As I walk in the first thing that was said to me was, "There is going to be a 45 min. wait." I was kind of stunned since I saw tables unoccupied, so I ask why was the wait so long? Hostess then gives me some, IMO a BS answer. I counter his argument, then he realizes I'm not giving up on why was the wait 45 minutes long. He then says I'll go get the Manager and then 2 minutes later he comes back and says Managment approved to sit us down??? I start thinking like, what do you mean approve? You have empty tables and booths? Well, we get seated then he says to me "the server will get with you guys as soon as he or she has time too." At this point im just shellshocked! Took the family here for dinner they got us in right away. We were just waiting for one more person and I let the host know. The host got utensils for everybody except for one person. Then, sat us at the smallest table when asked for a larger table the waiter "now" told us he didn't have any. We looked around and seen there was only two large tables in the whole restaurant and they were occupied. Both of us adults were sitting halfway out in the aisle way. All the tables were so close to each other you've got no privacy. Okay, whatever, it's fine, we thought as long as the food is good. The only thing that was good was the appetizers everything else was overcooked. They didn't even have pineapple slices for the kids so my kids had to choose something else. The waiter was nice but in a rush which caused him to be forgetful. He forgot my daughters order so she had to wait while everyone else ate, by the time her food was done everyone had finished eating. Then, when my daughter went to the restroom I got a glimpse of the kitchen and it was filthy! Food was absolutely everywhere on the floor! I'm surprised workers didn't slip and fall. This location was disorganized, small(not family friendly), food over cooked, hazardous, and everyone was rushing. Not a good atmosphere. I'm giving one star for them getting us back on time, our waiter nice attitude with how busy it was, and appetizers. Worst Chillie I've been too. read more

We showed up around 10:30pm (yes we were those people...I know I'm sorry) BUT this did not alter how we were treated at all! Rachel was PHENOMENAL!!! She kept our drinks full, checked on us, brought boxes with all the necessities!!! My sister is vegan and loved her recommendations, which she basically made into tacos! I'm a pain when it comes to margaritas and I really appreciate that she asked the bartender (Chris's) recommendation for me...he was spot on!!! My aunts, grandma and mom are VERY talkative and seriously would not leave, I was annoyed and waited in the car haha BUT they were not pushy or unkind towards them even though I'm sure they wanted them to leave so they could clean and get home!!! Talk about just an awful experience. Went there for lunch and it had to of been the worst chili's ever. The restaurant was dirty, the waitress was slow. We had to ask 5 times for straws, yes straws. The soup was good but everything else was gross. The guacamole had strings of hard avocado in it and was already Browning. Went here for lunch, with family. We ordered sodas and I got the blackberry and mango tea, the mixing was always to strong or to bland. The service is good, even when busy, I would not say great as the wait for q drink refill can be 3-5 minutes. The pricing has gone up, I always say impress me then and nothing changed, I was not impressed enough to pay more. I always get the triple sampler, a good variety and best tasting food to me. The Southwest eggrolls were hardly filled with filling. The wings were slightly drizzled with sauce.. haha and the cheesy bites were okay (frozen and deep fried to serve), I've ordered this for almost 10yrs now and they just can't seem to get it right! I sampled the buttermilk chicken tenders and the crispness was there, koodos, the buttermilk taste was not there. I shy away from food chains because its always an assembly line operation with bland food. I push 3 stars because the assembly line bland food always disappoints me but the flavor is their and can improve to make a great place to eat! read more

Came with a friend and we sat at the bar. Our service was great for how late it was. We both ordered the Ancho Salmon. It was cooked to perfection and came out fresh! Usually when you go to places late its never good. Our waiter was always checking up on us and refilling our drinks. Definitely will be back. read more

