This place was recommended by the Comfort Inn we were staying at. It's a nice little 3 minute walk from the hotel so if you like to do that vs. drive it's a good stretch before eating and after. The greeting staff were very polite and our waiter was also very nice. The restaurant looked clean and I loved their main wall mural. They have Coca~Cola as their soda service but they do not have Coke Zero so we ordered Sweet and unsweetened tea, choice was delicious the hubby said Sweet tea was on point. As I have stated several times I am a salsa snob and what they had here for salsa but red and green was not good. The chips were good! So we ordered Bob's Dip it was really good if you like yours a bit spicier then I would ask for jalapeños or cholula sauce but emphasis you want it for the dip otherwise they will bring it out later with your meal. I wanted to try something from the TaMolly's Favorites but the Bob's dip was very cheesy so we went with a Fajita Combo for two with Chicken and Beef (great price). They bring you out two of everything which was nice I didn't have to share with the hubby. No desserts or alcohol this time just wanted a calm dinner. We had a great lunch last week at TaMolly's Texarkana. It was hot outside, so the spice of the salsa seemed a perfect companion. I ordered the one beef burrito and beef enchilada combo. My wife ordered the two enchilada combo, one chicken and one beef. It was all quite good and very delicious! read more

Service was excellent and polite. Ambiance was loud, but normal for a large restaurant. Food and prices were okay. The ground beef was salty, the table salsa was way too tomato-y and really cold, which wasn't good, and the sour cream sauce didn't look pleasing but tasted okay. read more

He also had diarrhea. Saturday morning 9/13/2025 we left for Houston, TX. He started suffering a migraine. When we arrived home he was vomiting again. He had confusion. & fever of 102. Sunday morning 7:30 am. we were at Houston Memorial Hermann South East Hospital. He was in the ER. The Drs. Diagnosed him Sepsis. He was admitted and was given IV Antibiotics for 3 days. He had BACTERIAL FOOD POISONING! Staphylococcus aureus To be exact. Which he got at your Restaurant. You seriously need to work on Restaurant. You seriously need to work or your food safety. Stopped in Texarkana on the way to Dallas, always see it driving back and forth to Arkansas on I30.. To say the least not impressed. Walking in to a nice size restaurant, with a Mexican theme (of course) with bright colors. Starting with the chips and salsa, where the chips were old/hard, salsa was OK.... Unfortunately the queso tasted like can nacho sauce with beef with no flavor and very bland. Husband enjoyed the burrito and the cheese enchilada was bland due to the queso. Service was excellent! Very attentive and friendly waitress and staff. I had the grilled tilapia tacos (comes with 2 tacos (doubled tortilla each) lettuce a slice of avocado and avocado cream sauce. It was very hot and delicious. It also comes with a large side of beans with cheese on top and rice! My hubby had the beef Chile relleno, he said it was a 3.5 out of 5 and his dish also came with beans and rice. The chips were hot and ready anytime we asked for some. Very straight forward Tex-Mex restaurant on I-30. Being in this location means lunch / dinner rush and I cannot say more about how great their service was. Everyone was very friendly and super sharp. You can tell they get a lot of practices being in this convenient location. The food is very standard, large portions for the price. A family whether traveling or in town can eat well here. Interior decoration reminded me of Chuy's. Overall a solid restaurant, I can't say I will be coming here regularly but if you're in a pinch and want some solid Tex-Mex this is a good option for you. read more

