Their AL Pastor is the best I've ever had. Been here several times and never had anything bad. It is a family run business, so be patient with the wait. The food is so worth it!

YALL THIS PLACE IS PHENOMENA! Just went and got the pozole to go and I'm convinced it's the best Mexican food in town!!! Don't skip over this tiny little gem! I will be going back (maybe weekly)

Food as authentic as it gets. This was better than some of the "Mexican restaurants" I've eaten at in San Antonio and southern Arizona. The food is all made fresh and is definitely a family own feel. It is also one of the only places that is taking the COVID-19 stuff seriously, and I'm happy about that! The enforce masks, keep social distancing, sanitize everything, and all the stuff were a mask, gloves and are aware of their distance with guests. The food is the best part. It's some of the best Mexican food I've had in my life. If I lived here I would eat here everyday. So skip all the other restaurants and make sure you try this place out. Great food for really affordable prices.

Passing through Texarkana there is a lovely little mom and pop taco place called Tacos Mi Pueblo. The menu is simple but the food is delicious and affordable. This isn't ur Tex mex, hipster fusion taco joint. This is as authentic as you can get! We had the gordillas, tacos de carne Asada, taco de lengua, and pork and homey soup (forgot the name) My favorite was the beef tacos.. should have ordered 5 !! Give this place a shot! Don't let the outside scare ya !

Busy kitchen! Ladies taking orders are very nice and doing a great job!

Good, not great. Staff could not have been nicer. Place was pretty clean. Out of a lot of meats and tamales but I was later on a Sunday so I get that. The rice was the best part. Very good rice. The carnitas was ehh so that's why I'm going 3 stars. The Gorditas came out fresh and everything was hot. They have a red and green sauce and both are ok. Good, not great. If you are looking for a place to eat off the interstate that's better than fast food this will fill that need. I would eat here again.

Not at all a fancy place but the there is a reason they always have a line and it's alMost always full of people of all types. The are very nice and the food is top notch. Literally some of the best Mexican food I have ever had in Texas.

Three delicious enchiladas are in there somewhere. Amazing.

CINCO DE STARSO, CISCO!!! First of all the rice. It could have been the meal. Moist, succulent almost...and the flavor. Terrific. I had the sampler. I don't remember what it was except that it was so good that I want to make a checklist and go through everything on the menu. Second Visit. Incredible enchiladas and sopas. Most unique Mexican food anywhere. Best hot sauce I ever had, heat AND flavor.

The reviews aren't wrong, you guys. This place is the real deal. It's possible that I have never tasted better Mexican street food, and that's saying a lot, because Dallas has some five-star Mexican restaurants. When we left after our meal, my boyfriend suggested we start looking for a house in Texarkana, so we could eat here every day. He was joking, but also kinda not. First, it's such a hole-in-the-wall place that we drove right past it. Even with Google Maps guiding us there, we just completely did not see it, zoomed past and had to double-back. Once inside, the dark little one-room restaurant was packed. We had to race other patrons to the last free table. It's order at the counter, and their menu is written in dry-erase marker on a little white board by the register. We ordered one plate of chicken enchiladas, and one chicken Sample Plate (one taco, one gordita, and one sope). Both plates came with rice, and let me just say: WHAT is in that rice?? It's AMAZING. I need the recipe so I can recreate that flavor. SO. GOOD. Okay, now that we've gotten the rice out of the way, on to the entrees! Also just flat out unbelievable. The flavors were spectacular. Every bite was heaven. Need I say more? Seriously, it didn't look like much when they put it in front of us, but we were scraping our plates by the end. I think my favorite thing was the sope, but it was a close contest because everything was incredible. The whole meal was only $19 for both of us, by the way, including tax and tip. Reasonably priced, especially since we would have paid thousands for a meal like that. Run, don't walk, to Tacos Mi Pueblo.

This is their latest menu. The Beef Cheek is the best, but the beef and chorizo is pretty darn good too!

The food is so yummy! I try to call in before because the days that they are open tend to get pretty busy. Definitely recommend, authentic.

Fantastic. Delicious posole. We got enchiladas chicken, sopas in chicken, bistec, and pastor. Posole and enchiladas were the bomb.

Brenda L was the server who took my order. Per their suggestion I ordered the birria tacos which came with rice, beans, toppings and then a side of chips and salsa. The tacos were okay. I think coming from Texas I'm just used to food being more seasoned, but the meat was tender and the portions were generous. Now usually at a taco joint either the green or red salsa will be on the milder, less spicy side but here ?? If you like heat then you're in for a treat because oh my lord LOL. The biggest downside of the visit were the restrooms. The smell in the men's room was atrocious. It literally almost made me vomit. I was told that the women's restroom was the same. The smell could be from the sign in the bathroom, which said to put toilet paper and paper towels in the trash, not the toilet. I hoped this was a joke, but it sure did not smell that way.

The greeting staff were very polite and our waiter was also very nice. The restaurant looked clean and I loved their main wall mural. They have Coca~Cola as their soda service but they do not have Coke Zero so we ordered Sweet and unsweetened tea, choice was delicious the hubby said Sweet tea was on point. As I have stated several times I am a salsa snob and what they had here for salsa but red and green was not good. The chips were good! So we ordered Bob's Dip it was really good if you like yours a bit spicier then I would ask for jalapeños or cholula sauce but emphasis you want it for the dip otherwise they will bring it out later with your meal. I wanted to try something from the TaMolly's Favorites but the Bob's dip was very cheesy so we went with a Fajita Combo for two with Chicken and Beef (great price). They bring you out two of everything which was nice I didn't have to share with the hubby. No desserts or alcohol this time just wanted a calm dinner. For the two of us we spent with tip about $63.