Came in for lunch on labor day. The place was fairly busy but not overly crowded. We were able to be seated after a few minutes despite having a fairly large party. We were able to place drink and appetizer orders fairly rapidly. Chips and salsa came out quickly along with drinks which included a few mixed drinks. Tito's punch and and Presidente margarita. Drinks were very good. Meal orders were a little slow after about 15 minutes. Staff seemed to disappear after initial order as our party sat without refills for about 40 minutes. Entrées didn't come out for about 50 minutes after we were seated. The mango Chile chicken was very good. The habanero gave the mango a nice sweet spicey kick. The rice and broccoli were okay. Chicken breast was lean and grilled well. The margarita chicken was also very good. Same sides with a different salsa topping. The half rack of baby backs with original sauce were okay. Have gotten into the habit of ordering extra sauce as they seem to be "dry" most of the time. Never got asked if I wanted a second refill. Based on food I would give 3.5 stars but subtracting one for service. read more

While I generally like Chilis, my husband brought me home nachos with chicken last night from a family get together that I could not attend. At first I thought he must have brought me leftovers, but he assured me he ordered me nachos. There were exactly 8 chips, a side of sour cream and salsa, and so many jalapeños you couldn't see the 8 chips. 8 chips - i counted them before handing the takeout package back to my husband and reheating some leftovers for dinner. It's sad when the nachos at a fast food establishment far exceed the quality of a sit down restaurant and at half the cost. Not one of my better Chilis experiences. read more

Every time I go here I end up asking myself why. First of all the place is freezing. Second, the service leaves a lot to be desired for. When we arrived in the restaurant we waited a good five minutes before we were acknowledged and the place was dead. I'm sure the manager saw us but guess he was too busy doing nothing to acknowledge us. Our server wasn't that much better either, she was snooty and threw out more "no's" than I care to hear.....everything by the book, no exceptions! The quality of the food has also diminished. Gross. The special which was a short rib enchilada was just gross. The meat was fatty and made of gristle. They charged 750 for a margarita which they list in the menu but cleverly don't list the prices. One of us had cajun shrimp pasta. Shrimp were tiny and tasted old. Ribs had weird mustard sauce. Thanks for the food poisoning. I sat at the bar where I had a great view of the kitchen, I should have listened to my gut. The kitchen was nasty dirty. I even heard an employee sneezing and coughing. She should have been sent home. Ate here Tuesday feb 3 in the evening. spent two days suffering in my hotel room and missed meetings. Holy cow, previous reviews were close to being correct. Service was really slow. We get to Chili's and get it name in the waiting list. They said the wait was about 20 minutes. The wait was 40 minutes. Okay, big deal, right. I watch a table for six sit empty for the entire 40 minutes we waited. I used their restroom once and on that sojourn I counted 5 empty tables including the table for six. We figured they didn't have enough staff to seat anyone at the table for six, so it sat empty. And guess what, guess where we got seated. Yep, the nasty empty tables for six. Hope does that happen. From there, the service was slow, they forgot one of our orders and half the time never brought what we asked for, like a plate to roll the fajitas. By the way, the peppers they used in the fajitas were the credit kind. Anyway, we give up. Not going there again. Plz, if you go there be forewarned asked lower your expectations, you might be okay with the experience if you expect very little. read more

Well this is an oldie, but not really a goodie. Seems like over the years Chili's has really gone down hill. This location may be the worst. Hate how they have two servers and you never seem to get attention from either of them. Then if you don't pay cash they want you to use the on table ziosk to make a payment and half the time it didn't work. Overall pretty crummy joint. But get stuck going there for work lunches. I don't normally love chain restaurants but I do love this Chilis location. We popped in for a work lunch and had some surprisingly great food from their new menu. I always sit at the bar, which is dimly lit compared to the rest of the restaurant. The bar is always clean, the chairs are comfortable, and the servers are polite. The food is representative of the chain - Americanized Mexican - and you certainly get a lot for your money. Beware the lunch rush - it can get CRAZY busy and I've seen folks flip when it takes 20 minutes for their food to arrive (chill out, people!). read more

