets and what else had happened. He apologized telling me how busy they were and quickly took my order. I took a set on the bench and proceeded to wait over 45 minuets for our order. But while waiting i got to listen to the show, and all the ridiculousness. First of all Justin is still working there, his wife also works there, she did not like they way a server was talking or flirting with him, so she was going back and forth with him and the other server.... F--this F==That, BS on and on. Another server and a cook or dishwasher were in a shouting match with every curse word and the N WORD being thrown around like crazy. The whole thing was crazy the to good girls were very embarrassed and both of them and i where very unconformable. I talked with the manager again he apologized again offered me a free drink while i waited. i declined and just paid for my order and got out of there. The employees are doing and acting how every they want very few if any care about the customers. I saw several employees walking out side smoking talking with people driving up caring bag outside, if half of those that went outside would of help with the orders i would have been out in half the time or sooner as it should have been or as done in other Chili's. I've talked with the managers and apparently the manager smoking and joking with Justin out side is the new GM so calling and talking to him would do nothing he is aware of all of this and is doing nothing to fix it. At this point we decided that we would most likely would not be coming back to Texarkana Chili's, maybe any Chili's going to miss the ribs.
ONE star only because i have to give at least one. This is NOT place to take you family, you will be wasting your time money and happiness, while your kids get to listen to a bunch of hoodlums curse and use language that is not correct.
Two days ago my son comes home with Chili's he got me a rack of ribs with fries and a salad with ranch dressing, at lest that is what the receipt said taped to my box.... guess what no ranch for the salad and no french fries anywhere... Ribs were good to day, but where done with Chili's read more
