First time to the new spot after Texas Roadhouse moved. We got right in around 2:00 on a Saturday afternoon. Our server was fantastic! She kept up with our drinks and brought us extra rolls. The food was delicious as always... I got half rack of ribs with mashed potatoes and veggies. My husband got the Dallas filet with same sides. The rolls were undercooked, the sides with my meal were okay. they didn't put butter on my baked potato though. I ordered a medium steak and it came still mooing. It was very undercooked, this isn't the first time I have had this problem. I informed the waitress who brought over the manager. He was quite rude and unpleasant. I told him I didn't want to wait for the steak to be recooked because the rest of my food would get cold. Instead of offering me a full discount, he still charged me almost 10 dollars for the sides with my meal. I have ate at a handful of out of town texas roadhouses, and there has never been any problems there. I have had several problems everytime I go to the texarkana establishment. I will NOT be back at texarkana's texas roadhouse. They seem to not be able to get there act together!...lol read more

I should start off by saying the last review.I did of this restaurant.I gave it a 5.It was a wonderful experience. This visit not so much. Our waitress was very nice, but the food wasn't. I probably wouldn't be writing this review but you can't order something and have it come back to you wrong both times. When the manager brought us the second hamburger, and saw that it was also overcooked oand saw that it was also overdone. She asked if I would like to have a send back again.And I let her know that we've already been there almost an hour.I was hungry and I would just deal with it. She didn't apologize but what she did do was she took $5.00 off our meal. She didn't let us know what she had in mind it would of been nice. First...our waitress was amazing wish I could remember her name. This is the 2nd roadhouse in 2 different states...sides were slightly warm, steak and shrimp over cooked. The tray they use to bring out drinks must be wet cause the straws we got were wet. Takes a minute to take the wrapper off then the straws are wet going into your drink, because you don't have napkins yet. No more texas roadhouse for us. We did ask for 1 of the sides to be replaced cause we wanted at least the cheese on top to be somewhat melted...but no came back a new but still not warm enough read more

After covid, TRH TXK was marginal at best. Service was horrid. Food was poorly prepared. Easter supper 2023. Exterior and interior are clean and in good repair. Aiylin (sp) is a phenomenal waitress. She was attentive without being intrusive. The prime rib was the best I've had in years, if not decades. It was properly cooked, tender, and had a wonderful crust. The baked potato was excellent, although TRH doesn't have green onions. Aiylin suggested diced red onions. Yes! The Caesar side salad was eggcellent. 'Caester''? At 6:30, we placed a pickup order for 8:00. We get there (admittedly early at 7:52) and they decide right then to tell us that there isn't any pulled pork for the pulled pork sandwich, when it's they've had an hour and a half since we ordered to tell us so that we could change it, instead, I have to decide right then and there what I want instead so I just go with the safe option and get a grilled chicken Caesar salad, and the person asks me what dressing I want, I say Caesar dressing and she looks at me like my head is on backwards before saying it'll be about 10 minutes for the salad to be ready. It ended up being almost 20 minutes before it was finally ready. After were a few minutes away, I get a call saying that we need to come back because apparently the salad was $1.60 more expensive and they can't just add the charge onto the card, which we obviously were not going to turn around just to pay $1.60 after all the BS they had put us through. Then we get to our hotel to eat, and my fiancés crispy chicken salad came with grilled chicken, and they didn't put the Italian dressing she had asked for, nor did it come with the blue cheese which was an extra charge. Also the hot food (my father-in-law's steak, the rolls, and the chicken for the salads) was cold because of waiting 20 minutes for the saddest salad of all time. Haven't had all my food yet. But the salad is decent (despite them rationing the Caesar dressing.) the rolls and butter that come with are like they were made as tribute to a deity they're that good. I like the classic 80's steakhouse look and feel about the place. Good presentation staff is very attentive and patient. Overall 4 stars because I haven't eaten the main event yet. Passing through coming home from vacation, we found one of our favorite restaurants and prayed for seats at the bar around 2 on a Sunday. We got lucky! (They were SOOOO busy) We love TRH... We visit them anywhere we encounter them to try to figure out the meanings of the murals that surround the bar top. Ainsley was our bartender and she was doing an absolutely phenominal job handling all the tickets, watching her bar top, and still paying attention to every single detail. I mean she asked every one of us which parts of our meal we would like out first or all together... if you haven't worked in the industry, that is not easy to keep up with, especially in a super busy restaurant. The thing about TRH is that for the most part, the service, food, quality, and experience are usually extremely consistent across the brand. I really really hate giving a bad review to my most favorite restaurant but my last few visits to this Texarkana location has just been absolutely subpar at best and today was the worst. My hubby and I along with a friend came in around 3:00, ordered drinks, appetizer and 3 meals. Not that many people in the restaurant. We can see much of the staff chit-chatting. Our drinks came fast but after about 30-40 minutes, no appetizers. We asked our waitress and she brought it out within minutes but it was barely warm. I could tell that it had been sitting out for a bit. The cheese and bacon on the potatoes had hardened. When our meal finally came, the sweet potatoes were charred and marshmallows looked almost burned. The cheese on our Roadkill dish had hardened and the mushrooms shriveled. We should have returned it but we were starving since this was our first meal. Sorry we didn't take pictures. I really do love Texas Roadhouse but Texarkana has to get their $h!t together. Somebody in the kitchen needs to lose his salt shaker. Shrimp, saaaalty. Rice, salty. Clarified butter, salty. Steak, salty. Steak, overdone. Second steak salty and overdone. But it gets worse. Both steaks were only slightly thicker than a breakfast steak, and about a third fat on the end. They damn sure did NOT look anything like those steaks in the showcase. The waitress did all she could to correct the problems, but I got disgusted with the whole thing and gave up, so we boxed the steak for the dog. I'm angry...and I hope the dog forgives me. read more

We were both thinking steak....so decided Texas Roadhouse was on the way home. She had the Sirloin and Shrimp along a Coke. I had the Portobello Mushroom Chicken with a Sweet Tea. Also a cup of Chili. This place knows/does Chili the proper way. NO BEANS! And it was awesome! I was tempted to order a bowl to go, but with 3 hours to drive and limited room...decided against it. We both fully enjoyed our meals, and because of those awesome rolls...and the chili....couldn't really finish mine, so that came with us. Service was just as good as the food! Hooper did a great job!! Parking can get tight if they are busy, but you should be able to get a spot. COVID-19 precautions are fully enforced. What kind of a Son in Law would I be if I didn't rub it in his face that I went to a Texas Roadhouse in Texas so here I am (Yes, I realize that Texas Roadhouse isn't from Texas). I ponied up to the bar where Abby and Kelsey were working. Both of them were friendly, personable, and great at their jobs. My Steak was great just as I have had many times at TRH. Sometimes they are good and sometimes they are great. This one ranks up there with one of the best I've had at a TRH.