LOVE coming to TaMolly's whenever I am in town visiting family. I ALWAYS order the Guacamole Salad and a Large Salsa + Chips. I definitely make a meal out of it and it's enough to get you full. This past time I made my same order but added a Shredded Chicken Taco Salad (no queso cheese) + Ranch dressing. The food was delicious and the taco salad wasn't too heavy on the stomach. I had leftover chips and salsa and was able to snack on that throughout the day. They have a drive thru now where you can pick up your order instead of going inside which is a plus! Stopped in for a late lunch. Atmosphere: Nice and clean, decor is your typical TexMex place. We got the Yellow queso to start. It was fine not the best I have ever had but not the worse, just add a little bit more salsa to it. I got two enchiladas: Spicy beef enchiladas with chili and Chicken with sour cream, comes with rice and beans. Great Tex-Mex at economical prices! We love the TaMolly's in Greenville, so we jumped at the chance to test this Texarkana location. Felt like home; exact same floor-plan, and the same tasty food. About the only difference is that we paid at ghe table, instead of front counter. Our waittress was friendly, and service was good. He is such a personable, attentive, joyful person to be served by. Thank you very much Hunter for making my experience. Excellent. I decided to freshen up before eating and went to the restroom. Before I could make it to the restroom a scent of raw sewage hits me! The restroom seemed clean like no paper on the floor but the scent damn near had me about to vomit! I doubt people who work there has gone nose blind and customers should say thing about it! Wednesday evening enchilada special cannot be beat. Great price and more food than one person can eat. You get supper and a dinner the next day. You can mix and match the enchiladas and you can get double beans if you don't like Mexican rice. I think their sweet tea is the best around and it keeps coming. Service is fast and you can be in and out quickly if needed. They have large tables for big groups and the place is a little louder than most so don't bring a date here if you expect to talk. Probably the best Mexican food in the area for the price. Parking is easy too. read more

Both my boyfriend and I got the lunch order of Chicken Fajita's on a Sunday afternoon. I have Celiac Disease and was happy to see I could eat the fajitas w/corn tortillas, enchiladas, tamales, rice and beans if I wanted. There's lots of choices. There's another review that mentioned a GF brownie, but it was no longer on the menu. The food was awesome! The chicken was what I call "pretty" chicken. Nice clean white meat. The rice was delicious!!! Of course I won't actually know for 3-4 days if it made me sick or not. There were some issues... no silverware on the table even after being served our food. I found 1 napkin wrapped set up by the front hostess area, but not enough for 2. When I asked the manager, he told me to ask my waiter. My waiter brought me a to-go plastic set and asked if that was ok? I said not really since I was eating in, but ok. Then he brought me a really set. When I went to the ladies room, there was quite a bit of toilet paper and paper towels on the floor. There was no toilet paper in the stall, but there was a roll of paper towels on the hand rail in the larger of the 2 stalls. I went back to the manager to ask if they had anymore toilet paper and explained what I seen in the restroom. The mgr went in the men's room and grabbed 1 roll of 1/2 wet toilet paper and handed it to me. I left it for the next person. That's really not acceptable. I'll be back for the food next time I drive thru town, but they really need to fix the problems! I gave a 3 star review instead of 4 because of the problems I incurred. I enjoyed the meal. read more

ZERO STARS!!!!! AWFUL food! Cold cheese dip, nasty and watered-down salsa, and STALE, OLD chips! The booth seat still had chips in the crevices! The bathroom was a DISGRACE!! It smelt HORRIBLE!!! It Did it look like it had been cleaned for months!! Think about the cooks that walk in the bathroom and then back to the kitchen, and hope that they don't use the five-second rule if they drop anything!! Around the urinals and on the floor was soaking pee! DEFINITELY a health risk!!! The health department NEEDS to visit this joint ASAP!!! PURE DISGUSTING!!! read more

What a great restaurant. The service is fantastic and the food delicious. On our last visit, the service was impeccable. I'd barely take a sip of water and they'd refill my drink. They swapped out our chips the moment we got to the bottom. The food came out in probably 15 minutes. It was extremely fast. Everything was exactly as we ordered it. We were all very full after! It's really delicious Mexican food especially for a chain restaurant. My one complaint is that I wish they did more "a la carte" menu items. I don't always want the beans and rice and would rather order just a taco or an enchilada and make my own sort of combo. And maybe this is an option, I've never asked. I just don't see a section like this on the menu. Other than that, I have no complaints! Definitely worth a visit! read more

Not from Texarkana so did not know where to eat. After spending 30 minutes on Yelp I decide on Ta Molly's. Yelp and Google pages both say they are open til 9. I walk-in the door around 8. After standing in waiting area for several minutes an employee finally approaches and tells me they are closed. I informed the employee that online and sign on door both say open til 9. Here is the place you come to eat at lunch time with your co-workers. Virtually no tourist come here. This is mostly a local's spot, right off the freeway. It did seems a bit pricy to me, but it was tasty. They start you out with a basket of chips and salsa. It's great to get you going on ordering. I had the cheese quesadillas and enjoyed it.
