This review was for August 29th around 7:30 pm we sat at the bar with waitress Ashley. We love the chilies off Nason due to the amazing happy hour and service! Our family wanted to celebrate at this location to make it convenient for everyone else. Worst mistake ever the whole experience went down hill. We had a high top table and the place was dead. We had the waitress get upset since they were taking so long to remove our old plates and drinks due to my husband placing the drinks on the closest table near to us. She got upset and told my husband not to leave any dishes on other tables we literally did not fit. We sat for a while and held the dirty plates and another food runner came out and still declined taking the dishes. We were so confused with the team customer service and approach to everything. Not once with the store manager come out to check in on us or other tables. The table behind us complained and called out the manager. We noticed this location needs immediate help from corporate or hr. The whole team is lacking leadership. Even the hostess was called by the waitress to clean the table immediately after we placed the plates and cups on it. She was upset she rolled her eyes and seemed upset. Came here for my daughter graduation last week and waited to make this review until I was certain of the service. As we entered into the restaurant we were not greeted by any staff and left standing around for sometime until I ended up calling the restaurant to let them know they have guests. After taking our seat the table was dirty, we received food at varying times at the table with the children being served last. When our food arrived we had no napkins and utensils at the table . When the food was finished we waited far too long to receive a bowl that I ended up taking the kids to the car to while waiting for staff. Terrible experience. We will not be returning here. He appeared to develop good rapport with all of his tables and you could tell they appreciated having him as their server! One of my frugal brothers suggested Chili's for our Friday lunch and we were all surprised. Pleasantly surprised. Our target was the $10 lunch specials and they didn't disappoint. I had the chipotle chicken bowl salad and a tortilla soup as a starter. With the chips and salsa hitting the table hot and fresh, service was already on point. 6 of us sat at a table that allowed easy ingress and egress. Seems more important now a days. The soups, potato and chicken, tortilla, were hot and flavorful and salads, from house to Caesar, were fresh and crisp. I added more dressing to my chicken salad and wished I'd asked for a chipotle ranch dressing. Still it was a good portion and good value. The table enjoyed burgers, chicken sandwiches, quesadillas, and again, even though they were lunch portions, they were substantial and satisfying. Two dudes asked for boxes. This was my second time coming, I came with my family for my first time and had a good experience here. From the minute we got sat, we were already being ignored. Waited around 20 minutes just for her to come take our drink orders, by that point we were ready to order the appetizers too but the minute she noted down two waters, she left again. Mind you, it was not busy at all. Waited around 20 minutes to order our food, and our drinks. She takes our order with a frown, looking everywhere but at us and speaks as though we're inconveniencing her, once again IT WAS NOT BUSY. I would completely understand if it were, I work within the food industry too. There was no reason to be treating us that way. We wait an HOUR for our food, no one checked on us within that hour, never brought our drinks, plus no chips or salsa? I had come before with my family and received them without anyone asking and I noticed other tables were getting them too, don't know why we never got any. Eventually she comes up asking what we ordered?? So I guess they lost our order or something. Appetizer comes out, and one of the items is wrong. I tell the waiter, she's a different one, and she looks at me as though she expects me to just accept it, asks if I want the chicken on the side then. I had to tell her I literally can't eat corn for her to stop discussing with me and just take the appetizer to be fixed. Also the lemonade drink still hasn't been brought. They go and fix it and my bf asks for the lemonade for a third time and they finally bring it out with the correct appetizer combo. Our food comes out and I'm relieved finally, I haven't eaten all day and I've been here for more then an hour now. My bfs 6oz steak looks smaller then what it should be. And my pasta has the wrong protein. At this point I'm so done, I didn't even want to ask them to fix it because throughout this entire ordeal, the waiters seem annoyed and miserable to be serving us. Not a single apology nor acknowledgment of how terrible this service has been. A third different waiter asks if everything's okay and I let her know I had ordered the chicken not the shrimp. She goes to get the correct one and there goes another 10 minutes I'm not even hungry anymore. The entire time that I was there, it never got busy, the place was dead and slow. I don't understand, I've been here before with my family during peak busy hours and the service was great, food came out at a reasonable time, and we received complimentary chips and salsa, and our waiter was very cheery. After bringing this to the waiters attention they brought out another dish which was still bland. At the end of the meal we got double charges for the pasta, the remake and the one that had a hair in it. After bringing this up to the the waiter they finally removed it. As a service restaurant the item should have been removed after a hair being found in the food and a manager should have came to resolve the situation. Nothing was done and we had to ask for the dish to be removed. If this is the service chilis is offering I would never recommend this establishment to anyone, but seeing as the reviews are already extremely low, other patrons must be experiencing the same thing. read more
