The food was pretty good at this venue. The crowd was steady and they were very busy. The servings were generous so I took some home and enjoyed dinner the next day!

Wings and fries

The food tasted horrible very poor quality incorrectly prepared they just threw a handful of fries on top of my wings which are suppose to be in a separate container got buffalo sauce all over them I wanted ketchup they didn't send any wings are hard to chew very stale

Chips & Salsa

i came on a saturday at 6 and there was a 15 minute wait. No big deal at all and we were seated very fast. Our server was Simba and was training a lady named Jill. They both were very fast and very attentive. Our food was very good as well. We got chips salsa and queso. Salsa was excellent and queso was good. We got the fried mozzarella sticks and they were wonderful. my boyfriend got the chicken bacon ranch quesadillas and he said they were very yummy. I got the chicken crispers with fries and mac & cheese. It was all very good and very fresh. at the end, we got the molten chocolate cake and it was a great end to the meal. I would recommend coming here for a chill dinner!

Although we had to wait to be seated we got seated faster than expected. The server was attentive and the food was hot and fresh.

The food and service were good, but don't come for the margaritas - mine (5 of them, so I really tried!) barely had any liquor in them.

Food is less than desirable, the service is worse and the restaurant is filthy. I'm truly amazed that this place is still in business.

If I could leave ZERO stars I would, this place really sucks. Under staffed, dirty, rude, terrible food...should I go on?!?!?

A Must-Try Spot for Brunch Lovers!…read more This place quickly became one of my favorite spots for breakfast, brunch, or lunch. The atmosphere is upbeat and welcoming--perfect for catching up with friends or enjoying a solo meal with great vibes. The food? Fantastic. The menu is creative, fresh, and full of unique flavors that set it apart from your typical brunch fare. There are tons of thoughtful gluten-free options that actually taste amazing--not just the bare minimum. From inventive egg dishes to seasonal veggie sides, every bite felt intentional and flavorful. The service was equally impressive--friendly, knowledgeable, and super accommodating. Our server made great suggestions and made sure everything was just right, including pointing out which dishes could be made gluten-free. Bottom line: If you're looking for a fun, flavorful, and welcoming place for brunch or lunch, this one is worth every visit. I'll definitely be coming back!

You can definitely taste the cinnamon. It's refreshing. - Turkey Guac w/ Cajun Potato Soup (Pick 2) 4.4/5 The sandwich is SO yummy. It's filled with turkey, and the strawberries add a very nice sweetness to the sandwich. The soup is hearty. The sandwich itself though is very very small. - Meemaw's Grits 4.2/5 Very hearty, big juicy pieces of shrimp. Very flavorful with the bacon. - Tuscan Toast 5/5 Such a wonderful balance from the pesto, burrata, and tomato. It's very much worth the money, and is bright in flavor. [RECOMMEND] Free street parking.

The staff were more than friendly and knew their craft beers! We tried some new flavors and were made undeniable fans. I ordered a plate of Duck Fat Fries. This is a total game changer! Even more so, dipping them golden fried sticks in Truffle Mayo... as Buford T. Justice would say... SUMBITCH. And that homemade ketchup? So good it made me want to go smack Junior's mama. We also ordered the Crawfish Dip. It was disgustingly scrumpdidallyumtious!!! Pure flavor profile explosion in my mouth. Never had anything like that before. My wife and I also decided to split a Smash Burger and that thick cut bacon with juicy beef patties... damn. One of the most memorable and satisfying experiences I've ever had, and I haven't even talked about the drinks. My eyes sparkled when I seen a Toasted Pecan Old Fashioned on the menu. A must try. ER MA GAWD!!! One of the best I've ever had... everrrrrr! We also ordered the Cinn-Full Cran Hard Cider by Locust... I now have to find this... just have to! My FIL ordered an ice cream treat with three spoons... lol. Everyone had to give it a try. We ended up ordering a growler of the State Street Blonde to go, and it lasted a day. Unbelievable. I'm heartbroken the place is closed, but will forever leave an impression of Texarkana for me. Thank you! As always, Enjoy & Happy Road-tripping!!

While passing through on a road trip, my local friend recommended Pecan Point and I'm glad I went. Located in downtown, you'll find free street parking in front of the restaurant. We were greeted as soon as we entered and the inside is spacious and casual. I ordered the raspberry Chipotle smash burger ($16), peach cobbler, and a flight of beer and cider ($10). What made this burger stand out was the raspberry Chipotle sauce and fried jalapeños! The flight includes four 4oz pours of any draught and mine were Irish red ale, Pecan Pointe ale, bock beer, and apple cider. The Irish red was my favorite and the Pecan Pointe my least. I would have liked the cobbler to be a little more crunchy, but was still enjoyable. I recommend and will visit again when in town.

Portions are huge, the staff greet you the moment you walk in, and after a few visits, I swear they'll have to roll me out the door (and I'll be smiling the whole way). The fried pickles and cheese curds? Absolutely incredible--perfectly crispy on the outside and addictive. The pancakes are massive yet light and fluffy, the bacon is perfectly crispy, and my coffee cup never runs dry. Honestly, with all this good food, they were seducing me into doing a happy dance right there at the table. Now, back to the star of the show: that chicken fried steak. It's huge, the meat is melt-in-your-mouth tender, and the coating is seasoned perfectly--crispy enough that even my leftovers stayed crunchy after days in the fridge and a spin in the microwave. Pure comfort food bliss. And let's not forget the biscuits and gravy--heavenly! I got my gravy on the side so I could dip both my biscuit and my chicken fried steak. Best decision ever. Texas Chuck Wagon is comfort food done right, with service that makes you feel like family. I'll be back... again and again (and again).