Basically, they got chips and salsa with PUBIC HAIR topping. Totally ruined the evening. My husband and I waited for almost an hour just for chips and salsa, and we weren't the only ones--there were two other people who had each been waiting over an hour for simple orders!! And when pressed, the staff would make some flimsy apology and not do anything to help. This place was all kinds of out of sorts tonight. My son and I stood at the hostess booth waiting to be seated, and waiting, and waiting, and waiting. Meanwhile, the server in the bar area, whose section was not busy, did not say one word to us or get someone to seat us, even after making eye contact multiple times. Finally, a different server comes over and tells us we have to wait an additional 5 minutes to be seated, or go sit at a table in the bar area. He told us that would be quicker. We went and sat at a table, and the table next to us filled us in on the hostess just disappearing and people waiting for forever to get seated as a result. The server in the bar area, yup, the one that ignored us while we were standing there waiting to be seated, was not having it and refused to serve us. She said that back in July, they made a new rule and only 21 and older could sit in that area, so my son and I had to move. We went back to the hostess station, and waited, and waited, and waited. The hostess was extremely confused. Someone else had to get involved to finally get us to a table. We were told that they only had 2 servers and that's why they were all discombobulated; however, I saw 6 there, and 3 of them were at our table. I feel bad for our server because by the time we waited, sat, was refused service, waited again, and then sat again, we were not happy at all. There was nothing wrong with our food, but the whole first impression thing......ruined our experience there. read more

Waiter was nice but was not a good experience. He didn't know the menu, was extremely slow, and didn't clear our table ever, even when we stacked the dishware. The speed was so frustrating. It's took over 1.5 hours and every time he went to ask a question, we knew it was going to be another 10 minutes. We have not always had bad experiences at this Chile's. But, we think in the last few years....this Chile's has gone completely downhill. We have actually given this particular location more chances than we intended to. Our last three experiences at this location were not great. They have also been progressively worse each time. We had vowed not to eat here again the last time we went here. Unfortunately, our daughter-in-law picked this place as "her choice". We didn't want to hurt her feelings, so we hoped for the best. To start....our server and hostess were rude. We apparently put them out arriving at 815 p.m. We were informed they were closing at 9:30 " for maintenance". We thought that was enough time. Apparently NOT. We ordered chips and salsa to start. We also ordered queso. The queso was luke warm at best. It had a weird taste. The chips were not edible. We sent the chips back. They were all bunched together and had a bunch of soggy chips. They are normally very crispy. The server brought us new chips. They were a slight improvement. Still gross. We gave up at that point though. The server asked us if the next batch was "way better". We said "well....slightly". The server actually argued with us. She said in her opinion.... they WERE much better. Yikes! Every single person at our table had a complaint about their entree. No one complained to the server, however. NONE of the fries at our table were hot. Some were actually cold. I only took one bite of my Buffalo Chicken Sandwich. I lost my appetite when I bit into a disgusting tomato. I think it was a tomato. It was "mush". And when I saw the shredded lettuce was literally more brown than green....I was done at that point. I didn't send it back. No one sent stuff back. None of us thought it was worth an argument the server. It took forever to get the food. None of it was hot, or fresh. We had to almost beg for more water. Sorry!!! I have been here many many times .... Chili's is one of my favorites. .. The service at this location tho is totally hit or miss... tonight huge miss! Sat in the bar.. huge mistake. Had to ask at least twice for anything we needed. .. refills ranch mustard. We had our food almost gone...20 mins later before she checked back. It seriously took her 10 mind to refill a che% you coke. Another 10 to 15 to get a check. And no they weren't busy. Not sure what her hang up was. We used to go here all the time....chips and salsa can't be beat. Chips and queso bean dip the bomb. So what gives? Why 3 stars? The service is usually great... What gives? Less and less bang for the buck. Even with their specials, they are expensive for the amount of food you get. Portions are getting smaller, prices are going up.
